Very casual place. Prices are reasonable depending on what you order. All food and drinks we had were excellent. Vegan neatloaf sandwich, falafel wrap and soup of the day- lentil were great. Red tea and soy chai latte were delicious. Staff was friendly. Will definitely go back when in town!

cute place with its own cat!
Loved the cat walking around, too cute! VERY crowded restaurant, definitely recommend making reservations. We found the only table left at dinner time, and saw them turn away many customers because there were no tables, which was sad. Food was great, though pretty expensive. We were confused with the lack of service, weren't greeted when we came in, didn't know if we could seat ourselves. No one came up to us at the table and offered menus or asked to take our order, so we went up and grabbed our own menus and went up again to try to order, when they finally said something to us and told us they would take our order at the table. Very slow, and not the friendliest service, but worth going for the food.

Pretty good food, nice atmosphere out on the patio. Would go again.

This was a good casual place. Prices are reasonable, and all the food seems very fresh and healthy. Lots of veg options, seemed like more of those than meat options. They had four different vegetarian soups, some of which were vegan also. Would definitely eat at again if they had one near me.

This is a small place with lots of vegan food choices. I had the tuna melt which was good, but didn't seem to be worth $12. Hubby had the insane mexican wrap which he also liked, but was too pricey at $13. This was a very casual place and should have had casual prices. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. They made my sandwich wrong but cheerfully offered to remake it without my even complaining about the mistake.

My first impression wasn't great because we walked in on a week night for dinner and our greeting was "do you have a reservation?" when I replied no the lady seemed disappointed and thought for a minute, saying "well let me see what I can do". I felt like I had done something wrong instead of feeling they were grateful for my business. She then proceeded to seat us and of course there were about ten empty tables that stayed empty all night, so I didn't understand the reservations comment.
On to the food, the "AFC" was really good! I would love to go back sometime and get that again. The food seemed a little overpriced, but it was a nice place at least and had nice decor and seating arrangements.

Cute place to hang out
Tis is a small family owned place with good coffee and tea drinks (with multiple choices of non-dairy milks), good vegan cupcakes, and light lunch items. They also have cookies, pizza dough, and other bakery items. A little hard to find, you have to drive around the parking lot to find it tucked away, but it's worth looking for!

cute little place
Yummy food, really enjoyed the small cafe atmosphere. A little overpriced, but would definitely visit again.

Service was very friendly and helpful. It's a small place but there are some outdoor tables too. The food was good and i would go back to try more things.

went before new owners I think. Food was good, though I didn't like the texture of the fake meat. Nice atmosphere though.

This was a good super casual coffee house. They had quite a few veg sandwich options. There were a lot of different coffee drink options. It was packed when we went around lunch time so seating wasn't easy to get. Service was very friendly. Very convenient location right on essex st. which is the heart of the tourist zone of salem. Easy to find.

Good for hot dogs
This is a small place in a nice shopping center. They have many different toppings for the dogs which is good. I only wish they had whole wheat buns and that they grilled the dogs because they were kind of soft and mushy. It was nice to have a vegan hot dog option though.

This is a great restaurant for a nicer dinner. The place looks pretty casual but the food is more high end. It was also very delicious. Also the drinks are excellent, I had the Pink watermelon martini and the lavender martini, both were yummy. I would go here weekly if I lived closer to it. Definitely worth checking out.

Liked this place a lot. My boyfriend and I went here because it was one of the few places in the area open on sunday night. There were mostly women there, and it is a gay/lesbian establishment, but we felt totally comfortable and welcome eating there. Food was very good, good menu size. Very casual, deli/cafe feel, with a bar downstairs.

good food, not so good staff
While visiting from L.A. we rushed over to get there by 2:00, when they stop serving breakfast because I read that the breakfast is better than the lunch/dinner menu. Arrived at 1:50, there were only a couple of people eating there. The hostess handed me a breakfast menu, but when I began ordering my items, the waiter interuppted me to say that breakfast was over. I told him it was before 2 and he left to go check with the cooks, and reluctantly let us order breakfast. I felt very uncomfortable by that point and didn't really enjoy my time there. However, the food was very good, so I think they should lighten up on the restrictiveness, and aim to please the customers.
407 Newbury St, Boston, USA
This was a pretty cool dark bar right off the main strip of the Newbury area. When we came in there was no seating available inside and the upstairs dining area was closed so we had to stand around and wait for a table. Would have been nice if they opened the upstairs since it was busy. Tried to order a delicious sounding buffalo tempeh sandwich, but they were out of temper unfortunately. Ended up getting chili which was good. Saw many people get chili nachos and they looked yummy. Not a bad experience, but not a great one either.

Had some delicious food here. The cowgirl wrap was a little too spicy for me, but it was so tasty I didn't care. I think it was the best wrap I've ever had, even though the tortilla didn't wrap around the bottom and it was kind of messy to eat. Good soups and teas on the menu. They give you a choice of vegan or regular cheese and almond or regular milk which was good. Store has some cool stuff too. My only complaint was the prices, this place will have to be a once in a while splurge for me because I could never afford to pay their prices on a regular basis.

yerba buena location is nice
there are multiple locations for this tea lounge. I went to the one in yerba buena gardens right above the waterfall. The food and tea were good, and there were lots of veg choices. It was expensive, but at least this location had very nice ambiance, a nice patio, and a nice view. It was good to sit and relax there.
