Great choice for vegan fast food. Great rotation of menu. It's an elevated fast food in my book. Great service and friendly staff every time. From healthy to fried, they have it.

I got the Yo Egg Huevos Rancheros. This "fried egg" was so good! Even my non-vegan dad thought the egg was real. I also got chocolate chip cookies, they were very delicious. My bowl was bigger than I was expecting and very filling. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area!

We came here since it was super close to Legoland and we are beyond pleased to have come here. Every one of the items we got was delicious. Both kids, myself and husband all loved it. My incredibly picky 9 yr old said it was her favorite restaurant ever. We got the texmex nachos, crispy cauliflower, kid burger, kid chck’n tenders, and a buffalo chik’n sandwich.

Amazingly delicious, huge portions! We got the Nashville Hot Chicken, carne asada loaded fries, and the Original burger. All of them were so tasty we came back a second day after going to Legoland!

Veggie Grill never fails to impress. I had the Steakhouse Burger this time and swapped the beyond burger for a veggie burger. The veggie burger was just okay though - it broke apart too easily and the texture was a bit off.

I was excited about Veggie Grill opening nearby. They have great sandwich options. Sadly, they don't put as much effort into preparation as they do their menu. The food was poorly prepared. All dishes were cold. The children's dish had absolutely no flavor. There seems to be heavy reliance on oils.
Read moreLastly, the prices are a bit high, especially considering the lack of effort in the kitchen. Still very glad to see Veg*n options appearing mainstream. Hope they focus more on quality, as opposed to speed (fast food model)
Update: Years later, came back to say the food preparation has improved. But, the children's menu is still poor.

Glad that it is all vegan but I wish there was healthier/ whole food options that weren’t just salad bowls and oil free meals. The beyond burger is expensive but tastes good, fries are extra but the burger is already more than $10.. I didn’t like the mac n cheese. The broccoli is delicious. The lux burger is good. The taco bowl is good. The cookies and brownies are good. Love the lemonade. The mashed potatoes are good. The crispy chick’n burger is ok.

Deducted a star because both times we visited Carlsbad location, to DINE IN, the cashier tried to give us a single use plastic cup..(they have reusable cups). I’m not sure if the plastic ones are compostable/biodegradable? It just doesn’t make sense to hand on single use cups when customers are dining in. Seems wasteful and expensive....
