Few options, but they are good

The portions were really big and everything was really good! Only about 4- options at most. I would definitely come back and try the others. I wish the cauliflower was crispier too

Big portions

Good place to go if you‘re really hungry. They have a few vegan options including ramen or bang bang cauliflower.

Pros: Big portions, Warm dishes

Cons: Ambiente could be nicer

Not bad - few vegan options!

Couple of vegan options, clearly marked. Vegan ramen was alright, nothing to rave about.

Solid vegan ramen option

Perfect for a cold day and even had a bit of a kick of spice.

Gut

Gutes Essen. Wer hier herkommt, weiß er/sie bekommt. Leider eine andere Karte als in Europa.
Schöne Sitzplätze im Freien.

delicious & satisfying

Sooo good! I wish they had more vegan options as there are tons of non-vegan options but the food was very hearty and satisfying. I would recommend the #23 udon noodles and tofu soup. Prices not too bad for Boston area

Pros: satisfying , delicious , not too expensive

Cons: not many vegan options , a little skimpy on certain parts of food

Okay…

The service wasn’t very organized - issues catering to my gluten allergic partner (brought him a dish way earlier than mine, with gluten in it that he had a few bites of). We were also seated by the entrance with the doors open on a cold day when I was hoping to go somewhere to warm up😡otherwise the food was good! I got the Avant-gard’n bowl.
Edit: now that I see other reviews it looks like they forgot the carrot in my bowl

Vegan friendly

I ordered the Avant Gard’n and it is a crazy delicious bowl - barbecue seitan dish and a fake egg made with coconut, surprisingly good! They are very accommodating to make yakisoba and other dishes vegan if we like. Good selection of beverages, juices and teas. Service is painfully slow.

Very veg-head friendly

Lots of options and they are yummy. Convenient downtown location. Portion size is just right (not too big but can be shared). But they forgot the dressing on my entree salad so it was bland…this suggests they are rushed.

Good food but long wait

Has several vegan options. I tried the vegan katsu curry. The curry was delicious, and the fried breaded sweet potato katsu was nice as well. Good, fluffy rice. We did have to wait a long time to be seated and even longer to order, but the food was good enough that I'm glad we didn't give up.

Got forgotten about for 30 minutes.

Maybe the food would have been good but I’ll never know

Somewhat disappointed

I have been looking forward to trying the Avant Gard'n for a while. The bowl was OK. The Seitan was good, but way too spicy. The egg: coconut fat hot sauce. The whole bowl would be great if it were somewhat milder. My husband had the vegan curried soup with Udon - it was spicy and bland at the same time.

Pros: Friendly staff, Portion size

Cons: Avant Gard'n too hot/spicy, Soup: somewhat bland, Spicy alone doesn't do the trick!

Tofu Udon

A few dedicated vegan options to choose from. I got the Kare Burosu which is a delicious udon in a spiced broth. It was a huge bowl, really filling.
Also, they had good cocktails!

Yay!!!

This place really hit the spot on our vacation! I loved the avant gard'n. One thing to note is that the egg does not taste like an egg, it's very sweet (I still really appreciate the effort!) My boyfriend got ramen and he loved it! Definitely a place to hit up!

Pros: Vegan friendly, Sake

Good, healthy, quick

My son had the vegan egg. Said the white part was delicious but the yellow wasn’t good. Too sweet. The rest of the bowl was excellent. Good vegan options, a nice place to sit down in the hubbub.

Pros: Good options , Location

Vegan Menu

They had a decent vegan menu of appetizer and main courses. I had the pad thai and thought it was pretty good. It was a beautiful summer evening in Boston and I got to sit outside and listen to live music in Quincy Market, so I was very happy. Only disappointment was the lack of a vegan dessert.

I went to this place in the UK and the dish I had there was better. Menus were different.

Pros: Vegan menu

Cons: No vegan desserts

it was OK

I met two business prospects here because THEY suggested Wagamama (thinking I'd like the food).

Too many issues for a vegan, but they enjoyed the meal and joined my business unit.

Pros: Vegetarians and vegans can get food here, Other folks can feel that it's a neutral site, Staff seemed not to understand us

Cons: Too many issues for a vegan

Eh.

This is the Lynnfield location. The waiter didn't know what vegan meant. Which was ok, but once explained the options become very few. Then my dish came out with pieces of chicken mixed in. When I pointed it out the manager apologized and said the cook must have used the spatula that he uses for chicken. Would not take my chances here again.

Good!

Really liked this place. Nice ambience, with friendly staff. Centrally located in the quincy market. They have some other locations too which can be found on their website. Had veg potstickers and veg noodle soup which was very tasty. It had veggies, noodles, and tofu that seemed baked which made it extra delicicious. Was very happy they had whole wheat noodles so the food was even healthier. Wish there was one near me so i could go back.
