Great find on Utah 15 fwy
While on the way to Yellowstone, taking 15 Fwy in Northern Utah, we came across this neat cafe with vegan food! It is located in old town Ogden - an unexpected place! The cafe's menu is not entirely vegan but they do offer vegan options. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about the vegan options. We ordered a smoothie (almond milk based), quinoa fruit salad, black pea soup, and a veggie sandwich (with almond cheese and Vegenese). The food was delicious and it costs around $28 (include tax) + a few bucks for tips. Aside from the food, the store has an yoga studio upstairs and a store front that sells unique gifts from around the world as well. After the lunch, we also took a stroll up/down the old town street and found other interesting shops (antique, eco-friendly products, clothes boutiques, art gallery, etc). This cafe is a must to come if you are traveling on 15 fwy in Utah, wanting good vegan/vegetarian friendly food.

Good food and atmosphere
Food can be vegetarian and/or vegan depending on what you ordered. Food is based on donation basis - Hare Krishna concept. It was a pretty good meal overall for both of us. We donated $15 for two people - common dollar value for gringos or "foreigners" here in non-Ecuadorean restaurants.

Veg-friendly & Awesome food & wonderful people
If you are looking for a place to stay in Loja, Ecuador, then consider Akemy Hosteria. Not only the hotel is designed beautifully with Japanese/Asian characteristics, but the food is also great! It was the first time that they made vegan food, so the owner, Chef Saul, personally custom-made delicious vegan food (sushi, salad, soup, rice/beans) for us. Surprisingly, the vegan sushi was the best that we ever had in a very long time! The food also had a taste of Japanese-Ecuadorean fusion, ie. mango sushi, miso-bean soup. Most importantly, Saul and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us. Overall, we are very happy with our experiences there and got to make new Ecuadorean friends!

Delicious food! But a bit hard to find. There's no store sign yet.

A delightful place to be at!
While visiting the volcano, we came by Cafe Ono 2 days in a row to have lunch. First of all, it's the only vegetarian place in the vicinity. Secondly, it's got super delicious vegan options. Lastly, what a delightful place to enjoy as you eat! You can sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy it's decorations. The staff and owner Ono are really really nice. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the area and what's happening. After lunch, we also enjoyed the art galleries and bought gifts/souvenirs; Hanging out with the goat Earnest was also fun - careful, he butts!
Would totally come back here again!

Address needs update
We were directed to the wrong address via google map/gps due to the wrong address. Spent $8 for taxi just to drive around and look for it. Big disappointment... Funny thing though, we passed by the Restaurant by accident that same night on another taxi! It was located on the street Luis Urdaneta. We are not too sure of the cross streets, but it is between Garcia Moreno and Avenida Quito . The best advice would be: look at the map of the streets and walk to find the restaurant!

Very tasty food!
We drove 25 miles to get to this location for Garden Sushi and we are not disappointed! Friendly service, ambient atmosphere, and most importantly, excellent vegan food! Strongly recommend the Dumpling, Truffle Mushroom Miso Soup and Sushi Sampler. Be prepared to pay $$ for the tasty food. Everything taste very fresh and a variety of veggies used in the dishes. Will definitely come back when we come to Maui again!

Indian restaurant with good vegan options
A good stop while on a roadtrip during holiday season. While most of the other HappyCow listed restaurants are closed, this one was opened on New Year's Eve. The owner and chef were very nice. There were good selections on the menu that can be made vegan. As requested, the food was also not too salty or spicy. We had vegan samosas, roti, okra and eggplant dishes, along with a bowl tomato soup. Good tastes!

Cool and hip atmosphere. Although that food came about 45min later after ordering, the yummy taste made up for the long wait. This happen on a week night.

Good tasty Mexican food!
First time we tried to have late dinner at Flaco's at 11:15pm and came to find out that kitchen was closed. The next day, we went back for lunch... Ordered taquito, taco, herache, corn dogs, and tamale. All very tasty, different from what the reviews said. The waiter Gabriel was very friendly and told us that lunch time was a 'new' thing for the past 2 months. Would definitely come back ago if we are in the area! FYI... Gabriel said that the kitchen closes between 11-12pm depending on the night.

Stopped by this restaurant to check it out.. Found out that now it went back being a vegetarian restaurant again! Lots of vegan option selections. Flavors were pretty good. 1-2 dishes were on the salty side. Order Chef's special if you want to try a variety of different flavors. We are glad that there's another Indian restaurant to choose from when in the area!

A good find in Rapid City!
Before we begin to roam around in Rapid City, we came here for lunch because we wanted Indian food and it had an outdoor sitting that we can sit with our dog. The menu had about 10+ items that are vegetarian but instead, we decided to have the lunch buffet ($9.99 per person). There were 4 out of 8 items that are vegan dishes. The food was delicious! The waiter was very friendly and pointed out the vegan food at the buffet for us. He even brought some food over for our dog! Overall, it's a good place to stop by if you are looking for good vegetarian and vegan options in Rapid city (which is hard to find!).

ok food but has vegan options
Friendly staff and good vegan options. We ordered: Falafel, hummus, Greek salad, white bean soup, French fries. Food tasted ok, not so much flavor except for the soup. Cheap pricing.
We are just grateful to find this place open when other ones listed on Happy Cow were closed. :)

Great vegan options here!
If you are craving for some good vegan baked goods after surfing or snorkeling, Kaya's is the place to come! Highly recommend this place. Out of whole shelf of displayed baked goods, 40% are vegan and gluten free. Others are vegetarian & gluten free pastries and salads. Along with the tasty treats, we also ordered a vegan sandwich and hot coco with almond milk. The vegan pastries are super delicious. Would totally come back here again if we are close by!

yummy indian food
Yummy Indian food! We are glad that we have chosen this restaurant for dinner while staying in Aurora. It's a vegetarian restaurant but has plentiful of vegan options on the menu that are labeled "V" for vegan! We had the best veggie cutlet here and the curry dishes were very good too. Would definitely come again if we are in town.

fast service but expensive and not good quality food
Located in the back of the shopping center. Good atmosphere and fast friendly service. Menu/website says "all dishes can be made vegetarian"- this is deceiving. The word "vegetarian" in this restaurant includes fish and shrimp sauce. Thus, when specifically asked for vegan dishes, only several vegan options available. We ordered the yellow curry (only vegan curry) and Pad-see-Eww noodles along with Thai ice tea (with coconut milk) and a samosa appetizer. The bill at the end is $60 (including tip). Veggies provided in the curry and noodle dishes were limited. Overall, it's a disappointing and expensive experience.

Ok food, friendly staff
Came here for a dinner. Ordered panang curry, sweet/sour chickin, and fried rice. Everything tasted very salty which overpowered the rest of the tastes of dishes/veggies. Would like to try again sometime later & different dishes later. Staff is pretty nice and friendly. Total amount was expensive than the expected taste.
