All vegan all good - Edit

Great little shop for all vegan ice cream and cakes. Cakes are not my style but I'm very picky when it comes to them (I always end up preferring my own). Ice cream was very, very good. We had like 6 different sorts and they were all excellent.

Pros: Excellent all vegan ice cream, vegan cones

Cons: None

Delicious and huge selection - Edit

This place is the best! About 30 delicious and diverse flavours - everything we tried was great. Prices are completely reasonable, service is friendly, everything is vegan, what more can you ask for?

Located on the A Metro line, it is also super easy to get to this place, so just go there!

Pros: Huge selection, All vegan flavours, Great prices

Cons: Can't cure cancer (yet)?

Unbelievable taste! - Edit

At first I was skeptical of the concept of using olive oil instead of, say, almond milk to get that classic gelato flavor. However, I can safely say this vegan gelato is the closest I've ever tasted to the real thing! Most other gelato stores with vegan options I've been to have used soy milk, which takes away from the flavor, but this place has really got the flavor down! For some flavors they also use coconut milk, which I believe helps with the consistency. I saw others talk about that issue in their reviews too, but honestly it's not a big deal for me if the ice cream is a little soft. If you're truly bothered by slightly runny ice cream then I'd recommend getting a cup - I got a 3 euro one and paired together a classic dark chocolate and vanilla. The 3 euro cup is actually good for three flavors, but I stuck to two. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that they do speak some English there, so if you don't speak Italian but you do speak English then that's not a problem! My non-vegan friends choose to frequent this place over other gelato stores so I can attest to it being a top-notch option for vegans and non-vegans alike! Definitely worth your penny!

Pros: Friendly staff, Accommodating for native English speakers, Best vegan gelato in terms of flavor

Cons: Ice cream may have slightly runny texture

Incredible - don't miss it! - Edit

This is one of those things that made me raise my eyebrows to start with and go: "what?! Olive oil gelato?" but once I tried it I was sold. You've got to taste it to believe it. They're experimental with their flavours, and the mild flavour of the olive oil allows them to really shine through and be much stronger than with regular milk. I tried black tea, baobab, goji and naranjilla. I could have easily returned every day.

Lots of vegan gelato options - Edit

We tried 5 of the flavors - pistachio, hazelnut, banana, peanut butter, and chocolate. They were mostly yummy, some better than others. We arrived around 8pm and many flavors we sold out, which was disappointing (we walked two miles in the rain just to try it!). The boy working was not very friendly (high school kid) and all the flavors are hidden behind stainless steel cases, which took away from the experience a bit.

We also bought two cookies, which were terrible - stick with the gelato!

It was big and clean with lots of seating.

Pros: lots of flavors, big and clean

Cons: location, bakery items, runs out of stock

Not bad but... - Edit

Great choice of creams. I went two times with my woman. I've tasted almonds, pine nuts and walnut and I loved them, while my woman ginger and mint chocolate, that found a "too soft and loose" consistency, probably for the use of olive oil.
But we will not return 'cause they adopt an italian certification (Vegan OK) that does not meet our ethical ideals, and we have decided to boycott.
---

Pros: originality, goodness, all products are vegan

Cons: consistence of creams, a certification we want boycott

All vegan gelateria - Edit

Exquisite

I went during my first day in Rome, will go again every day that I am in Rome, future visits included.

Had pistachio-dark chocolate-vanilla.

So many flavors that I will not be able to taste them all during my stay in Rome. Unless I go there all day every day for every meal that I'm going to eat. Which would be almost an option, so good.

all vegan gelateria - Edit

It's an all vegan gelateria. Is there anything more to say? We came twice and were in heaven. The first time we shared a cone with coffee and mint. The coffee was unbelievable. The second time we each got cups. I got the pistachio and rose water flavors. Dirk had three different flavors, all involving chocolate in some way. Delicious! And to cap it all off, we got an ice cream bar to share that was in the display case. Really nice and clean shop with friendly staff. Near the metro station. Definitely go!!!

Pros: all vegan gelateria, lots of flavors, nice shop

Amazing gelato! - Edit

This is incredible gelato. It is made with olive oil and it's dairy free. The pistachio is my favorite. I also loved the coffee flavor and the nonna lella. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Frederico.

Pros: free wifi, plenty of tables to sit and enjoy
