Amazing Brunch - Edit

My partner and I were visiting from NZ and thought we'd check it out since it was near our accommodation. I got the French toast stuffed with berries and mango and omg it was amazing! My partner got the Big Kaguna bagel which was equally as delicious. So stoked we checked it out!

Pros: All vegan, extremely delicious

Great vibe, great decor, decent food - Edit

What a great place to come, sit, and eat (inside or out). The patrons and staff were friendly and interesting. We were surrounded by dogs, parrots, and babies sitting at the outdoor tables. The wait staff was amazing.

We got the nachos - big enough to share for 2, making this a cheap place. They were tasty but very, very salty. We also got the chowder which was good but could use more mushroom and seaweed taste for that authentic "vegan chowder" flavor a la Isa Chandra Moskowitz.

Pros: Big portions, reasonable prices, Fun vegan junk food, Great place to sit

That's what I ordered, and it was sooooo good. Elvis musical on the tv, tiki decor, and fruity drinks.

SO GOOD! - Edit

You absolutely must try this place. Their food is mouth-watering good, and all vegan of course. I'd recommend their Pineapple radish wontons and their buffalo tempeh sandwich. Very friendly and attentive staff and medium/loud music plays in the background

Pros: food! , atmosphere

Cons: music can get loud

Really amazing food; funky atmosphere - Edit

Walking into No Bones is neat - we were taken aback by the funky tiki bar atmosphere. Definitely a cool date place.

We ordered two dishes - cauliflower wings and crab cakes. Both were truly unbelievable. Even the vegan ranch was impressive. Kudos to the chefs - they are magicians.

Pros: Delicious, Price is right, Cool vibe

Hour Long Wait but well worth it - Edit

This was awhile ago, don't even really remember the day of the week. There was an hour long wait for my party of 4 so we went across the street to Mississippi Studios, sat by the fire and drank some beer while we waited.
The people at No Bones were so kind! They gave us this huge table that normally needs to be reserved.
Anyways, the food was just mind blowing. I got the jackfruit nachos along with a couple of their deliciously creamy pina coladas!
A vegans tiki dream!

Pros: amazing food and drinks, great atmosphere

Cons: can have a long wait around weekend

Be prepared to spend $$ for a so-so experience. - Edit

My hubby and I stopped by at 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy. 3 servers behind the bar, and at least one on the floor. Once seated, we weren't helped right away, and once we did order drinks, it took a very long time for them to arrive. The $8 red blend wine was on the low side of a 6oz pour. The $6 beer was on the low side of 10oz. We had the tempeh kabobs ($12) which were fine and the nachos ($12). The nachos, a terrible value, were mainly a stack of fried corn strips drizzled with the house cashew cheese. The nachos didn't have much of any topping of the advertised corn and bean salsa and at least 1/2 the chips had no "cheese sauce" on them. The meal's final cost for the two of us was $45, and we didn't see the value. Also, the manager/owner MUST address the greasy, slippery dining room floor. It's very slippery. When I asked why it was so slippery, I was told the oil was being tracked out from the kitchen. What is the floor like in the kitchen? Ugh!!

Pros: None that we could find

Cons: Slow service, Small wine and beer portions, Bare bones portions on food

Amazing food and fun atmosphere - Edit

Our food was soooo good. The eggplant spears are the best fried food I have ever had in my life. We got the Taro sandwich, pineapple soycurl lettuce wraps, and a cup of the oyster mushroom soup. Every dish was so flavorful, beautiful, and came out piping hot. The lightning is a little too dark with funky rad lighting to get a good photo of the food. Trust me, it's beautiful and colorful! Love!
Downside, our server never came to refill our water or check on us at all (it wasn't busy either) the cocktail was heavy on the ice low on the booze, and we found a red produce bag string in our sandwich. Gladly we didn't swallow the long string, the manager was kind and apologized though. :)
We would still love to come again because I'm sure all of the servers aren't as inattentive and I'm sure the string thing was just a freak accident. I look forward to coming back!

Pros: delicious food, good combo of healthy and junkier grub, atmosphere is top notch tiki nostalgia

Cons: kinda weak cocktails
