Not vegan friendly

It’s the type of place that “just leaves the cheese off” to veganize dishes and does not offer a worthy alternative. The pumpkin soup was nice but the tofu croquette in the set menu was replaced with a piece of bread. The pesto fettuccine was bland, the pasta itself had a nice bite. Rainbow quinoa is fine as a side salad to share but don’t expect much quinoa. Considering the other options in town I would mostly go here if you’re badly missing western food.

環境好

點了阿育吠陀點了香料飯,覺得普普,不夠香。環境不錯,令人舒適!

Pros: 菜單多樣化, 多樣素食類別

Cons: 香氣不足

Some really good kinda "European" dishes ;)

Our daughter got homesick, so we checked out this spot. Their pasta with veggies and self-made tomato sauce is really tasty. They use a very good olive oil (in my opinion). The pasta is egg-free. Really recommendable. More pricey than other spots in Taiwan but for this "special" food still totally fine especially as we it is a restaurant. - Has also a very nice interior!

Delicious food in a very elegant location

The restaurant is located in the center of Hengchun. The outside looks very simple, like a private house, but the ambience is very elegant and refined. Food is delicious. There are Western style pasta (fettuccine) and rice options, as well as different salads. Appetisers are fantastic. Desserts are very good too.
The staff is extremely kind. Highly recommended.

Pros: Menu in English

Great place

We came to this place after reading the good reviews on happy cow. The food was amazing and the staff nice and friendly. It is a bit expensive for taiwan tho (250NTD for a main dish.) I had the pumpkin risotto which was really really good.

Fabulous Place to Eat - a pure joy

This is a fabulous, stylish and comfortable restraunt. A pure joy to visit. The food is lovingly presented and delicious. The decor is tasteful and surprising. The service was friendly. The linked art gallery has lots of beautiful things including small items for travellers and is fun to browse. The restraunt is vegetarian but had no problem ordering vegan food.

Pros: Fabulous stylish, serene and comfortable setting. , Beautifully presented, delicious food, Friendly service and good English language.

Cons: Nothing

Fresh in stylish ambience

Chic restaurant, lovely English speaking personnel, menu of the day recommended!
For the Indian spiced curry you gotta like cloves, everything else was perfect!

Cons: 350 for the day menu, for Taiwan quite expensive

Gave me non-vegan food after checking so many times

Although the food here was tasty, it was ruined by the fact that my sandwich still ended up with sour cream in it. The lady who served is was nice, and I explained that I was vegan, what I ate and didn’t ate, and she said that anything I chose could be made vegan. After ordering, and checking when she ordered, the sandwich arrived. It looked as though it had mayonnaise in it, so I asked her if it did, and she said no, and so I said ‘definitely no egg, milk etc...’ and she assured me it was fine, so I continued eating. Then she came back over and said ‘yes don’t worry the sauce is just sour cream’ and I pointed out that usually sour cream has milk in it, and she assured me it didn’t, until after a couple of rounds of this she rushed off to come to the conclusion that it did and she was so sorry. They replaced the sandwich, and gave me a mini salad as a ‘sorry’, but of course I’d rather just not have the salad or the apologies!

Just annoying because I checked so many times and was assured in almost perfect English that it was fine. Overall nice food, but portions were small for the price.

Tasty!

Came through this town after visiting KenTing. If you are looking for a place, besides regular Taiwanese vegetarian buffet, then you have got to come here!

Pros: Plenty of vegan options , Not too expensive, Artsy atmosphere

A hidden gem

Excellent food, dedicated staff, tasefully decorated. Our dinner was so good that we ordered take-away for next day's lunch on the spot. Really a hidden gem in the Hengchun old city.
