I’ve been coming to Avo since 2017, when they were located across the street in a modified shipping container. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants, with a changing seasonal menu and some year round staples like their avocado chocolate tart. The avocado chocolate tart is the besttttt and has stayed consistently good all these years. I liked the menu better when they were in the shipping container. Then the first time I visited at the new location they were doing a tapas style menu, and I honestly hated it- everything was fried and not very good. The menu has changed again and it isn’t tapas-style anymore, and the food has gotten better again. I just went today (June 2026) and we tried a big chunk of the menu since we were in a big group. The best item we tried was the cacio e pepe, and the worst that no one really liked was the tofu katsu.

So glad I came. I’ve been here before on previous visits to Nashville. I ordered the trio lunch special. Great choices in each category. Plus I ordered the half size cauliflower wings. Sauces and dressings on the side. Glad I came. Free 2-hour parking across the street behind the container stores.

Lots of options on this updated menu. Mac’n’cheese side was best I’ve had since going vegan and I really enjoyed the kale Caesar salad - great flavor and filling. Had a piece of strawberry cheesecake that had amazing flavor and texture - unlike what I’ve had at other places that has the mouthfeel of room temp coconut oil. Only negative is for their crab cakes. Tasted good but the texture wasn’t quite right - a bit underdone like a raw pancake.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr nette Location. Der Service ist super schnell und das Essen warm und ansprechend. Leider hören die positiven Aspekte da aus. Frühlingsrollen sind Sommerrollen. Das Kimchi ist roher Blattsalat. Das Essen hat versteckte Gewürze, die nicht nur nicht auf der Karte präsentiert werden sondern dazu auch des Essen leider nicht besonders lecker machen. Der Wein ist super!.😄Preis - Leistung ist für Nashville gut.

In Nashville for work and wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to find some decent vegan food. Was so happy when I came across AVO for lunch today. About a 15 minute Uber ride from downtown. Great selection I had the mushroom euro very tasty but the lemon crème brûlée was incredible! Staff was professionally, had a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back here the next time in town.

The restaurant is super cute, and decked out with plants and cool lighting. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. The food is all fresh and delicious. We had several tapas: spring rolls, lemon pepper oyster mushrooms, beet tartar, and gochujang cauliflower wings. There is also a selection of delicious desserts. I had the vanilla rainbow cake with some fresh coffee. I would have kept ordering, but I was going to implode. Definitely going back!

I haven't been to Avo in person yet, but my friend gets me desserts and food from there occasionally, and everything has been amazing! The desserts have got to be some of the best vegan desserts I've ever had. I would highly recommend.
