I love Virtuous Pie - Edit

Virtuous is an will always be one of my fave restaurants of all time! I love the location back home, so I had to check out the one in Portland on a recent trip!
Just as delicious as back home and didn't disappoint:) My personal favourites are the Meatball and Chèvre and the Grandma Pie, the Margherita is also great for the picky eater in your group.
I LOVE their almond parm! And they even sell it in their Portland location. I'd put that sh** on everything, especially the pizza!
Their ice-cream is also delicious, although I wasn't a huge fan of the Pastry Party flavour that I tried a sample of. The Matcha Coconut though is great!
I couldn't find the bathroom in the location though, which was a little strange. Although I didn't ask if there was one elsewhere for customers to use. Overall love this place!

Pros: Spacious, funky atmosphere, Friendly staff, Delicious vegan love

Cons: Where's the bathroom?

suspicious ice cream - Edit

I have been to this place twice. And over all I really like it. The pizza is creative and fun, lots of gluten free options! The ice cream is so yummy there is even amazing gluten free cones. The second time we went we asked about soy free ice cream and were assured “it is all gluten and soy free” the woman helping us didn’t even hesitate. The first time we went the woman helping us checked to make sure the ones she offered were soy free. I accepted this as truth, however a short time later I broke out the way I do when exposed to soy. :( I am happy they offer a selection if vegan foods but disappointed about the misinformation of allergens. If you have allergies insist they check the ingredients list.

Pros: yummy pizza, ice cream

Cons: poor service

Everything I love in one place - Edit

Virtuous Pie does not only make my favorite vegan pizza, but their salads, ice cream, coffee drinks, and beer/kombucha selection are all similarly amazing. I really can't recommend the place strongly enough. I especially enjoy the lavender ice cream and any pizza of theirs with big dollops of ricotta.

Pros: affordable, unique

First Happy Cow Experience - Edit

Glad to be able to find this vegan delight! We wouldn’t have known it was class to us. A friend had raves about it and when we used the app we discovered we were less than 3 miles from the Division location. We ate dessert first while we waited for the pizzas and thought it was amazing. The pizzas had great crusts & sauce & flavor with a variety for everyone, even gluten free! We will be back and bring friends.

Pros: Outdoor covered seating and adult beverages. frien, other shopping/dining experiences within immediate

Expensive as hell - Edit

Good selection of toppings and icecream flavours. The inside is decorated really nicely!! The staff was nice but the pizzas were so expensive!! And the icecream even more!! I got a basic margarita pizza but there was next to no cheese on it and the sauce dried up in minutes. It tasted good though and the place was pretty busy.

Pros: Good selection, Vegan, Nice decoration

Cons: Expensive , Little cheese on pizza, Sauce dried up

I'll give it another try - Edit

First time there. Hubby and I ordered 2 different pizzas to go. We were told at check out it'd be about 20 minutes, we left an hour later....a gal came to us and apologized after another woman that had been there before us inquired about her order. Somehow they became extremely backed up. All said and done, I'll give it another try however come all the way home to find they FORGOT to put the mozzarella cheese on my pizza :(.

Best. Pizza. EVA - Edit

I'm a vegan pizza fiend, and this is my favorite vegan pizza joint on the planet. They make their own cheeses and omg it's so good. Such a fun atmosphere. Love the bubbles drink option. My favorite pie of the four I've tried is the Kim Jack. I haven't even had the ice cream yet but plan to!

Pros: Homemade vegan cheeses, Original toppings, Great atmosphere

Best vegan pizza & ice cream in PDX - Edit

Double Stoked because with the PDX opening of virtuous Pie, came the shiny, heaven-sent gift of TWO of my favorite things in the universe. Hot pizza with fresh veggies & lavender ice cream made in-house.
The fiery oven cooks your pie fast and they have a super clean open kitchen so you can see that everything is kept immaculate, transparent, and fresh. The options are all unique, and their mozzarella is out of this world.
I have worked as a vegan cheese maker and am blown away by it and their grateable Parmesan.
The space is bright and airy, the food is perfection, and the people are friendly.
My only is suggestion is moving the big menu, or having handheld menus because to look at the menu, you have to look inches above the seated people at a long table eating their food. So these people kept making awkward eye contact with me when I was trying to make a decision lol. That might not make everyone uncozy, I actually had a laugh but I would rather not have a table in between me and the menu!

Amazing! - Edit

We had the Kim Jack and the Margherita pizzas. My favorite was the Kim Jack. The Jack fruit was deliciously prepared and the cashew mozzarella was perfect! This pizza can stand up against any other pizza vegan or not! The service was also superb. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Delicious Pizza and ice cream - Edit

Was able to grab two pizzas and two ice cream flights to share last night. We got the MEATBALL + CHEVRE which is
San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Baerlic Brewing Chorizo Meatballs, Creamed Spinach, Lemon Herb Chevre, Basil, Fresh Parm and the SUPERFUNGHI which is Cashew Mozzarella, Herbed Potatoes, Wild Mushrooms, Truffle Almond Ricotta, Rocket. DELICIOUS. 10 inch pies that are ready quickly due to their open pizza oven. Taste was superb and the crust is nice and thin and has a slight crisp to it which I love. After, we had to have two ice cream flights, I mean c'mon it's made there so we had to imbibe. We tried the following: Salted Caramel Double Chocolate, Charcoal Banana Coconut (it's black!), Marionberry Cheesecake, Coffee + Donuts, Turmeric + Black Pepper and Mint + Dark Chocolate. Really good ice cream and I highly recommend the flights to share with others. Staff was SO friendly and the owner was there working on recipes/etc. Very cool vibe. There's a little seating area upstairs. Great pizza and ice cream and so happy to have them in Portland.

Pros: Delicious, Friendly, All vegan

Cons: It's gonna get busy!
