We had an amazing vegan breakfast here. The vegan French toast was out of this world! Atmosphere was also very peaceful and nice, and everyone that worked there was kind beyond belief. Highly recommend!

I got tofu curry -- totally delicious. Also got an order of naan bread. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, so this became a second, just as delicious meal later. The atmosphere was calm and comforting. I ordered chai and should have specified almond milk because the coconut milk had the wrong flavor profile, as they would say on cooking shows. That was not the fault of RD, but of me.

We drove to Mt. Piños and got to see the snow and go for a beautiful hike through the forest and then came to The Red Dot to check out their menu and vibe and we are impressed!

If you find yourself at this place you MUST get the pakora. Omg it’s so good! Most things can be made vegan and there’s lots of gluten free options. I also had the savory pancake and coconut curry. The service was great, we were even given some fresh bananas at the end to “hold us over” how sweet! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing which is great because the food does take some time (totally worth it though!)

We’re staying in the area & loved spending the afternoon here enjoying absolutely delicious food! Everything is freshly prepared and there is so much love & intention put into every dish! Food does take a while (we enjoyed the slow meal!), but if you’re in a rush, call in your order. Nearly the whole menu can be made vegan. We loved everything we ordered. Favorites were the pakoras & the Mediterranean plate. So good! All the people working there were so friendly & helpful too! We’ll be back many more times!

In the food wasteland surrounding Interstate 5 just 3 miles off of it is the Red Dot. Very nice vibe, excellent food, service and Huge Menu BLD. You can’t be in a rush when you go there. I asked for a take away box and they gave me a lovely herbal ice tea for the road! Check it out!!😀

I ordered the Ancient Grains Kitchari. It definitely was delicious, authentic tasting Indian food. Out of the mild, medium, and hot, I got the medium and (maybe because I'm a baby) the medium was pretty spicy. They have so many different options here you will get lost in the choices. Anything from pizzas to Indian food to Mediterranean food. It's about 3 ½ miles off the I-5. There was only one person in front of me and they got my food to me within 10 minutes. I have no complaints so far. Oh yeah, my food was $16 but it was a really big portion size.

I was the only customer in there and once I ordered, my food took about 20 minutes to come out. I wasn't very impressed with what came out. The flavor was mediocre and somewhat bland and honestly, for how long I had to wait, I was really disappointed. It also had some sort of weird chutney that I didn't care too much for. I brought my original 5 star down to 4 because of this experience. Maybe it was just the item I ordered but it wasn't that good.

Me and my wife found this place on Happy Cow and we loved the food and service so much that we called them to tell them how good the food was since we got it to go. Hoping to go back next time we're in town. Had the shawarma, gyro (request vegan) and pakora was excellent and great vegan food! Long wait but so worth it!

We stumbled upon this little oasis of a place while driving through the 5 fwy. We were hungry and this was the only spot in the area that was veg and was not too far off the fwy.
Read moreUpon arriving to the location it was much more than we expected. They had a pleasant atmosphere with a nice patio area for dining.
We had originally called in our order in advance but decided to sit down in the patio since the vibe was peaceful and nice and we were greeted with welcoming energy and smiles.
We ordered the pad thai and my first impression was the food was created with intention and freshness. It was definitely a unique take on pad thai and was delicious in flavor and ingredients. I really liked the addition of fresh nappa cabbage and fresh sprouts that brought a nice crunch to the dish. For a treat we got the oat and apple spiced cookies. They were fresh and really delicious. One of the staff gifted us with some bananas for our travels back on the road which was a cool and friendly gesture.
If you’re in the area or passing through I highly recommend checking out this community space and kitchen. They make their food fresh to order so it may take some time but you could always call your order in advance.
I look forward to stopping by here in the future and explore the menu some more.

Wonderful Food, Hidden Gem! - Edit
Food was wonderful and fresh, the vibe here was kind and open-hearted, and service was the same. I was driving from LA to the Bay Area and found this hidden gem on Happy Cow. It’s not too far from the 5 freeway, which was another bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by how magical it felt just sitting down and not being rushed to leave.

I just so happened to get an AirbnB down the street from this place along my travels. My Airbnb host recommended it but informed me the food takes a really long time. He said it’s worth it. He was right! I was taking in the beautiful scenery so I didn’t mind. I got a Thai Iced Tea with coconut milk & boba, Pakora, and the Tofu Curry. The pakora appetizer was huuuuuuge. I barely made a dent in both of my dishes. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

We ordered the yellow curry and the fish & chips. The curry was solid and yummy. The chips were good. The fish is the Gardein Fishless Filets though. I eat them all the time so I recognized them immediately. Awesome tartar sauce. There was no one else in the restaurant but our food took 40 mins. Convenient stop off I5.

Loooved this gem of a find! Seriously the best food. From Thai, Indian, Mediterranean and Mexican you will be impressed at the selection and deliciousness of this vegan gem. An outstanding meal all prepared when ordered. A beautiful spot with excellent decorations. Menu can please for all. That being said, it took a very long time. My girlfriend ordered the most complicated dish on the menu and it came out 20 minutes after my food. Not the biggest deal but what was originally a "pit-stop" on a long drive became an hour long experience. Would go again though. Food was delicious.
