Probably my favorite restaurant in Portland
The restaurant is really nice. Huge improvement from the shared space with a yoga studio. The food is bit more pricey then it was, but it's consistently creative, healthy, high quality, and delicious. I love that they have multiple raw options. The raw sampler platter and the live fudge are amazing. The Sunday brunch is also great.

I love this place
Bayleaf is very vegan friendly and the staff is friendly and prompt. The asparagus soup, lo mein, and anything with tofu is great. Nice dining atmosphere and the food is well presented.

Try the vegan coconut mango drink!
The vegan coconut mango drink is delicious. It is hard to have just one. The food is good but not great and there are not that many vegan options. Sometimes the lunch special is vegan and that is very good value for $5.00. I go just for the vegan coconut mango drink and some samosas.

Cheap and healthy
I like to pick up a bowl every so often. It's good, it's healthy, it's cheap. Lately they have also had a side salad available, and it's right next to a vegan smoothie cart.

The smoothies are good. They have a variety of fruit and liquid options you can chose from, I just wish the fruit was organic.

Red and Black reopens with a vegan menu
I was very pleased with my experience at the Red and Black Cafe this time. They have new staff members and a vegan menu and vegan baked goods. The only dairy seems to be for the drinks. The prices are still reasonable and we got our food almost immediately even though it was busy. I like the tempeh BLT and the dragon noodles and the Mediterranean snack.

Cheap and tasty!
The tacos are simple, tasty, and creative. The tortillas are hand made. You can pick exactly what you want on your tacos. The sauces are really good. Two or three tacos are pretty filling, so it ends up being a cheap lunch.

Great lunch buffett
I love the weekday lunch buffet. It's only $7.00 for all you can eat spring rolls, chow mien, tempura, soup, fried rice and other food that changes everyday. It is the best!
They have an extensive menu and they have both cheap options ($6.50) and more expensive options ($15) so you chose how much to spend. Portion sizes are good for all of the main dishes. Our favorites are the chicken fried rice, chow mien, hush puppies, curry chicken, wonton soup, and kung pao tofu.

Smells like dead fish
Really, it reeks of dead fish. They have an amazing selection of hard to find veggies and a huge selection of Asian food and mock meats (most are not vegan though), but it's hard for me to physically be in the store. I go once or twice a year and rush through holding my breath.

They can't replace Blossoming Lotus, but decent
When they first opened I was pretty disappointed. No vegan pastries, lots of stuff I couldn't eat, some of Blossoming Lotus' old menu items but not as good. They've gotten a lot more vegan-friendly. Now all pastries are vegan and most of the food is too. Some things still have honey and butter. I really wish they would make vegan strawberry lemon aid. The salads and wraps are good, the parfait is awesome! If you are in area, you should come here and try it out.

Vegan, organic, and delicious
Great vegan smoothies and juices. You can get healthy options with fruit and greens or more junk food options, with cookies and ice cream. I love Sip, especially on a hot day.
