Bowl and Burrito

The truck was at the Vegan Night Market in Portland. I ordered the Protein Bowl (quinoa, chickpeas, seasoned tempeh, basil, tomato, lemon, cucumber, and green goddess sauce) and the Tempeh Burrito (rice, chickpeas, seasoned tempeh, avocado, cilantro, mixed greens, and cashew cheese sauce). Both were healthful and flavorful.

Pros: all vegan, organic, healthful, low waste

Amazing food/setting (closed for season?)

Pretty much was sold on this place by the photos before I even came here, and it did not disappoint (unlike other places )

I’m just sad it’s not open in winter season

Just the best!

We're so glad that we dined here! The food was incredible, and the person that attended to us was just so nice and clearly has a passion for the food, even making the wraps by hand each morning. We're so glad to support establishments like this! Go if in Eugene! I only thought to take a photo after devouring my burrito!

They're Open

So happy that Peaceful Palate is open again. Scrumptious organic food with good portions and fanciful flavors. The burgers are not your traditional burger size but don't let that stop ordering one!!

Good eats

Ordered the smoky burrito, which came in an interesting "tortilla" wrapper. It was delicious and prepared quickly even with a queue before me. So much more than a veg burrito with white rice and black beans like you get from another joint. It's nice to see (figuratively and literally) more varried ingredients in takeout food.

Just plain delicious

The oat burger is so savory, and comes topped with healthy fresh ingredients and with a tasty salad. I had been planning to enjoy it in my car, but found out that Peaceful Palate's patrons are welcome to enjoy their meal at the wonderful chocolate-focused cafe (Epic Elixirs) that is right next to where the truck is parked.

Pros: Fresh healthy food, Friendly staff, Right next to a fun cafe to eat inside

Delicious, Feel Good Food

As a newer vegan it is hard to find 100% vegan restaurants in a smaller city. I was so happy to come across this awesome food cart on the Happy Cow App. The glowing reviews were true. I had a delicious meal made with fresh and healthy plant based ingredients. It feels so good to have a meal and to walk away feeling good both physically and emotionally. I will definitely be back.

Delicious, Nutritious, Affordable.

One of the best vegan spots in Oregon.

I got the Tofu scramble with added Tempeh and a side of sweet potato fries for $13. The serving size is quite large.

Both dishes came with tasty cashew cheeze sauce (though a bit too much sauce for my liking - this is the only minor negative of my experience here).

The man at the truck was very kind and helpful, and suggested I sit in the nearby coffee shop to eat the food (coffee shop has vegan options of its own, and wonderful drinking chocolate).

Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Affordable

Healthiest Vegan Fare in Eugene!

I love love love Chasen and all of his delicious vegan delights! He’s an incredible cook, utilizes so many spices, and truly prepares your food with L🧡VE! Great spot to get whole food, low-fat (aka not drenched in oil) vegan goodness! If I could steal him and make him my personal chef, I would! Do yourself a favor and go support this incredible human on his mission to feed the people of Eugene healthy & AFFORDABLE vegan fare!

Such a Delicious Find!

How did I not know about this treasure? What a wonderful hidden gem! I've passed it dozens of times, but no sign on the street indicated the name of the truck or that it was all vegan. I ordered the BLT made with the most delectable marinated tempeh I've ever had--the heavenly aroma was absolutely mouthwatering! I don't know how I made it home without pulling my car along the side of the road to take a bite. I've since been bake and enjoyed the collard wrap and tofu scramble. All are equally delicious and made with love.

Pricey, but delicious

For a family of 6 it gets a little pricey for us to eat here, but it’s one of mine and my husbands favorite mid day date spots.

Pros: Good flavors, Unusual choices

Cons: Only outside seating, Sometimes are out of what you want

Clean fuel

Got the tofu scramble and morning smoothie. Both were really tasty. Highly recommend this place for both its welcomeness and food. The cook is a cool dude with adventure stories to share. Check then out.

Holding it down for the mission!

My man Chasen has it all going on here. His choice of dishes is unique and his grasp of flavors is outstanding.
Also, he’s the smartest person in the world when it comes to veganism and good justice. I learn something new about food systems every time I go there, which is not often enough.
Chasen has put a lot of care into this business. He even got an old forest service truck and renovated it for the Palate.
It’s a bit out of the way, but 300% worth a visit if you enjoy delicious vegan food and a warm smile.
Also he sells dog treats now which is pretty rad

Delicious!

Three words. Sweet Potato Fries!! I couldn’t stop eating them!!
The food is delicious and fresh and healthy- perfect combination. I also love the low impact this biz has on our environment- everything is compostable.
Definitely worth a stop to get a great smoothie, scramble or wrap- and don’t forget the oven baked Fries!
