Wow. This place is amazing. The Cesar salad is something I will dream about for my entire life. Hands down the best vegan Cesar salad I’ve ever had. Jackfruit melt and Mac salad also AMAZING. Everyone working was so friendly. Portions were huge, we got two meals out of them. I loved this little spot and I’m sad I live an ocean away from it.

soo many good options, it was hard to choose!! all the food was delicious, wish we could of chose more things but i guess that means we have to come back. i wanna try the mushroom risotto and the cheeseburger pizza. we ordered the mocko loco which was good, amazing artichoke spinach dip, delicious smoothie, but the pizza could have been more like a pizza. its hard to explain

The made-from-scratch food is incredible! I am vegan and my partner is not and he was blown away by everything. We had Moko Loco, Lasagna Roll, the Dyl Pickel Popper and Cesar Salad. The owners are a sweet couple who chatted with us and were lovely. Thank goodness for places like this!

Came here with my family of 10 because my wife is vegan, so she picked this place. There wasn’t a sad taste bud in the family. The cauliflower wings were perfectly breaded, the sauce was unreal. The fried pickles will make you fly back from the mainland for them alone. The gyro could feed 4 by itself. Treated myself with the funnel cake. It felt like I was back at the carnivals when I was child. That vegan whip cream about made me move to Oahu. The service? I felt like I was at my favorite aunt and uncles house just cookin’ me up their hall of fame plates, one after the other. If there is a place to choose on this whole island it is this! Don’t make the mistake of skipping over this restaurant. Come here, treat yourself, and get to it as fast as you can! However you get here by boat by plane by car just get here!

Best Caesar Salad I've Ever Had - Edit
Second time eating here and I'm already looking forward to the next! The caesar salad is my absolute favorite! Generously coated in dressing (my ideal) but my partner did say he could have done with just a bit less dressing—to each their own 🤷♀️.
Read moreWe ordered a large caesar to share, crabby cakes, and the potato hash. Everything was tasty but the caesar will always have my heart! For those familiar with Veggie Grill on the mainland, it's similar, but WAY better, in my opinion!
I had the crabby cakes and I do think I enjoyed them. I'm a little uncertain as I'm just getting over being quite sick and am still not able to fully taste things. I've never had crab before so I can't speak to how similar it tastes to the real thing, but I do think most people would enjoy. The crispiness on the outside was especially nice!
Will be back again soon for this delicious salad!! Finding a vegan casear on O'ahu isn't the most heard of so I'm really over the moon this place exists! 🤩

Everything we ate here was so delicious! The photos don't do it justice. This is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time and definitely the best (vegan) food on Oahu. Delicious for the whole family. Can't wait to go again.

We split the Tofu and the Sweet Potato wraps and loved them both! Crunchy on the outside, stuffed full of veggies and creamy home-made sauces. Just yum! And then, the strawberry funnel cake.... wow!, and reminiscent of past country fairs. Do not miss dining here when visiting or passing through Haleiwa!!!

Best VEGAN restaurant on the Island! - Edit
I went to 9th Island Vegan today and it was truly 10/10. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is an absolute must-try. The portions were generous, everything was incredibly fresh, and you could really taste that it was all homemade. I couldn’t have been happier with both the meal and the service.

There were so many great options that I wish I had tried more. The owner was there as well and was fantastic- welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about what she does. An all-around great place that I’ll definitely be back to.

Vegan spot! Must’ve caught em on a bad day - Edit
We saw this place was rated high and had good rating for good vegan food. We made sure to stop by and we conclude the food was good but that with the service and ambience I’ve have better.
Read moreThe lady was nice taking our order, but very forgetful… she forgot to bring us water we asked for, yet we saw her bring water outside to others, and never brought us utensils when she brought out our food. We also ordered cheesecake that was never brought out….. well our dumbasses completely forgot because we got time crunched to head back to other side of the island for other plans.
So mostly due to our experience on such a highly rated place, I can only give 2 stars. To go out of our way just to come here, pricier vegan food, spending over $40 for a sammich and a smoothie (bc we got jipt on our cheesecake), and for the fact this place was pretty darn empty to not be on top of operating and customer service…it was disappointing.

Wonderful - absolutely delicious vegan loco moco - Edit
This is truly a mom and pop operation. Saudia, her husband and son have created an incredibly warm, inviting, marvelous and creative vegan restaurant. The vegan loco moco with the homemade gravy was to die for, and the lion's mane mushroom dishes were amazing - the tastiest mushroom preparation I've ever had (I believe she said charred, marinated and recharred). Don't miss 9th Island Vegan if you are in or near North Shore.

Visiting from Australia, on a road trip around Oahu we planned our stopover around 9th island - and it was totally worth it. The food is delicious and the owners are delightful, warm and welcoming. The lasagne roll and the Caesar salad were incredible, generous portions and amazing flavours. Our search for vegan funnel cake ended here - it came loaded with whipped cream and berries and was a triumph! We left full and happy, and with tips on places to visit and see wildlife. 11/10 - do it!
