Great food-vegan except honey

17 Mar 2014

I have eaten at 2 Mothers several times and each time I have loved what I ate. Very healthy food. They just announced they won't serve local cheese (which was only an option on their vegan pizza) so they are vegan except they do use honey in some drinks. Always ask in advance if you don't want honey. I have not seen them serve meat at all. It's a must try for vegans and non-vegans alike.

LOVE it!!

My husband (vegetarian), son (4 years old carnivore) and I have eaten at Darbster 3 times. I have actually went there 2 other times but they were closed (Monday and Tuesday). We have loved everything we ate. Even my non-vegetarian mom liked her meal. My non-vegan son is in love with the restaurant too. He loved the mac and cheese and chicken strips and fries. Of course he likes the brownies because "they are vegan and vegan means healthy" LOL! HIGHLY suggest this restaurant to vegans and non-vegans.

LOTS of opptions for Vegetarians and Vegans

After learning about JuiceBerry on this site I visited them for a juice. They have LOTS of juice and smoothie options. They have a huge menu for lunch including vegan items. The breakfast is more limited. They have oatmeal, bagels... They also serve organic tofu. They have gluten free options (bread, wraps and energy bars). I sampled 2 soups and they were amazing. I am going back for lunch! This is the only place like this around! Great for everyone!!

Lots of Delicious Vegan Options

I have been going to Tandoor Hut 1-2 times a week for a year and love it! The staff can easily tell me what is vegan and what has dairy in it. Their lunch and dinner specials are served from their "hot table" (like a buffet). One side is meat one side is without meat. For lunch you can choose 3 dishes, rice and Naan. I am gluten free so I haven't asked if the naan has dairy. I just get extra rice instead of naan. There are always 3 -4 different vegan dishes I can choose from for lunch. You can also order off the menu. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I have eaten a lot of Indian food from New Jersey, Florida and Naperville and this is probably my favorite of all the restaurants I have tried.
