R da Granada, 126, Lagoa Nova, Natal, Brazil
We were in Brazil for the World Cup and, after struggling with rice and beans at every meal (one day the beans are vegan, the next day they bring them out with huge chunks of meat...), we found this little slice of heaven. The cab had a hard time finding this and, yes, it is in a little house with no sign. But the food was AMAZING. I got two huge plates of food, including these awesome soy meat balls. I even got a meal to go for dinner and my wife had lunch as well. It is pay per kilo and I paid R36 for the entire thing and two desserts. Nicest people ever too. I can't stress enough how great this is and well worth a visit!
291/2 Vo Van Tan St, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Compared to all the places we ate in Vietnam, this was a little more expensive but still only $10 for 4 entrees and 2 fruit juices. Food was incredible and big portions compared to others. Green tea fried rice and wonton soup were fantastic. Highly recommend!

We went for lunch one day and it was extremely hot outside. No a/c and fans do nothing. We poured sweat the whole time. One staff spoke a little English but others did not (which is okay, just letting it be known). They were out of pho and the food was just okay. Fairly bland. Dirty place though. Bathroom is disgusting. Workers using the hose on the toilet to wash their feet and legs in the bathroom so the floor was soaking wet. If it were cleaner, I'd give it 3-4 stars. I wish I could give it 1 star. We ate at many better vegan places in Hanoi. I also don't usually care about the look of a place. I like authentic places but this place was gross.
Rua Xavier da Silveira, 28, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Pretty Good In Copacabana!
Liked this place. Very small in area with lots of seating (crammed a little) but a nice atmosphere. Food was great and clearly labeled vegan, gluten free, and just veg. I ordered a vegan item and they brought me cheese on the side, which always bothers me. Food was good though.

Not my thing...
First, if you're liking for it off the metro, go to the Henry IV exit to the street. It's 40 yards away. The place was small and had no menu, just a few things to choose from for lunch. While very healthy, I prefer more protein (tofu, seitan). Was a bit expensive for what we got, but still I line with Paris prices. Two workers (assuming owners?) were great, especially the guy. Fantastic service and friendliness were certainly there. Wouldn't go back but worth a visit once to mix it up! It was busy at 3:00 in the afternoon...
Rua Arsenio Calaca 102, San Martin, Recife, Brazil
REALLY, REALLY GOOD
Loved this place. The inside is amazingly nice and the buffet was great with lots of choices. Less than half is vegan but it is clearly labeled with green stickers. No vegan dessert when I was there. And not expensive either. I will say that my high ratings are compared to any other options you will find in most cities in Brazil. After 16 days of struggling mostly, this place was a welcome find. Wouldn't eat there once a week if it was in my hometown, but it was decent. Gets fours stars with all of that in mind.

INCREDIBLE hole in the wall
Not super easy to find but a local helped us, after trying to get us to go in her shop for 20 minutes. Definitely a hole in the wall. No one spoke English. Menu on the wall had 6 dishes and listed in English. We chose pho and chicken fried rice. Both were out. So we got bun and something else. Both were excellent. I loved it. We sat at a table that was the door to the house and a girl was laying on bed, watching tv. It was very hot and the owner took a fan from inside to cool us off. 2 entrees, a soda, and a water were $3. Plan to go back before we leave!

Average but fully vegan is always good!
Went for lunch before 1:00 and they weren't serving hot food yet. Got a sanwich and soba noodle dish plus hummus appetizer. They were good but nothing to rave about. Tofu was thin and crispy, which was unique and a great texture.
240 Bui Vien, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Had a very bad experience here and may have rated higher if I had a different dish. However, I ordered 5 dishes before they actually had one they could make. He kept telling me, "finished" like they were out of it. We came at 6:30pm for dinner. No excuse. I was okay with it until we got our meals. Both my wife's and mine were the worst we had in over 2 weeks in Vietnam. I couldn't even eat it. We went off to another place to find something else to eat. Service was good and nice people but just hated the food. Bad experience.

Best in Bordeaux
Granted, every place we tried was closed earlier than stated, but we enjoyed the friendliness and food at Viva Las Vegans. Hot dogs were good. Sandwich was decent, above average. Worth an eat. Was only open 11:30am to 6:00pm while we were there a few days ago.

I went here a few months ago to eat with very high expectations. It's near my work and seemed amazing to be able to get that grub food that I love! I went with a friend for lunch and there were maybe 10 other people in the whole restaurant. I ordered the seitan wings and a seitan sandwich. It took an hour to get our food. No lies! With 10 other people there. And the wings were so overfriend, they were impossible to bite into and tasted burnt. The sandwich was much better and I ended up throwing away half of my food that cost about $25. Needless to say, I haven't been back. It's sad, truthfully. I would not recommend.
Rua Gustavo Sampaio 323 Loja A, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Found the only other review on here to be pretty far off from our experience. We went around 7pm one night from Copacabana Beach and found it very nice. The vegan burger was pretty decent by my standards and my wife had a little gluten free and vegan pizza that was nothing more than a little light layer of tapioca flour crust and a tiny bit of sauce and veggies. We got dessert and it was good too. Don't get your hopes up for something outstanding but it's decent for Brazil. There were mosquitoes all over too, which never is fun. Candles and a zapper helped...
86 Hang Quat Street, Hanoi, Vietnam
We ate here upon arrival because it was right by our hotel. Lovely, helpful staff and food was good. They have a full page or two of vegetarian. I got mock beef, rice, and veggies. It was quite tasty! And I usually don't eat abroad at places that aren't fully vegan because I worry about the understanding of the meaning. But this place is recommended.
Carrer Escudellers 42, Barcelona, Spain
Excellent, best of Barcelona!
We ate here our last night, unfortunately. It was incredible. Easy to find by the map and a short walk from La Rambla. Veggie burgers were delicious with the sauce. Also took some chicken sandwiches to go for our train ride the next day and they were fantastic, even at a day old! Deserves all the praise it gets!

Different foods and very good
We ate here three times and did a cooking class with them. Very nice people. Clean. Menu has tons of variety. First sandwich I had in over 2 weeks and it was excellent (shredded tofu banh mi). Spicy vegetables with rice crackers is excellent as well. Tofu and mushroom cakes pretty good. Fried banana pancakes oily but okay for dessert. Their order in advance cakes are not very good at all. Never thought I would say that about a cake. Cooking class was great. Use a lot of soybean oil in cooking. Tiny bit more expensive than other places here and takes longer to cook, but the food is worth it.
Regente Mendieta 15, Barcelona, Spain
A little hard to find coming off the metro but well worth it! Very friendly staff. Sit down and pick certain items for each course. I thought it was one of the better places in Barcelona and was very busy. Plus, it's the only thing near the Camp Nou. Visca Barca!
18 Rue de la Bucherie, Paris, France
My favorite in Paris
This place is right next to Notre Dame. It's a small place but I was blown away by my meal. It had tofu, seitan, and a tofu cake plus veggies and some other things. The tofu was one of the best I've had in my 8 years being vegan. That's saying a lot. It's a little pricey but well worth it. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my lunch.
92 Boulevard de Beaumarchais, Paris, France
One of the best in Paris
I'm shocked at some of the negative reviews on here, but to each their own. Sure, it's a smaller menu than the Loving Hut we ate at a lot in San Diego, but it has enough options. I had the Pho one night and the Veggie Burger tonight. Wife had Crepes and we had the New York something for an appetizer. It's like a chicken breast cut into strips with a sauce. Good food that brought us back. It was busy both nights. Love seeing that in a vegan restaurant. Easy to find off metro stop. Maybe 100 yards...
