Seguramente por su ubicación e influencias de ambos lados del Adriático, la comida presenta una fusión de aquí y de allá: va desde entrantes para compartir hasta risottos y raviolis, pasando por el vegab, un kebab vegano, falafel y diversas sopas. Sin embargo, la opción que en el restaurante llaman «La captura del día» (Catch of the Day — Plant‑based) capturó mi atención, valga la redundancia, y no sin motivos: este no pescado venía servido con un sedoso puré de patatas y guisantes, ensalada fresca y habas. Me conquistó, sin más. Al probar esta mezcla quedé maravillado —especialmente por el tofu marinado—, ya que su textura y sabor me hicieron recordar a qué sabía el pescado: un plato de mucho arraigo local por su cercanía al mar. Por petición de mi acompañante probé los raviolis de la casa y pude certificar que cualquier plato allí estaba magníficamente ejecutado. Tras el vino y el plato principal, sentados en el relajante patio interior del local, quise cerrar la comida como me gusta: con un café y una tarta de chocolate puro con plátano. Sin duda, fue, para mí, la mejor comida que hice en la ciudad.
Urban & Veggie, alejado de las murallas de Dubrovnik, destaca por ello. Es sin duda la mejor opción en una ciudad en la que el turismo masivo hace que, en el casco histórico, no se pueda disfrutar de un plato vegano de calidad. Este estandarte merece nuestro apoyo.

The restaurant is outside the Old Town, near the port, but it is definitely worth visiting. This is especially true given that there is almost no choice of vegan food in Dubrovnik. The food was very good!

The whole menu is vegan! It feels like a hidden gem since the place is at a busy street but it has a garden and it feels likw you’re not even in the city. The food is really good for a good price and the staff is also really friendly. Definitely would come back!

Right at the port (200m to the right coming off the boat) this place has so much choice. The breakfast tofu scramble and the comprehensive brekkie toasts are great. The soup and salad was typically Croat fresh. Oat milk latte was lovely. The prices are good (around 10E for a dish) Is also a vegan bar at night.

Urban & Veggie is a rare find. We went twice during our 4 day stay in Dubrovnik. The first time we chose from the menu (the bao buns are mouth-watering), the second time (on Saturday) they offered a great buffet. Food is really fresh, service was attentive and friendly. Urban & Veggie is located outside the Old Town, in the Gruz area of Dubrvovnik, not far from the ferry/cruise port. Even if staying in the Old Town, definitely worth the walk or the easy bus ride. Prices were surprisingly fair considering the quality and variety of food.

Nice variation of vegan foods. I tried gung bao for starter and seitan for main dish. Dishes were big so I could only take one. Bao bun wasn’t really bao bun but it was still nice. Main dish was really good. Also capuccino with vanilla soy milk was amazing.

We came here for lunch and had the kebab, bruschetta, pad thai, a cappuccino, and a banana coffee smoothie. You can really taste that everything is handmade and made with a lot of love. The service was also super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back anytime and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

I've been to Urban & Veggie quite a few times and the food is really consistent and quality. Portion sizes are also really generous. I'd recommend the pad Thai! Do watch out for the couple of items which aren't vegan, though - e.g. dairy milk and ice cream.

Read moreThe first day we had the sharing board which was very filling and so tasty. The second day I had the raw raw bowl which was also very good. My husband had the sliders, again very good. I managed the Apple Strudel on this day too, BE WARNED….. the ice cream is not vegan, so my husband had it.
The third day we had dinner, I ordered a starter if Eggplant Tartare, really nice but a very big portion. Main was the Spicy Poke Bowl which was very tasty. Husband had the daily dish of Lasagna which came with a nice side salad. We took our leftovers with us as the food is well portioned. Please visit: food delico & the staff are very nice.

Went here twice; first time we came for dinner and have the wrap, sliders and bao buns. My favourite was the wrap but it was all good. Second time we came for the buffet breakfast which was tasty, good range of food. They had porridge pots with fruit, cinnamon buns, fruit, toast, tofu scrambled, homemade baked beans, yoghurt, granola. The tofu and beans were really good on toast. Highly recommend. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The outside seating was nice on a sunny day.

The menu looks great and I wish I could have tried all dishes. It’s by far the best food we had in Dubrovnik, even though some dishes felt overpriced and not all dishes were that amazing.
Read moreThey have great homemade seitan, used for their vegan kebab (highly recommended) and their “seitan king” dish (not worth the money).
I also recommend the platter to share, with different tasty bites and dips. The burger sliders have quite special flavour combinations so don’t expect a regular burger.
The dessert menu needs improvement: their ice cream is not vegan, pancakes are not being served during dinner time, and the “choco delight” was a disappointment as it was presented as a chocolate cake but mostly tasted like banana.
Great atmosphere, nice place to sit, and friendly staff.
