Very big place. We ended up here for a snack while it was raining. Enough seats. Too bad we couldn’t sit outside. . We had the kebab and it was very tasty. Some nice drinks and nice staff. But it’s weird they charge for plant milk in an almost vegan place. They serve cows milk as normal and they charge like 60 cent for almond milk.

Good but not filling, and not "100% plant based" as advertised - Edit
The first page of their menu says that they're 100% plant-based, but they serve dairy, so they're not 100% plant-based at all, and it's a bit much for them to claim otherwise. It's sometimes unclear which dishes are actually vegan, especially in the desserts section - you might want to double check before ordering.
Read moreOn top of that, the portions were also small and expensive. However, the food was well-presented, delicious, and there are not a lot of other veg*n places in Dubrovnik, so overall I would still recommend.
Pros: Tasty, Well presented
Cons: Expensive, Small portions , Misleading advertising

the vegan throne of king's landing - Edit
the food was super yummy, and as the only *mostly* vegan spot in the area, i'm glad it was! i had the vegeburger and my husband had the kebab. we split the mac and cheese and a cake! very tastey.
Read moremy only complaint is that they do serve dairy milk icecream. not a concern, since everything is VERY clearly marked, just something to note as it isn't 100% vegan as they say. i also wish that they had more authentic croatian food, being the only vegan restaurant for miles.
didn't get photos as we had just arrived in country and were extremely exhausted.

Everything about Urban and Veggie was fantastic, I chose the kebab and a side salad, it was divine, indulgent and healthy in equal measures. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and had good humour, and the outdoor space was lovely. Overall it was a real treat 💚

NOT fully vegan - Edit
Staff member told me on the first night everything was vegan so I had some of my friends ice cream. As the menu says ‘100% plant based’ it seemed safe to assume everything was…plant based. A poorly designed menu and misinformation from staff means I have eaten dairy.
Read moreOn my second trip I saw on the menu there is the vegetarian logo under the ice cream but as its not also with the strudel I thought they were just confirming everything was vegetarian (as some veggies dont know what plant based means). I double checked and a staff member told me ‘obviously ice cream is dairy and not vegan’
Would not come here with allergies, terrifying the level of misinformation given. Ruined my experience as the food that was vegan was really good. Although now I’m not even sure that was vegan!

I was starving and initially just wanted to eat something so I went to the nearest vegan place. Was amazed by the diverse menu options and fine presentation. Ended up staying about 3 hours just to try something else.

A great vegan spot - Edit
Located on the dockside, Urban and Veggies is one of the very few 100% vegan places in Dubrovnik. They have lots to choose from: salads, wraps, burgers, seitan, risotto etc. All very tasty and not more expensive than any other similar restaurant in the city I’d say. A good place for your evening meal, but I recommend booking as it gets very busy.
Read moreSome of the dishes could do with a bit more detail on the menu. The tamarind oyster mushrooms are served cold, but this is not specified on the menu. Also the Kalamotas Plate is salad, but the description sounds as though it is season veggies served *on* focaccia. Still delicious, but just something to be aware of 😊
Pros: 100% vegan, Lovely outdoor seating, Lots of choice

Excellent vegan restaurant in Dubrovnik - Edit
Three of us ordered lunch here and we all enjoyed the quality, creativity and presentation. One had the kebab wrap made with seitan, one the eggplant tartare and one the vegan burger. All delicious. The one slight letdown were the fries which were a bit limp but that's minor. Highly recommended especially in a place like Dubrovnik where good vegan food is hard to come by.

Great plant based restaurant - Edit
Seated on a lovely terrace with attentive staff. Great choice of food. Reasonably priced for Dubrovnik. Our table had the Eggplant tartar, risotto, sextant King of the menu and gnocchi mac & cheese. All tasted great and beautifully presented. Puddings a little disappointing but otherwise a great choice in a city where vegan food can be hard to find.

Worth a visit! - Edit
It's a cozy place with a nice terrace, wifi and friendly staff with great english skills. The menue has a nice mix and I went for a mushroom spinach dish, which did has amazing flavour, only the portion was a bit little. The Coffee was great too and I tried the vegan version of the local cake, which was done good but just not my thing (I'm not so into pudding consistency but maybe others more).

Great food - Edit
Nice vegan food and amazing dessert. Don't recommend the lemon pie.
Read moreThe weird thing about the restaurants is that they choose to not be 100% vegan bc they still sell non-vegan ice-cream which is used for only one dessert. Too bad they still support the dairy industry with so many other vegan desserts to choose from on the menu.

Best in Dubrovnik! - Edit
We went for dinner at Urban & Veggie. So glad we did! Hands down the best vegan food we’ve had in Dubrovnik. The restaurant is situated right on the street facing the port where the cruise ships come in. There’s not a lot of signage on the front, so look for the cute little carrot logo in the windows. The restaurant is quite large and opens onto a large outdoor area at the back. The menu includes a couple of vegetarian items, clearly marked, while the majority of the menu is vegan. We decided on the eggplant tartar for starters, follows by the King of the Menu, and for dessert the Rozata because it was marked as a local dish. The eggplant tartar was more like a beet tartar mellowed with eggplant. Good, but not fantastic. The King of the Menu was some of the best seitan I’ve ever had. Moist on the inside but super crunchy on the outside. It was served on a bed of mushy peas with mint. Dessert was fantastic. A subtle coconut pudding with a slightly citrus sauce. Overall it was an excellent meal.
