great veggie &vegan take out
Great expansion for Sky Apple. They serve a good selection of savoury and sweet veggie and vegan take out delights. The aroma on entry ensures you are feeling hungry and they seem to do a good trade. The vegan cheese is of a good quality and they have some unusual flavours. They also have some lovely vegan cakes, I love their miniature vegan Victoria sponge cake. I envy those who are able to frequent this fine take away regularly.

Better & better for vegans
We've been coming here since 2014 as it's perfectly located just opposite the Room Mate Aitana Hotel in amazing IJdok. Excellent vegan choice bagel toppings. In 2015 they replaced the vegan tuna with a vegan chicken teriyaki bagel and introduced a fully meat free range of vegetarian and vegan bagel burgers, all of which are pretty amazing and great value at €6 to €9. This is perfect place for a healthy breakfast in Amsterdam. There are actually 25-30 Bagels & Beans around the city.

great sangria and tapas near the beach
This is a great place to go to when visiting the beach. The portion sizes of food are good and the food is very tasty. It's a friendly quirky place with a relaxed vibe. The range of organic sangrias are fab and are a perfect accompaniment to enjoy with your vegan tapas. If you fancy a stroll along the beach with an ice cream to follow, I would recommend a visit to La Heladeria Mexicana which is very close by and offers a good range of delicious vegan ice creams.

veggie or bust
A unique concept which works so well. This is a modern bar full of life. The food is delicious with a high percentage of vegan options. It's a cool and relaxed place to enjoy a craft beer or veggie wine. We visit every time in Leeds because we love it that much.

Tasty burgers and beer
This isn't the place to visit if you want an al a carte dining experience but it is the place to come to if you fancy a great vegan burger with a super selection of Catalan beers to wash it down in a relaxed non pretentious bar in a great accessible area of Barcelona. I ordered the black bean burger which was very tasty and filing, only minor prob was that I asked for some adaptions to be made to the toppings which the chef didn't accommodate.

Cosy restaurant, feels like being in a living room. Very friendly and helpful owner. It isn't a la carte but its tasty hearty food and definitely worth a visit.

great vegan choice
Lovely friendly cafe with extensive menu and great choice of vegan options. Try the vegan beer battered fish and chips, it tastes so like the real thing (from what I remember) it has to be tasted to be believed. A visit to this cafe is a must if you have the opportunity.
Kempinski Plaza, Uhlandstrasse 181-183, Berlin, Germany
This restaurant is wonderful. The interior, ambiance, food and service are all first class. There is an extensive choice of meals which are all organic, animal free, presented to perfection and the menu changes with the seasons. The price of meals and drinks are more expensive than some of the other vegetarian restaurants in Berlin but they are more than worth the price- mains are about 15 euros and a bottle of house wine is 18 euros. I chose the Aubergine Picatta with rosemary garlic-polenta and the dish blew me away. A visit to La Mano Verde is a must, particularly for a special occasion.

This is a great little falafel shop with limited seating inside and seats outside. The falafel is delicious and the salad choice which you help yourself to is very good, my personal favourite was the olive tapanade. Fries can be added to the sandwich for 30c and humous for 50c, I plan to try this when I visit again. We ate our wonderful falafel sandwiches by the river spree which was near the shop and close to O2 world at East Side Gallery.

good quality food at a price
Small restaurant with limited seating space and not much room to move. Food is healthy, tasty and organic but pricey. Has a formal feel and although we enjoyed trying the restaurant it isn't a favourite.

A taste of the future
This cafe is something else, its a large super efficient establishment with a large group of staff preparing the food and serving. You are given a buzzer which goes off when your food is ready for collection at the counter. It's a sophisticated fast food style restaurant which appears to have had a lot of money spent on it and you could imagine there being a chain of restaurants like this. It doesn't have the imtimate cosy ambiance that so many vegetarian restaurants have but it is great to see a vegetarian establishment of this scale in operation. The food and drink was presented very nicely. I chose the carrot & courgette soup which was delicious. Vegan options aren't labelled but staff advise on what can be vegan and will omit ingredients such as cream and cheese, just be careful, they nearly added cream to my soup.

Great food, Great value, Great find
This is a great little restaurant. It's cosy, friendly and the food is fantastic value (£4.00- £4.50 for main dishes). The vegan choice is brilliant, I was informed that every meal on the menu could be made vegan. I opted for the tofu burger which was delicious, it consisted of 3 types of tofu with salad and a tangy tomato topping. I am very pleased that this wonderful restaurant has opened and plan to make the most of it by visiting regularly.

great vegan friendly bar
Wonderful relaxed bar in lovely (pro veggie) area of Barcelona. Great to see they offer a separate vegan menu, I have only had the pleasure of trying one of their vegan chocolate brownies but hope to try their vegan brunch on a future visit.

Sublime vegan bar
I visited this restaurant for a light lunch. I was surprised at how sophisticated the restaurant looks as I was expecting something much more casual. The vegan tapas we had the pleasure of eating were exceptional, they seem to focus on quality as opposed to quantity as the dishes weren't very big but were most definitely worth the price. The seitan skewers we ordered were on another level, it's the most mouth watering seitan I have ever had. I would love to sample this restaurant at night and try a larger variety of the tempting dishes.

shame it now sells meat
Great tasting falafel but very disappointing that they now serve a large selection of meat products such as burgers and kebabs. They did have a poster on the wall stating that their inspiration was to bring healthy vegetarian food into people's everyday lives so its ashame they've sold out but it's still worth a visit for good value falafels.
71 Clayton St, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England
It is wonderful that Newcastle now has a fully vegan food store. I could spend a fortune in this store and that is not down to the prices which are reasonable for an independent store such as this but because they have a such a great selection of perishable and non perishable products and we always sample something new and exciting when we visit. The staff are friendly and informative and it has a community type feeling when you visit. This place gives you faith in humanity,it's such a nice feeling to be around other like minded people who are choosing to buy products that have not harmed a single animal in any way.

Love this restaurant. The food is delicious and it's a friendly smart restaurant. Great choice of dishes, including very good choice of vegan starters, mains, sides and desserts. The tahali is a good option to sample a good range of different dishes but you need to be hungry as the dish is very plentiful. The price is reasonable for the standard of food. There is a great bar next door called the Reliance if you fancy a pre dinner drink, they serve a great range of continental and vegan lagers and they provide soya milk for tea/ coffee.
