Special sushi restaurant - Edit
Small and intimate restaurant. The menu is very extensive and the chefs can be seen preparing the food. I absolutely loved the soup starter and it was fabulous to try a range of their vegan sushi.

Yesterday, during our vegan journey through Europe, we visited Cudo Vegan Sushi in the heart of Poznan. We included this stop in our plans because we were enticed by the reviews, and I must say: We were equally thrilled. When someone opens a business driven by passion, you not only sense it but also taste it! It was a culinary journey of our senses, and it was fantastic!
Read moreThere, we enjoyed Go-Go Dzilla with 40 pieces of sushi, including 2x nigiri unagi with eggplant, 2x gunkan Avo, 6x hosomaki avocadomaki, 6x hosomaki mushroomsmaki, 8x uramaki smoke fish every day, 8x uramaki pistachio attack!, and 8x uramaki mango dragon. Every single sushi was amazing. We were served vegan sushi in multiple rounds, and with each sushi, a story was told about the ingredients and whether they were original creations or vegan imitations of real fish varieties. We were pleasantly surprised at how tofu and caramelized inari could taste so much like fish. The combination of sweet and savory flavors came to life, especially with the Mango Dragon, which has become my current favorite.
The stories, explanations, outstanding taste, and the loving team make this establishment one of the best restaurants we've ever visited. Without a doubt, it's the best vegan sushi in the world. Dear Cudo Team, please keep up the great work. Running a business with love and enthusiasm can only lead to greatness one day! You have my support!

I have mixed feelings here.. The vibe is nice, it’s a small but cozy place around 10/15 min from the center. I have to give it to them, the menu is pretty bold - roll with popcorn, peanut butter, smoked tofu, taco roll or a pizza roll lol
Read moreBut when my set arrived, some were amazing (tempura, panko) and some were a miss (avocadomaki and grzaniec 2.0). It felt like the flavor was bland and the components didn’t go well together. In all of them the rice was not proper sushi rice - did they use not the right kind, was in undercooked?
I feel that people still enjoy this place. All props for the full vegan menu and the creativity, but compared to other vegan sushi, Cudo still needs some improvement in execution.

A little outside the dead centre of Poznan but not too far, we sat outside side by side in a cute little booth. The food was outstanding, we ordered too much so it was sushi for breakfast too!
