Foncez! - Edit
Excellent restaurant vietnamien Vegan !
Cons: Cher

Best summer rolls I’ve ever experienced - Edit
I was here with a group of six people. Service was excellent and everyone at my table loved what they ordered. I highly recommend the summer rolls. I also had the tofu coconut curry, which was good, but those summer rolls! There were lots of other menu items I wish I could have tried.

Amazing Vietnamese food - Edit
Non Viet is one of my favourite vegan spots in town, and a place I take my friends to when they visit. The food is tasty, filling, relatively cheap, and fast! I’ve tried most of the items on the menu and all of them are great.

Incredible - a must visit - Edit
Best summer rolls I’ve ever had, best tofish (ha long cakes) and best pho. Two days on and I’m still thinking about this incredible dinner. I also had a delicious coffee cocktail. I highly recommend visiting when you’re in Edinburgh. Forget about Soul (overrated) and come here instead.

Enjoyable meal - Edit
We went here for lunch. We got the Hai phong caramel & kohlrabi dish, the ban hue spicy noodle soup and some crackers whilst we were waiting. The food was delicious, portions were good, and it was filling. The only shame was there were was no room left for dessert

Not wow factor food - Edit
I was quite hungry and had high expectations.
Read moreThe food was quite average. Not anything that I would recognise from Vietnam after spending a month there.
I had the Tofu and Mushroom Sizzling which was quite bland with no specific tastes.
I had to ask for a knife to cut a particular type of mushroom that was in the dish.
When I tried my wife’s dish, the consistency was the same and I thought tasted very similar but with the addition of some lemongrass.
I inquired to confirm they actually had a Vietnamese Cook and they confirmed he was. The reason I asked was the food I had did not seem authentic. The Lemon Grass Tofu got a thumbs up from my wife. She said she would have her dish again and I would give them another visit choosing another dish

Pros: Lemongrass and Chilli Tofu.
Cons: Not 100% Vegan, Condensed milk used in one of the cocktails.

Amazing vegan asian experience in midst of the city - Edit
Everything was absolutely Superb, from big starter mixed plate to bun cha and other main dishes, had fresh And very sweet mango milkshake, lemonade Is also Worth a try. We visited very tired And hungry 1 Hour before closing, yet we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Very lovely waitress took care of us, unforgetable dishes, very fresh ingredients and full of savoury flavours. Would definitely visit again, btw the portions are bigger than usually.

Incredible, fresh food - Edit
To start we had the sharing platter - a great option to try a bit of everything - it was all delicious, the summer rolls and ha long cakes were especially good. For main course, I had the sizzling tofu & mushroom - I was pleased to find a variety of mushrooms including enoki - it tasted incredible and looked amazing too. Would absolutely recommend.

We ordered two starters, two mains and the fried ice cream for dessert. The staff were helpful in giving advice on what to order based on our tastes. We read online that it was cash only however this is no longer the cash and THEY ACCEPT CARD.

Absolute most go!! - Edit
It‘s a must-go location for me whenever I am in Edinburgh! The food is delicious, I especially love a dish featuring bananas in a savory sauce with tofu in a fish style that is so unique. I have never found tofu like that anywhere else, it‘s firm with some seaweed on top and has both a fish-like taste and consistency. Absolutely delicious. The fried ice cream I had for desert was also good. The staff and owner are also always very nice and make the experience perfect.
