Take Away Heaven - Edit
I’ve been dreaming of coming back to York to try Kohaku after having an amazing Chinese take away from their sister place Wawin. The choice of dishes is absolutely phenomenal, it made my head spin looking at all the fake meat and fish options. I opted for the house curry with tofu and fried rice which was delicious. The portion sizes are good and the dishes were beautifully presented in environmentally friendly containers. We tend to visit York a few times a year and I honestly can’t see myself leaving York without a take away from here or Wawin.

A full Japanese menu operating from the Wawin Chinese premises. The house dog was adorable. We ordered online ready to pick up. The fish and udon fried noodles were excellent as was the tofu curry and fried rice bowl. We also took some avocado maki sushi which was mighty good. I hope they put their well deserved excellent reviews Happy Cow window sticker up.
