Good food but some policies regarding behaviour to customers should change - Edit
We are new to bath , A family of four, once we found this restaurant weekly once or twice visit Indian temptation, met owner once, he was good, but yesterday we had a bad experience with one of their staff. Me and my daughter refused to have dinner. He asked how many people are there. We say two then he directly said no seats for two. He could politely ask to book a time or ask to wait until seats are available. Actually there was three or four tables vacant. Owner should think about once rejected anybody dare to go such a place. We feel they have no respect for customers.

vegan menu with many choices - Edit
Open high ceiling room with lots of light, friendly staff with excellent service, but not rushed, and wonderful vegan food with enough options. We were very happy with our meal. You can tell they care about the details.

Delicious food, friendly service - Edit
Loved it so much we went 2 days in a row. Plan to go back again and again to keep working our way through all the dishes. Great to have all vegan options on a separate menu.

Simply Delicious - Edit
Loved loved loved all our food, they even gave us extra chilli on the side (chopped up!) in case it wasn't spicy enough!
Read moreStaffs were friendly, lovely decor and colours - the only rough patch was that the staircase did not smell very good, which is unfortunate as you have to go up the stairs to get to the restaurant.

Lovely Indian dishes - Edit
Plenty of great Indian food options, ranging from curries, dosas and thalis. Fully vegetarian but with a separate vegan menu. The restaurant is super cosy and was very busy & popular when we visited. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I would say the only downside was that it was a bit cramped in, but that’s obviously just a sign of how popular they are, and some of the curries were very sauce heavy with not a lot of vegetable in them, but they were totally delicious.

Give in to temptation - Edit
Once up the stairs, you are greeted by a well appointed restaurant with great views of the Abbey which looked especially good lit up at night.
Read moreThere is a separate vegan menu and you are struck immediately by the reasonable prices.
The onion Bhaji to start was superb. Rather than the usual ball, they came in strips which meant they were really crispy and avoided the chickpea flour goo you sometimes get in Bhajis. The accompanying chutney was also delicious. The menu said there was kale in the bhajis and although there were flecks of green, I’m not sure it added a huge amount but that is a minor issue when the dish is so delicious.
The bhel puri was a very large portion and although I enjoyed it, it could have done with some peanuts, potato and onion as is usually in the bhel puri I have had in the past. A bit more tamarind sauce would also have lifted the dish.
These small issues were forgotten once the outstanding mains were tasted. The masala dosa was perfect; Crisp pancake, soft, well spiced potato interior and tasty chutney and curry sauce. The baby aubergine curry was fantastic, a subtle but rich sauce that complimented the creamy aubergine. The paratha was flakey and perfect for mopping up the outstanding sauce.
An excellent meal.
Pros: Separate vegan menu, Well priced, good portions , Delicious

Vegan menu! - Edit
And the normal menu seems to be fully veggie! Always feels so special to have a completely specially-made menu. Had the tandoori broccoli, baby aubergine masala with rice, and paratha. All amazing, definitely the best Indian food I've had in a long time!

Good, but disappointing pudding - Edit
The view was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was about the right speed and the food was tasty on the whole. The bhel poori starter was large tasty, and deceptively spicy. For main I had aloo gobi. This was lovely. Dessert was the only disappointing part of the meal. The semolina pudding was ok but rather bland.

Waow. This place blew me away. Vegan menu, friendly staff and outstanding food. I got a daal, okra curry and masala dosa, split between my partner and I. The okra curry was amazing! As was the masala dosa, and the dal too. Honestly couldn't fault it. Looks right over Bath Abbey too. I'd honestly pop back to bath to eat here again!

Quaint restaurant, amazing food - Edit
Vegetarian Indian restaurant tucked away on Cheap Street in Bath, had a separate vegan menu with some great starters, sides and mains. This restaurant uses only veggie ingredients and they don’t (currently) have mock meats. I had a vegan korma which was flavoursome and the vegetables were cooked well as well as some poppadoms, samosas and rice. I will visit again.

Veggie/Vegan delight - Edit
I don’t know how I’ve missed this place in past, but now I’ve discovered it I’ll be back for more. What a treat! An Indian restaurant that is all veggie or vegan. No little vegan add on (if you’re lucky) to the menu here, you get a proper vegan menu. Had the Thali & it was delicious.

Lots of options but heavy on stomach - Edit
- Lots of vegan options in starters as well as main course
Read more- Our taste buds loved it very much but our tummies didn’t agree on both the occasions we went there and it took us two days to feel normal again.
- It’s a little too heavy on salt and oil and the dosa/pancake was a little too fermented which is probably what caused the discomfort

Delicious vegan menu - Edit
Ask for the vegan menu - it's a separate thing from the veggie menu.
Read moreLoads of choice - some very familiar and some less so - everything we tried was very flavourful. Kale and onion bhaji starter was fab. Jalfrezi had great flavour but not as spicy as they often are. We tried the dried mint paratha as we'd not noticed it on a menu before - goes really well with the curries.
Freshly squeezed juices and homemade lemonade were great.
Prices v reasonable.
Fantastic view of the abbey from our table!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Homemade feel, Friendly, attentive service
Cons: Not all vegan, Would've loved a vegan mango lassi
