Incredible Food - Edit

This place was so good me and my family ate there twice (while only being im Bath for two nights). Service was great (when we were there the manager was who served us), and the food was wonderful. The best Indian food i have ever eaten. The samosas were incredible, and the aloo channa was by far the best I have had. If I visit Bath again I will 100% eat here again (along with The Acorn).

Pros: Vegan menu Amazing authentic Indian food, Great service, Great location Reasonable price

good South Indian food - Edit

The food was good and if you haven't had South Indian food before it's definitely worth going. If you have, this place is very good but not the best (nothing much wrong with it, perhaps too much use of frozen veg, and the flavours are less subtle than in some similar places - eg the brilliant Rasa, Stoke Newington in London). Also I don't really like the separate vegan menu thing - makes veganism seem strange /different - also because we went with non-vegans and it makes it difficult to know if you can try each other's dishes etc because we're ordering from different menus - why not just label whether each dish is vegan on the general menu?

But this isn't meant to sound negative, it's really great to have a South Indian place in Bath, brilliant that it's all veggie and that they have so many interesting vegan options, friendly staff etc.

Pros: lots of vegan options, dosas, South Indian food, lovely view from window and very central

Cons: separate vegan menu (better to label items as vega, nice but not amazing flavours, ingredients etc, some people's food came out much later than ot

Best Indian food yet - Edit

This has got to be the best Indian food we've eaten yet. So tasty, bursting with flavour and true Indian food. (a lot different to the standard Indian take away menus). The staff were ALL so friendly, warm and really helpful. The added bonus of a separate vegan menu. The cost was extremely reasonable too. Can't wait to return again for a second visit. 10 out of 10.

Pros: Whole separate vegan menu

Great Authentic Indian Food - Edit

I loved my meal here. There are many authentic south indian options on the menu like Dosa and Idly along with a few of the more english favourites. They have a seperate vegan menu which has a lot of choice. The food turned up quick and was all to a very high quality, none was greesey and it all tasted very fresh, I can most recommend this place, especially the Aubergine dish (baigan), dosa and idly!

Pros: Fresh tasting, south indian food, great view

Yummy Indian - Edit

Like all good Indian restaurants, this looks closed when it is in fact open and features the mandatory white table cloths.

The cuisine is a lot more authentic than most Indian restaurants. Try the street food starters of rate £7.95 mini-tali lunch.

Pros: Tasty!

Fantastic Authentic Indian Vegetarian Food - Edit

This restaurant serves up the best vegetarian Indian food I have ever tried.
I have taken many friends and family to eat here and the flavours are so good that many of the carnivores said it was the best Indian food they have eaten.
The team at the restaurant are friendly and make you feel very welcome.
All of this added to the fact that the restaurant is situated in a corner position looking right over Bath Abbey means you have the perfect setting for a great meal.

Pros: Authentic Dishes, Friendly Staff, Fantastic Location

Delicious and inspiring Indian vegetarian food - Edit

We had a really lovely vegetarian meal at Indian Temptation in Bath
Each individual dish was beautifully prepared and freshly made
We chose 2 starters - the dahi poori which was crispy hollow biscuits filled with delicious lentils and yogurt and a fantastic plate of tandoori broccoli which was extraordinary and so delicious
Then we had the thali between two which was full of different flavours and came with fantastic breads as well as a desert
The service was excellent and the waiter was very helpful in recommending the dishes to us

Pros: excellent food, lovely staff, fantastic location and views of abbey

Cons: the lighting was a bit bright, needed soft music
