I had the cajun spiced tofu with sweet potato puree and greens. It was delicious. Soundtrack provided by a seemingly spontaneous group playing Irish folk music. It was fairly busy on a Saturday night, with just a few spots at the counter near the grill, so we got to see our food prepared.

Happy to find vegan options in the area!

I enjoyed Bridge. I had the zucchini lasagna which was fresh and flavorful. The one vegan dessert, a chocolate cake, was pretty tasty, but seemed dry without a sauce, whipped cream, or ice cream. I had a soy latte with dinner, although I was told they don't always have soy milk.
The dinner menu was slightly different then on the website. There are also vegan options during Sunday brunch.
Our server was very friendly. She didn't know which items listed as vegetarian were vegan, but was happy to ask and said they all were.

Another good dinner

I visited a few years ago when I was in town for a conference and had a great meal, so I was delighted to return. I was looking for a healthy and tasty vegan meal. I ordered a cup of the chili I saw on the nachos. It was mostly Smart Grounds and very oily, with little beans and veggies. I got a special I think was called an organic bowl with greens, quinoa, and a veggie kebab. I added a side of smoked tofu. I think it came with a sweet and sour sauce. I wish menus listed all ingredients, but it tasted good. The best part was my friend's corn soup. I recommend they specify what is vegan on the menu.

I haven't been to the restaurant, but I had the seitan in a burrito from Hermanos Cocina Mexicana, which was very good, and a whoopie pie from the Concord Coop, which knocked my socks off. I cannot wait to visit this restaurant.

Delicious vegan food

I went for lunch with another person and we sat outside. I had the curried chickpea salad which came with a side of broccoli with almonds. My friend got the portabello burger with roasted root veggies. They were both great. The staff was nice, there are a lot of delicious-sounding options, it's in cute downtown Mystic, there's outside seating and parking, and the prices are appropriate.

Pretty Good Lunch
09 Aug 2012
I had a decent lunch here. I ordered the veggie fried rice with salad and a dumpling. I asked for mostly veggies and tofu and little rice. I received lots of rice with little veggies and fried tofu, which tasted pretty good but wasn't what I ordered. The dumpling was good and the salad of pickled cucumbers and peanuts was the best part. The chef who took my order was very friendly and the decor of a food truck inside a restaurant is cute. Most of the menu items can be made vegan.

High-end vegan food

We had the grilled watermelon salad to start, which was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. Then we shared two entrees. The six main sliders were delicious. They came with a great blueberry dipping sauce. The raw spicy summer noodles were the standout. Fresh and flavorful. Overall the food is expensive, but this restaurant will be a good treat.
I recommend that they label vegan items on the menu. Dairy-free is labeled, but there is no mention of vegan (egg- and honey-free as well).

Tiny's Is Amazing

Tiny's offers local food with many vegan options. I ate there every day I was in Provincetown and each dish was delicious. I had the tofu scramble with potatoes and toast, the caesar salad, and the maple-glazed tofu. I also tried the hummus burger. The side of fruit was great too. They have soy milk.

Very vegan-friendly Mexican food!

They have many vegan ingredients, including rice and beans, cheese (it tasted like Daiya), veggie crumbles, and seitan from the nearby Cafe Indigo. So you can get a vegan version of most dishes. I had a Happy Burro (A whole wheat tortilla wrapped around a filling of our spicy Cafe Indigo seitan crumble, Mexican rice, black beans, fresh avocado, scallions and vegan cheese, sprinkled with cilantro and garnished with lettuce, tomato and guacamole). It had a great taste, but was served luke warm. The chips and salsa aren't anything special. There is a vegan chocolate cake on the dessert menu, but I ordered a dessert special, blueberry mango crisp, which was delicious. The day I went there was also a vegan soup that I didn't try.

I tried Life Alive today on my drive from NH to CT. I'm so glad I checked it out. The decor and ambiance are very relaxing and inspirational. There is plenty of seating. It seems like a great place to get a meal or have coffee and chat or read. The 2 staff members were polite and helpful.
The food was very tasty. I had butternut squash soup (great flavor but luke warm), the Alchemist salad (extremely flavorful, and the Taster Plate was the perfect portion), and a good iced coffee with soy milk. My non-vegan wife enjoyed her Kiddie Quesadilla and Romantic wrap. We couldn't decide what to get because there were so many interesting options. The only non-vegan ingredients are hard-boiled eggs and cheddar cheese, which you can substitute with Daiya. We would drive an hour and a half back there.

Good vegan burger

I had the vegan burger wrap with mango chutney. The burger was good, but the wrap tasted stale and the chutney was too sweet and overwhelmed the sandwich. Next time I would get the burger on the regular bread and get the chutney on the side. It is a comfortable pub away from the downtown area.

I was excited to find a shop with vegan food right next to a very cool bookstore called the Inner Bookshop. But the spiced fruit cake I had was disappointing. While the flavor was good, it was quite dry. I preferred the coconut chocolate flapjack I had at Uhuru Wholefoods. There were other vegan deserts on the menu that weren't available and a few vegan savory dishes that I didn't try. It's worth a visit.

I was excited to find a vegan pastry in Oxford while on vacation from the U.S. I had a delicious coconut chocolate flapjack, as it's called. I highly recommend this store for a vegan/organic alternative to the traditional grocery store.
