Best Bet for Bagels!
If you're a vegan or vegetarian and love bagels, this is the place. A A wonderful selection of bagels, all vegan save for the chocolate chip and egg bagel which are vegetarian. My favorites are the "everything" and coconut bagels, the latter very subtle and surprisingly good. Lots of spreads available for vegetarians (peanut butter and jams are vegan) and some good coffee choices. You can eat there or take out and the personnel are pleasant and helpful. They have another location at Strawberry Square near the Capitol.

Well worth the ride!
Four of us from Harrisburg's Green Street Vegetarian Club decided to drive to Gaithersburg to check out Antonio's and it turned out to be a good decision. We came for their twice a month vegan buffet and found the food tasty, varied, ample and reasonably priced. The owner was particularly pleasant and accomodating and the cafe clean and colorful. It was a delightful experience which we will try to repeat whenever feasible. No only were all the buffet items made by Antonio's tasty especially the drummettes but the dessert was made by Vegan Treats. Plenty of free parking and not hard to find.

Worth A Visit!
Relish is a very clean, friendly place with tasty and clearly marked vegan dishes.
Their vegan wrap (warm roma veggie wrap) was quite good as was their vegan mixed grill. They have potato pancakes which are both vegan and quite tasty. The service was both pleasant and efficient and we would definitely go back. Relish should be encouraged to add a few more vegan selections.

What a find!
What a fantastic place! All organic fruits and vegetables, many vegan products, including deli items, reasonably priced, friendly staff, and sparkling clean. We stopped there just to check it out thanks to the reviews previous to ours and walked out as new members or "owners" as they call it. Market well laid out in a very convenient, attractive venue with lots of parking available.

Unexpected Piece of Heaven in Central PA
Espresso Yourself is an oasis in an area known for its predilection for meat and potatoes. Delicious vegetarian and vegan soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and specialty drinks. Pleasant, warm atmosphere, friendly service, and an owner who is anxious and willing to please her customers. We have never had a bad meal here and the food is well worth the 25 mile ride from Harrisburg, which first follows the Susquehanna and then the Juniata River and is a scenic delight by itself.

Best vegan pizza ever!
Thanks to Happy Cow, we went to Gourmet Pizza and while they unfortunately did not have vegan soy cheese, their vegan cheeseless pizza was so good that we made a return visit before leaving Tampa to fly home.

Finding vegan paradise in Portland
This was our first and best stop on a recent visit to Portland. The food was terrific, especially the mac and cheese, which even tastes better than our memories of the so-called regular version. The owners could not be nicer and it was a great experience. Unfortunately they were not open on the weekend but we were lucky to get there on Friday for lunch. It will be the first of many stops there when we return to Portland.

Carry Me Back to New Virginia!
The Lotus Restaurant was a great find and we enjoyed it immensely. The dishes we tried, a string bean dish and one featuring burdock, were both tasty and we also enjoyed the radish cake appetizer. The waitpersons were attentive and pleasant and it was overall a delightful dining experience. We will be back to try some of the other items on their wonderfully extensive vegan friendly menu.

Wonderful sandwiches et al and don't miss the french fries. Staff friendly and helpful and there were plenty of choices in this all vegan restaurant. Portions and prices were likewise friendly and we just wish we had Native Foods on the east coast.

A true oasis!
We visited the cafe at Natural Oasis while visiting Rochester and were quite pleased with the Ethiopian buffet offered there daily; not only was the food tasty but the serving dishes were immediately replenished insuring that the food was always hot, fresh and available. The price was a mere $8 and the staff friendly and helpful. The cafe was clean and cosy and there was ample parking. A definite winner!

As visitors to vegan friendly Seattle, we had a awesome ending to our visit when we ate at Pizza Pi. Wanting to try as much as possible of their expansive menu we sampled both the red and white pizzas plus a delicious dessert (apple cinamon pocket pie). We also ordered two sandwiches (field roast and "chicken" salad)for the road. For a change, gluttony was rewarded as everything was fantastic. Add to that good service by a friendly owner and we had a perfect experience. We look forward to our next visit.

Although we live over two hours away, we go to Sticky Fingers as often as possible. The baked goods are always delicious and the carry out deli items are very good also. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and we only wish the whole place could be cloned and moved closer. If you're a vegan with a sweet tooth, it is not to be missed.

We went out of our way and stayed two nights in Syracuse just to try this restaurant and it was well worth it. The food was terrific, the service friendly and helpful, the ambience clean and pleasant. The breakfast pancakes were so good that we had them two days in a row, the seitan sandwich tasty and filling and the pastries to die for. We were only sorry that we couldn't spend more time there. As a former Central New Yorker, I have always dreaded my visits home because there was never any good vegan places to eat. Not so, anymore.

Our first stop in Portland was at this magnificent bakery and we weren't disappointed. The desserts were to die for and the lunch items were good also. We were lucky enough to be there on a Saturday when they bake raised donuts and I don't remember enjoying a donut more. The counter staff were both friendly and helpful and we left feeling extremely positive and anxious to return.

Deserves its plaudits!
The restaurant lived up to its praises. The food was excellent and there were plenty of vegan choices. The veg menu was extensive and we only had trouble choosing as we wanted to try everything. The vegan desserts were also excellent. When we met up with the friends from St. Pete whom we had come to visit, they had just been there the week before and echoed our praises. A definite must when you visit Tampa.

It only gets better!
We returned to Vegan Treats today to celebrate our anniversary and this magnificent bakery only gets better. The cakes, donuts, cookies, etc. are fantastic and the owner and staff are both friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we don't live in Bethlehem but if Vegan Treats promised to never leave, we might consider it. We drive there from Harrisburg and it is well worth the trip.

This is an awesome place. I call it the vegetarian butcher shop. Prices are more than half what you would pay in a health food store. They don't speak much English, but are very nice and helpful. The chicken and the canned tuna in particular are great.

What a difference a day makes!
We had not planned to return to the Wayward Cafe after eating there about a year ago but we heard that good things were happening there under new management and we decided to give it another look. We were glad we did. The new owners have done a great job; the food is terrific. It has gone from just an ok place to a place that we can't wait to get back to. If only we lived in Seatle!
