Zero Waste, organic and very tasty!

We really liked the pommegranate salad and the vegan Buddha Bowl. The service was good and we didn‘t wait long for our freshly made food. We will come here again.

Excellent food near Grand Place

Loved the Vegan History waffle. The vegan Bavaroise was incredible (tried the chocolate and the berry). Solid choice, great location.

Vegan and gluten free

Quite a few options. The falafel salad was tasty, (the soy yoghurt dressing on the side could be improved though, add some salt or garlic maybe). The gf sandwich, soup and salad was lovely though. I really liked that I could have a vegan gf beer too!

Pros: Decent menu, Nice Sandwich, Lovely soup

Cons: Yoghurt sauce with salad was a bit bland

All waffles taste like banana bread

We appreciated having a gluten free option but honestly it was disappointing. The waffles have a strong banana taste and it's not what you expect for a waffle.

Decent

We went for lunch on a Tuesday
- the waffle was decent
- the food was decent
- service a bit unfriendly and they asked for a tip when paying “can we have a tip?” Which is a bit weird especially as it isn’t the culture in Belgium

Awful

Took 40 minutes to get served. They gave my mother the wrong meal and her soup was cold. My bread was stale and the avocado was black and the mushroom wasn't fresh. The staff weren't very friendly and did not care when we mentioned these issues.

Great spot for vegans struggling with gluten

Had the buckwheat bowl with tofu and it was delicious, a great combination of ingredients with sauce on the side. For lunch had one of the vegan focaccias and I was very pleased.

The raw chocolate and hazelnut cake was also great!

Really a nice spot for vegan struggling with gluten.

Lucky find

I have been in Brussels for a few days and have been finding it difficult to find vegan options. I happened upon this little restaurant and was so happy to see several vegan options on the menu. I had vegan antipasti to share which was really good, I especially liked the tapenade. I also had a focaccia that I ordered without soup and was a little disappointed by the size at the price of €16 and I didn't get a discount for ordering without the soup. Taste-wise, the focaccia was very good though.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Nice staff, Tasty

Not bad, soup needed salt

Clearly labeled vegan / vegetarian. English spoken. Cards taken. Sandwich was great, soup was bland. Side salad was laughable.

Pros: Payment option, Tourist friendly, Decent sandwich

Yeaa... no

So I went there for a quick bite, asked how long a Focaccia would take and the waitress said 20ish minutes as it's quite busy. Totally fine with me, and it really took around that long.

Unfortunately when it arrived I was very disappointed. I got the Forever & ever (16€), which always comes with a "seasonal" soup (Pumpkin? In July?) and it was cold. Not even room temp, more like out the fridge. So very confused, I asked if it was supposed to be like that and apparently it wasn't so it was taken back to be warmed up again. Obviously in the microwave, as the cup was burning hot and the soup still piss warm. But anyways.
The Focaccio disappointed me so much. The bread was hard, which I don't expect for a fluffy focaccia?? And the filling was VERY sparse with 0 seasoning. The tofu crumble was two crumbs, avocado was 4 1mm thin slices and nothing was arranged with care, like there's not a chance to get a bite of everything at once.

Everything seemed very random to me and 16€ is simply not ok for that. Way way way too expensive.

EDIT:
Peanut Foster but blueberry waffle and no banana 13€

Tried my luck again, for a completely different dish. Was disappointed again.
The waffle itself had no real taste whatsoever, the peanut butter and ice cream were good but that's not selfmade so... I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

Cozy place, delicious waffles

Both sweet and savoury waffles are available. I tried "vegan sunrise" and "blueberry dark" waffles, both are high-quality.
I was happy to find "lait russe" (espresso with a lot of milk, which can be plant-based) among the hot drinks. The French words are hard for me to pronounce, but the coffee itself was enjoyable. It somehow felt like home.
It's worth mentioning that I visited Brussels in winter, and the weather outside was not particularly pleasant, so I enjoyed the cozy warmness of the café and nutritious food even more.

Slappe koffie

De koffie was slap en waterig. Ik nam 'Fried vegan Egg morning' en het 'ei' viel me erg zwaar. Het brood en tofu waren zeer lekker. De bediening was vriendelijk en het is een gezellige en propere zaak

Great option in rather a vegan desert

Found it hard to get much vegan choice in Brussels, this place was super friendly and relaxed. Good choices for breakfast/brunch, we went twice in three days!

Pros: Good choice, Super friendly , Good location, indoor and outdoor seating

😃😃

Came back here after visiting 2 years ago. We came at the start of the lunch hr. Food was very good however they mentioned they ran out of focaccia so we had to re order some dishes. They also accidentally canceled my sandwich and had to remake it due to the confusion. We ended up ordering a vegan chocolate waffle, soup, a breakfast dish, and the genius sandwich.

Le opzioni vegane che offrono sono buone ma le porzioni sono un po’ piccole per il prezzo che ti fanno pagare.
