Offers a reasonable range of organic vegetarian and vegan choices. Additionally, it has gluten free, soy free, lactose free, and "not pasteurized" items. Has a relaxed atmosphere, including some terrace tables. In addition to ovo-lacto dishes, it offers a seasonal veggie soup, vegan antipasti and various vegan sandwiches on spelt bread. Gluten-free waffles available. Also has soy milk for tea/coffee and shakes, as well as various healthy fresh juices, in addition to a good range of organic beers, including gluten-free ones. Had a nice brunch here. Food was tasty, portions were not very big though. Staff was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall a nice place to have vegan food.

The food here was great but moreover there is an excellent selection of vegan items. We tried the vegetable soup (with lentils), a hummus platter and a focaccia sandwhich. Everything we tried was delicious and the iced coffee was one of the best I’ve ever had!

tasty food, but beware of confusion - Edit
My wife and I liked the food at this place, to the point that we went there on two consecutive evenings. There was one bit of confusion on the second evening, when the imitation bacon for my order had run out, and the staff member offered real bacon instead. After discussion, we settled on sun-dried tomato as a replacement. She was polite and helpful throughout.

I had a savory waffle here which was really nice. My mother had a raw cake which she said tasted good but was still almost frozen inside, therefore I would say the waffles were a better choice. The staff was very nice.

Wat we aten was lekker. Maar ze hadden alleen warme soep, voor de rest zijn het koude of lauwe gerechten. De focaccia broodgerechten die op de kaart staan hadden ze niet. We kregen een tafel in het midden van de zaak waarlangs een lange rij wachtenden tegen onze tafel aan stond. Dat eet niet zo gezellig. Toen we wilden afrekenen moesten we in die lange rij gaan staan, zelfs toen we het bedrag gewoon konden neerleggen. Teveel mensen, te weinig personeel. Jammer…..

We came here for tea on our first evening in Brussels simply because of the location close to the Grand Place and because we liked the look of this restaurant. When we saw that they offered vegan waffles, we reserved a table for breakfast for the following day.

The service was not made with a smile and it felt like we had to wait a long time until we were served, despite the cafe being virtually empty. They forgot drinks and cutlery. We both left feeling hungry because the portion sizes were so small - especially for the price we paid. Half of my food was stone cold.

Went here for dinner last night, had the vegan cheese platter and the salty caprese waffle.
Read moreThe vegan cheese plate consisted of 3 vegan cheese by Naturalia and some tapenades. One of the cheeses wasn't vegan however: it was goat's cheese. After tasting it, we asked the staff if they possibly made a mistake. They hesitantly said no. Once home, I looked up the naturalia cheese selection and it became clear we were served goat's cheese. Mistakes can happen, but I'm very disappointed that they lied and that I consumed an animal product for the first time in years. My stomach isn't that happy either.
