Bad waffle - Edit
I went there with my friends and we were all disappointed. The waffles weren't tasty and much too expensive. I do not recommend.

Nice restaurant with many vegan options - Edit
Vegan options are clearly marked. Staff was very friendly. Not a lot of seating. The lighting could be more cozy and in November it was quite cold. I had the about us focaccia which includes a small soup. The soup was only lukewarm but the focaccia was very tasty. I had the raspberry waffles as dessert and it was yummy but also pricey.

Vegan Belgium Waffles - Edit
This lovely little café is tucked down a side road off the Grand Place (the road opposite the town hall) and is quite the find. They have an extensive menu of waffles and focaccia sandwiches - with vegg (egg substitute) and seitan bacon.
Read moreThe breakfast menu was pretty mouthwatering but I opted for a peanut butter and banana waffle. It's not that easy to find vegan waffles so it'd be foolish not to try these.
Pros: Waffles, Good coffee, Range of healthy alternatives
Cons: Not entirely vegan

Very good! - Edit
I went back again for dinner in this place and about the dish I was even more satisfied! This time I ordered the "Take a smile" focaccia with seitan "bacon", tomato, avocado, mushrooms, "mayo" and lettuce. Delicious! The flavors were well balanced and it was accompanied by a small bowl of pumpkin soup which I enjoyed. The staff as the last time very kind. Recommended!

Hungry sister - Edit
This was a lovely little place. We got there early on a Saturday morning for brunch. We both ordered the vegan omelette and coffee. It was busy and the doors were open, so even inside it was cold. We waited 40 minutes for food. It was nice, but the portions were small, and we were very hungry. The coffee was lovely, as were the staff.

Not a great place for big hunger - Edit
This place seemed so great so I guess I might have took the wrong order… my budda Bowl was pretty small, very unseasoned and didn’t satisfy me at all. The vegan waffles sounded pretty great as well as the raw cakes. Maybe i should have stuck to one of the sweet options instead…

Great service but lackluster food - Edit
I ended up eating here twice (because the other place I wanted to eat at was closed) on an overnight trip to Brussels, and both times I had the same experience: lovely and super helpful staff, but the food was not worth the price. I am still super thankful to have an opportunity to enjoy Belgium food as a vegan/Celiac, but I was hoping for more with the cost of the items. The sandwich was bland, the beer was AMAZING (especially to me as someone who rarely drinks), and the waffle was also meh (maybe because it's sugar free haha). Overall, I would come here once to have a drink and maybe try an appetizer, but just eat here knowing that you're paying for the overall experience.

Decent Food–Mostly Presentation - Edit
Very rustic and quaint restaurant that specializes in sandwiches, soups, and smaller grain bowls. The cute drawstring presentation is present in most of their dishes, which are put on charcuterie boards and other country-designed plates. The food itself was okay, as there wasn’t a lot of transformation of the ingredients and many of them were just kinda put on top of one another.

Nice cosy meal on a rainy day - Edit
I’m traveling with my friend and this Cafe/Restaurant suit our needs! We were so hungry but besides being simple and light, everything together fill us up. People are nice. The environment its great and the food very tasteful. The only bad thing its that the salty waffle its to expensive for the size. I definitely recommend the Beet Falafel!

Tasty quick meal - Edit
Came here wanting something light which was good since the menu seemed slightly overpriced. We had the soup which was all we wanted and was the cheapest (€5). It came with a slice of bread, slightly stingy slice. The soup itself tasted really good and was a generous portion. Filled us up for the rest of the evening!
