Quick. Vegan. Affordable.

Try a rolled sandwich or the vegan chili. Super cheap and super tasty! Be aware of the dairy in some of the dressings. Great hummus and babaganouj.

HAVE THE MOCK DUCK CURRY!

02 Feb 2012

The mock duck curry is wonderful. Worth going out of your way.

Big beautiful restaurant (formerly a massive bank) & great staff.

Fabulous cocktails, too. Their pear vodka & lychee sake Martini is one of the best tipples I've had anywhere in the world!

FRESH & FUNKY: Something for everyone!

02 Feb 2012

Fresh salads and interesting hot dishes as well. Quick & easy 'boxes' to go. Priced by 3-selection & 4-selection boxes, as I remember. Very central & convenient. Caters to vegans & raw foodist as well ... yet very popular with meat-eaters, too.

The cafe itself is cute & well-painted. Dynamic even. Funky & fabulous!

Recommended. I worked around the corner and ate there twice a week. Appreciated the freshness & diversity of food.

Never met anyone who DIDN'T like it! :-)

People drive from miles around to go to The Flaming Icecube. One of my favourites is the chik'n quesadilla appetizer -- JUST PHENOMENAL! Many great daily specials, too. Check out the dessert bar.

Yummy. Affordable. Vegan. Nothing bad to say!

When I moved back to Atlanta from London, I was astounded to find that not only did I live near a vegan restaurant but also one that delivered to me. Best faux chicken I've ever had! Try the drumsticks. Fun! Affordable. Nothing negative to say about the place or the food. Lovely staff. I miss them!

Fjallgatan 23 B, Stockholm, Sweden

Simply wonderful!

Just off from Gamla Stan after a lovely walk along the waterway, Herman's is a divine find. Friendly & warm. Probably the best place to eat vegan/veg in Stockholm. Nothing but happy memories for me. I eat there every single time I'm in Stockholm.

GORGEOUS! And I used to eat there every week ...

Lovely staff. Great food. Pure joy that I lived around the corner (back when it was called Peking Palace). Not one bad thing to say ... (-:

Best hippy food hangout in Akron!

Always fresh & fabulous, Miss Julie does vegan well! Not one for using anything processed, it's almost always whole food freshly made. Menu changes daily. Shops locally & sources responsibly. Not only good cooked food but also raw treats, locally produced baked good, seasonal & local items to take home and KALE CHIPS! :-) Responsible in the community, co-hosts film nights with The Akron Peace Project and knows her stuff about both vegan & raw foods eating. Talk to her!

We love the Reuben!

03 Feb 2012

Try the seitan Reuben with vegan dressing & Daiya cheese! It seems to be all of our gang's favourite overall.

Make their own rolled tofu 'chicken' - GORGEOUS!

Try their General Tso's faux chicken ... we go out of our way for it. Lots of vegan options or make up your own. Friendly staff & capable kitchen!

Yummy stuff at all hours ... healthy even!

02 Feb 2012

While neither completely vegetarian or vegan, it is VERY veg-friendly. When I went vegetarian in the 90s, I already knew I could eat there. Same with going vegan more recently. Try the HOME BOWL. And the vegan sloppy joe.

51 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, West London, England

My favourite 'expensive' veggie place!

Incredible food. Constantly changing & exciting menu. Worth the trip & bother to find it (it's sorta' hidden under a church!). Gourmet food & a lovely environment. RECOMMENDED TO BOTH THE LONDONER & THE TRAVELLER! :-)
