Vegan restaurant opened 2016 by the owners of Taste From Heaven. Serves a large selection of Thai and Western dishes. Example of choices include thai noodles, pineapple fried rice, gyoza, burger and fries, English breakfast, tofu scramble baguette sandwich, brownies, porridge, pesto pasta, waffles and ice cream. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-10:00pm.

Really enjoyed the food we had here - we came here 2 days in a row.
Read moreFor mains, we got the Massaman, Penang, Red Curry, and a Pad See Ew (changed the Texturised Soy Protein for Tofu). All were delicious! For dessert, we got the brownie on it's own which was absolutely amazing. Would recommend all of those dishes. Curries are between 85-95 thb. Brownie was 60 thb.
We also got Pina Coladas, which were so-so. Could definitely use more coconut cream/milk, but were still tasty.
Service was fabulous from all staff. Well done Vegan Heaven!

I called into Vegan Heaven for lunch today ... I had massaman curry with black rice ฿120 ... the quanity and quality of the food was good ... very extensive vegan menu ... Vegan Heaven is located in the beer bar area of Loi Kroh Road ... update after third visit: downgraded from 4 to 3 stars - I went to Vegan Heaven for dinner this evening ... I ordered a tofu burger but I received a vegi burger ... the vegi patty was not particularly nice and maybe under cooked ... my Thai friend ordered a noodle soup that she thought was 'mai koy aroi' ... this evening the owner was not present only a number of young staff and the restaurant had a very different feel to when the owner is there ... update after forth visit - downgraded from 3 to 2 stars ... I ordered pad see ew and was disappointed with the quality of the food ... the mock meat was soggy, tasteless and appeared not to have been properly cooked

Favourite restaurant in Asia - Edit
Literally the best place ever, everything on the menu here is incredible. I even took my meat eater friend and she loved all of it. The best was probably the waffle and the vegan hotdog. They do sides of vegan bacon and cheese which tasted like the real thing! Out of everywhere I went in Chiang Mai this was by far the best and had the best staff!

Good value for money at a restaurant that looks a bit like Burger King with plastic tables and neon. However, food was very good and value for money. All vegan. Tasty spicy cauliflower wings, northern Thai style curry and pumpkin curry with rice which were full of flavour. Friendly staff. Look out for the vegan superstar quotes on the wall!

After days and days of eating Thai food (which I love) I needed a change. Vegan heaven was awesome. They have Thai food on the menu but also more "American" food as well. I ordered the "Chicken" Wrap and added vegan cheese. It was massive and delicious. Also ordered Spicy Cauliflower Wings which were also great - crispy and had a little kick. The person I was with just ordered onion rings and a bottled water. The total bill came to 280 baht... so affordable! Wish I didn't leave the day after I went here or I would have gone back. Highly recommend.

Being a pure vegan place I wanted to like it. I ordered the veggie burger. The patty seemed like it was thrown together 6 months ago and stuck in the freezer then heated up. Thin, no flavor, blah. The menu is rather large so they must have some things they do well. You might have to eat here 50 times to find it though. My suggestion is to cut the menu by 80% and do those items really well. Here for a month but Not sure I'll be back.

Hello UtahNate, sorry that you didn't like our Veggie Burger. I can assure you that the burger patties along with all our food is prepared fresh daily. The veggie burger is a very good seller but we understand that not everybody is a fan of the primarily black bean based patty. Seems a bit unfair that you gave such a damning review purely based on that. In regards to the extensive menu, most of our dishes are Thai curries, soups and stir frys that use the same ingredients with various quantities so unlike most western menus we are able to offer a greater volume of options. We nearly ate there everyday because it was so near to our hotel. The western food is delicious but not so healthy, but the thai food is so delicious. Always fresh food and very nice staff.

The modern restaurant was easy to reach and the stuff was friendly. I had a huge hummus wrap for 95thb and couldn't try the amazing looking brownies and waffles with ice cream anymore.

we have been to its sister restaurant a number of times and were delighted to find this less than five minutes walks away. The menu is the same as taste from heaven so the same extensive menu and the same problem of what to choose for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is all good. We have been a number of times and really like this bigger and quieter restaurant where you can get a seat at night, If you are in the centre of Chiang Mai and can't get a seat at the other restaurant or are staying close by, do give this a visit and try something new on the menu.

If you need a vegan safe bet this is the place in Chiang Mai center. Thai food was ok at best, western food - sandwiches and hotdogs were great. There is however one big let down - I saw a big pile of eggs in the kitchen. The place claims to be 100% vegan. I hope someone can explain.

They use their own seperate utensils to prepare their food. Please understand that whilst myself and my partner our Vegan finding other Vegans to work their is an almost impossible ask as we are not legally allowed to hire anyone other than Thai persons.

My boyfriend and I were in Chiang Mai for over a week and ate here nearly everyday. There was so much choice everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed every meal.

For our last meal after spending 4 days in Chiang Mai, we decided to come here as Vegan Heaven had very good reviews. I ordered a deep fried mushroom appetizer with a sweet and sour stir fry fish. My wife chose a similar stir fry dish but had no issues with her dish.
Read moreThe mushrooms tasted okay but once I started on the stir fry dish, something in the sauce didn't taste right (best way to describe it was something tasted like ***?). I continued to eat my entire plate and then went to use the bathroom. I saw the kitchen on the way upstairs to use the bathroom and noticed the unclean state of it.

Rule of thumb. Check the cleanliness of the bathroom before you order your meal. And also, don't eat somewhere that has too many dishes to choose from.

We were relieved to find an all vegan menu. The pad Thai, samosas, and gyoza were excellent. We found that taste needed attention on a few items like the chicken burger, which didn't have much flavor, and the lemon ice tea, which was too sour to drink. But with the help of their yummy vegan mayonnaise the burger was remedied. Price is very cheap compared to other nearby veggie restaurants.

During my stay in chiang Mai I've eaten here maybe 4-5 times and every time was delighted. The food is delicious and at great prices. Sometimes the portions are a little bit small but the prices are cheaper so it makes sense. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and my friend and I loved it so much we just kept coming back for more. Very pleasant atmosphere as well. Overall 10/10

First Vegan Restaurant!! About time!! - Edit
This is the first western style sit-down and order fully vegan restaurant in Chiang Mai. It is such a relief not to have to worry about anything at all right down to the condiments - they have vegan mayo and everything. You can expect all the tasty dishes from their sister branch nearby - (Taste From Heaven) except everything here is fully vegan. Vegan cheese, vegan ice-cream, everything you could want. A much-needed winner for Chiang Mai!!
