Great food

Great selection of food and drinks. I loved the quotes they had on the walls from celebs and why they’re vegan. I had the ‘chicken’ wrap and omg it was delicious! I don’t think I’ve had anything so nice since! My girlfriend had the crispy ‘chicken’ burger and loved it also.

Pros: 100% vegan , Lots to chose from , Great decor

Tasty feed

I didn’t eat in the restaurant but rather got it delivered through food panda. I was impressed! The chicken burger had a good taste and good crunch to it. The hot dog was very believable and the cauliflower wings were delicious. Huge menu, keen to try out some more of it!

Good lunch

We ordered a brunch plate, samossas and a burger with fries. The brunch was very good! But the burger was too dry, no sauce at all. Samossas were good but didn't taste like real indian samossas. We were lucky for Christmas they offered us one brownie. It's more like a chocolate cake but it was very good. We even ordered one the next day for delivery. We hate wasted food so we asked if you could eat the end of a customer's brownie cause it was going to be put in a rubbish and they said OK with smile. Really friendly staff!

Experience according to name

he place is great and near the night market, so you can grab a bite after doing some shopping. We arrived 1 hour before they closed and they still managed to bring appetizer, main and dessert realy fast. The food is great (tho very spicy) and quite cheap. Brownie with ice cream is a must try as a way to heal the throat after eating some chilli.

Pros: Cheap, Western and Thai dishes, Fast

Cons: Limited seating according to day/ tourist seasom, Medium spicy = REALLY SPICY

Had high expectations…

After reading the reviews of this place I was pretty excited to visit and while the food was okay it wasn’t anything special. The “chicken” in the burger was quite greasy and the food was only slightly warm.

That aside, the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable, though there are better places in Chiang Mai for the same price.

Pros: Lots on the menu to choose from, Indoor seating, 100% vegan

Cons: Food didn’t come out hot

Delicious

Really good food and very reasonably priced. I had the vegan breakfast (option C) that came with hash browns, sausage, baked beans, scrambled tofu, toast, fried tomato and a small salad. Also included an orange juice and hot drink, all for 150 baht. Amazing.

Only complaint is that the scrambled tofu was bland and watery, but a bit of salt fixed it right up.

Update: had the vegan breakfast again and the tofu was on point this time. The rest tasted just as good.

I also had the spaghetti with tomato sauce and really enjoyed it. Very nice, rich and flavourful sauce.

Chocolate ice cream (made from coconut) for 30 baht was delicious.

Bland food

I got the Tom Yom Soup, as it's hard to find a vegan version elsewhere. I found it bland, even though I asked for it to be made spicy. Huge menu, so you can find something you like (Western or Thai), but the food was subpar. I expected better for 80 baht.

Pros: Lots of options, Thai and Western food

Cons: Bland, Expensive

The chocolate brownie is more-so a chocolate cake

I’ve come here on a few occasions and was only disappointed the time I ordered sushi (boring). Other than that I’ve enjoyed the hummus veggie wrap, the big breakfast set C, and the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream (more so a chocolate ‘cake’, which cheap vanilla essence ice cream).

Everything is always quite cheap and value for money, the staff work super hard and are always busy, the place is relatively nice, and the food is quite quick to be served. Come here for sure for a variety of dishes!

Good food and great service

I went to Vegan Heaven a few times while in Chiang Mai. Every dish I had was good and the service/staff was always great.

Perfect!

The food is amazing and the staff is lovely. The prices are reasonable and there are many options, with all types of meals (Thai and not Thai).
I also recommend their cooking class, I took it and it was great. They even print you a nice recipe book with the five recipes that you chose.

Great Place!

The food was great and friendly service. The apple pancakes were my favorite. Nice to find a vegan place that serves traditional style American breakfast. Definitely plan on returning to try the other options.

Pros: Everything vegan, Excellent prices, Many options to choose from

Amazing vegan "junk" food !

Have had the pizzas and hotdogs from here, it's all amazing and well priced. It's vegan junk food so it's only a little bad for you and not bad for any other beings :)

Pros: Great range of westerner junk food, Good serving sizes

Really good food

You can choose many different meals. I had taste three different and there were really greet.
It's a little pity, that the place is little bit loud, no air-conditioning and only one toilet.

Pros: Many vegan meals

Cons: A little bit expensive

Delicious

I went there almost every day of my Chiang Mai trip, so I've tried quite a few of the dishes (hot dog, BLT, tom yum soup, rard-na noodle soup, brownie, ice cream) and all of them were tasty. I especially recommend trying the soups, they were absolutely delicious. The rard-na soup is sooo interesting.
It's moderately priced, you can get mains from 90 baht on.

Pros: Loads of different food to chose from

Cons: May have to wait a minute or two

Loved the food

Stopped in for breakfast and had the Traditional English Breakfast and loved it. I've had vegan versions of this before in other places including England. And I found this the best I've had so far.

Pros: Great menu

Cons: Cash only

An OK place to get Vegan Food

Having been to their another location (Taste From Heaven) we were not sure what to expect. Decided to give it a try. Were seated quite quickly and we ordered quickly after as well. The walls are adorned with quotes from celebrities about veganism.

Ordered the Cauliflower Wings (Fritters). The cauliflower super crunchy on the outside and nice and soft inside. The fritters is covered in a sweet and spicy runny sauce. It was a bit too sweet for our taste.

We had a Falafel sandwich and Red Curry and Traditional Red/Brown Rice. The Falafels were OK and the pita quite different from the taste we have been used too. The Red Curry good but I love the rice. Gottten quite used to and now prefer than the white rice. Had a smoothie as well which was OK.

The menu is very similar to the Taste from Heaven but completely veganized.

Pros: All Vegan

I felt a bit sad.

Well.. I wouldn't go to this restaurant again. No soul. Just cheap fast vegan junk food. Not all of them. I just tried one menu. It was noodle soup. As a vegan noodle brain. It was very disappointing.

Great little place!

Vegan heaven does what it says on the tin - amazing vegan food with a variety of Thai and Western choices. I particularly loved the spaghetti with vegan cheese 😝

Excellent choice

As with taste from heaven there’s a massive range on the menu. I like that there is western and Thai choices available. The deserts are amazing, something often missed in vegan places in SE Asia. Great place to eat.

Authentic mock meat but...

We had the chicken burger and hot dog meal. The mock meat was very authentic but it tasted all very oily/fat and was no pleasure to eat although you have no "healthy expectations" for this kind of dishes. Staff speaks english and was friendly.

Not Bad

Had the vegan chicken burger. It was fresh but did not have very much taste. The staff was very nice though. Maby ill come back for the breakfast, which seems to have the most positive comments here.

Update: Went there a second time. I had mushroom satey and stir fried red curry paste. Both dishes where very good.

Pros: Everything is vegan, Lot of options, Nice staff

Cons: Some dishes are bland, Bad vibes in the loi kroh rd

I can't believe it's not bacon

Phenomenal vegan breakfast (like how do you even make vegan bacon taste like actual bacon) at very decent prices. Only place in Thailand where I could find vegan toast with cheese,a Thai staple of mine I was looking for for years.
Can't recommend this place enough.

Cons: Quotes from ex-vegans hanging on the wall, reeeeee, (Steve-O, Ellen DeGeneres)
