Friendly staff and great food, many options. Went here several times and can especially recommend the pad Thai and the vegan burger!

An absolute MUST if you are in Chiang Mai

My only regret about this place is that I didn't have the chance to eat here more! It was probably the best food I had while in Chiang Mai, and was a nice haven with very promising veganized Thai food. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and thought it was cute how they served it in a pineapple... The staff was very prompt and kind, too. It was a bit pricy, but it was well worth it and great to see a thriving vegan restaurant in a very meat-heavy city!

Heavenly Experience

Went here for dinner with my wife and it didn't disappoint. It was probably the best overall experience we have had at an all-vegan restaurant to date.

When we arrived it was pretty busy, but we were looked after straight away. We ordered and our drinks came soon after and all of our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering and was all fresh and hot.

We ordered the Gyoza to start, which was really tasty with a good sauce to go with it. The Gyoza itself was borderline too salty, but the beer I was having relieved some of that. For mains we ordered the Panang Curry and some rice to go with it. This was my favourite dish it was so delicious I can't even describe how happy it made us. We also ordered a Pad Thai, which was also very good. We decided to get dessert since we were enjoying ourselves so much and decided on the Waffles with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Hot, light and fluffy, with the vanilla to cool it down was just heaven.

Price for entire meal which filled us up and made us happy including one starters, two mains and rice, 2 large beers, and dessert came to 560 THB. I think that is pretty good considering the service, food quality, and atmosphere.

Pros: Great food, Great Service, Great atmosphere

Cons: Borderline too salty

Best vegan food in Chiang Mai by a mile

Was not expecting much from a restaurant called "vegan heaven", (which I normally associate with bitter brownies and tasteless "Buddha bowls"), but this place is fantastic.

The food is delicious and authentic, the service fantastic, and it's actually open until a reasonable time, whereas most restaurants in Chiang Mai seem to close ridiculously early!

Went here 3 times and didn't have one dish that wasn't excellent.

Pros: Excellent food, Great service, Open late (for Chiang Mai!)

simple and easy

I enjoyed a vegan khao soy, it was nice & tasty.
I also had the mushroom skewers & money bags. I can't complain at all about the whole experience. It was nice to see a vegan restaurant open at 9pm at night on a busy night shopping/ bar street.
Enjoy the food , smile , say thank you & keep enjoying your day.

❤️🍀❤️

They serve the best strawberry & banana smoothie and the best hot dog ever! Very friendly staff. However, it's not everything on the menu that is worth ordering - their scramble egg is really awful.. the food is a bit greasy but overall a really nice place.

You are so right, looks like we have the same kind of taste. I also loved the smoothie and the hot dog. But just as you said, some things are really good and others you can really forget.

Delicious Food

I went here with my roommate (who isn't vegan) and we ordered a ton of things off the menu. Everything was so good. The menu has so many options. I'd say the portions might be a bit small if you order just one thing, but other than that, I can't think of anything to complain about. I really enjoyed it.

Pros: Great Food, Good Prices, Free Wi-Fi

Cons: None

All vegan, even the chicken!

Great vegan restaurant, wedged between the Old Town and the Night Bazar. Staff were attentive and the food was all delicious, ate here on three seperate occasions and had the brownie twice!

Pros: All vegan, Thai food, air-con

Cons: Costs more than standard thai food

worst food ever

I order for a vegan hot dog, suppose to come with 'caramelized' onions. vegan gioza.
Food arrived and the French bread for the hot dog was old and hard as wood. Impossible to eat, 'caramelized' onion was far from it.. white onion full of oil.. just a drop of it inside the bread. I complained about the bread, I showed to the lady it was impossible to eat, she said it was like this. I asked a sandwich bread, maybe it would be possible to still enjoy my meal, and more onions, since it was really little. She brought me cold bread, I asked her to toast it.. she just put it in the microwave.. when I saw and mentioned that I didn't want it.. she was mad. Just ate the franks and chips.. gioza was not integrated.. I had to eat with a spoon and it was awful and no taste. This restaurant is well rated.. but maybe I picked the wrong day? Don't know.. a pity.
The waiters are only thai ppl, and the onwer who's picture is in the menu was not there.. they don't even care if you like your food or not.

Pros: place is nice

Cons: bad service, bad food quality

All the Thai classics veganised!

Great little vegan restaurant in chiang mai centre, it was so yummy, efficient service and freshly cooked &prepared my mum and I went back there to eat 3 times during our stay! One of my highlights was a refreshing cucumber juice and black jasmine rice with Tom Yum to however spicy you'd like it - highly recommended!

Pros: extensive menu from thai classics to english break

Cons: none

We've come back three times!

Huge menu, friendly staff, great intentions, multiple (great) locations ~ it's wonderful to have vegan options of all the thai classics. You really can't go wrong here. The vegan breakfast platter is HUGE! I added avocado and vegan bacon and just WOW! Yum :)

Pros: Great location , Huge vegan menu, good vibes and nice staff

Cons: some processed foods (hashbrowns, sausage)

would love to give 5 stars

The food and value are great. Location is close to the night market.
My only suggestion is to stop styrofoam packaging for take away food. There are so many eco-friendly options available in CM, and if given the option, I would be happy if you add 20 baht for better packaging when ordering take away...

Great variety and 100% vegan!

Loved this place--it's a vegan paradise for sure. I got the "chicken" burger and loved it (though pricier than the other options at 135baht; most are more like 95). Skip the coffee shake as it doesn't really taste like coffee, and the sushi didn't wow. Tried the pumpkin curry as well and it was delicious. Overall amazing place and I wish I had longer in Chiang Mai to go back!

Pros: Fully vegan, Lots of options, Delicious fake meats

Cons: A bit pricier than some other places, Sushi wasn't great

just ok.

Maybe I'm spoiled in LA, but I found the food to be a bit behind in today's vegan market. The environment was not very creative and the food was just ok. I was not wowed or that satisfied. Still, I'm glad it's there and another option for vegans to eat at!

huge menu, great food and staff

this popular restaurant has LOTS of vegan options, as you can see from the pictures of the menu, it's huge!

definitely visit vegan heaven 1 or 2 on your stay.

i ate here quite a bit on my last stay in Chiang mai, but once i found vegan heaven 2, i never went back! mainly because of its more central location. its okay though, because they're all owned by the same person. :)

its completely feasible to have a good raw meal here as well as cooked western or Asian food. really good selection of dishes, and they all arrive in very timely manner!

i liked the salads, the black rice with green veges, the hummus and salad wrap, the falafel pits pocket (a bit salty but still delicious) and the HOT DOG. :)
this location also has a sink and towels to use to wash up with when you're done! awesome.

Pros: HUGE menu, great prices, friendly and cute staff, lots of seating

Cons: a little out of the center, no tempeh! but vegan heaven 2 has it...

The best vegan spot!

So convenient, so fairly priced, so delicious! My gf and I came here every day while we were in Chiang Mai. We'll miss it back in the States!
Veggie stir fries with black rice are great. Shakes are great. English-style breakfast combos are great.

Pros: Delicious, Good Value, Quick
