nice vegan offering ‘but a bit beige’ - Edit
Being 100% vegan can only give great plaudits. Unfortunately there is no real healthy (wholefood/green) food available.
Read moreFor just a snack and cocktails/drinks would give it 5* great variety of bits you don’t find often.
So if your generally looking for a deep fried ‘beige’ kind of meal then it’s worth the 4-5*, just don’t expect much veg, even the mushy peas / beans / coleslaw on the side is a very poor offering (think one tablespoon) like a lot of other places unfortunately!
It seems if you have allergies or want anything slightly different then very little choice for you!
The soup was best bit (bit salty) but big 5* to the sourdough bread with it!
Setting and staff made it a good experience.
Pros: Drink choice variety, nice setting, Mostly tasty well presented food
Cons: Generally fatty beige oily food, tiny side portion offerings, Not good for choice/variety for allergenic people

We had a fabulous meal here when we came up to Norwich for my birthday weekend. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in - always book! We enjoyed the fried pickles to start and for main I went for the ribs, when they first came out they weren't too warm in the middle but when I notified the waitress they were swiftly replaced by a steaming replacement. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for!

We visited at 2pm and unfortunately a lot of options were not available. The food was good - all of it deep fried and oily. The imagination of the menu was really good but people after a healthy option - this place isn’t for you.

Fantastic food, great staff, awesome music playing in the background....this is one of the best vegan restaurants i have ever been to! The menu was extraordinary and I wanted to order everything. There was nothing typical or boring in sight. What a wonderful little vegan (heaven) restaurant it was and I will definitely go every time I visit the city. Thanks to the staff, who I did ask their names but forgot on the way home.....

Wov - lovely food, staff and atmosphere - Edit
We went there for the dinner and it was absolutely amazing. I felt in love with this place - everything around is so great from the food to the lovely paintings. Food - wov, never had something great like this and definetely are coming back, cocktails - I think we tried all of them - so interesting and tasty, staff - our waiter Joe (sorry, if I am wrong) he did all of the cocktails for us - very friendly.

Our second visit (first was for an excellent brunch), this time in the evening. One vegan, one omni and one vegetarian: food was delicious, service was charming and the cocktails are amazing. Good to see the place so busy… and the Christmas menu sounds fab!

Read moreHave tried loads on the menu and it is all so good. The chips which are served with the steak sandwich are some of the best chips I've ever tasted.
The steak sandwich is my personal favourite but all other options are delicious too.
The deserts are also amazing, my favourite being the chocolate tart.
Staff are really lovely and welcoming.
They play some really nice background music too!

I was visiting Norwich on my own and wasn’t quite sure about going solo to a bar on a Saturday night. I needn’t have worried, the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was buzzy but not at all intimidating.

I would recommend booking a table on a Saturday night, they were very busy.

Cozy, chilled, very very friendly staff, they were fab with our 3 & 8 year old kids, food was spectacular (peanut butter choc cake 😍). We had two Irish Breakfasts and a Portobello Mushroom Burger - all really tasty. Pineapple Sour Mocktail was gorgeous.

Super duper lovely & friendly staff! We came for lunch & had a hard time deciding! We went with the Mexican hash which was beautifully flavoured and so filling! We tried the Kombucha (if you've never tried it, you need to) its home made & was so refreshing and tasty. Tipsy Vegan has such a great atmosphere and a lovely large window! Would recommend and we'll be coming here to try the dinner menu soon x

This hand made vegan steak sandwich was just amazing. So much flavour. The restaurant itself was very well presented and the staff were welcoming. Other than being expensive to dine I have noting but positive words to give.

Excellent Vegan Restaurant - Edit
The Tipsy Vegan in St Benedicts St Norwich opened in June and is owned by the same girls at Bia Vegan Diner on Norwich Market. I have now been three times since they opened this cocktail bar/ restaurant, which is a first for Norwich, and everything about it, the food, the drinks, the staff and the ambience is first class. I really do not know how they come up with the excellent menu.
