A Real treat!! - Edit
Found through the app, went for a pre theatre dinner. I think my hubby was a bit dubious about the small plates but he was totally won over.
Read moreWe had a lovely sharing platter to start, fairly convenitial but with some amazing pickled courgettes (you had to there) We chose 6 small plates between us which turned out to be more than enough...honestly I can't fault anything...we had a Korean bao bun, buttermilk burger, paprika style potatoes, miso patron peppers, a lovely filo pastry and some kind of croquettes. They were all a real treat and we felt hugely satisfied. Must give a nod to the drinks too...we had a couple of mock tails which were both original and tasty.
Would definitely go back!
Pros: Very friendly, Knowledgeable about the dishes

Great food and venue - Edit
Discovered through Happy Cow app and not a disappointment!
Read moreLovely vibe in this restaurant with relaxed, fun decor and really lovely friendly and helpful staff.
Menu is great and we loved that they had a separate kids menu with great choices (not the standard something with chips and beans like so many other places!). Kiss ordered buttermilk sliders with mac and cheese followed by Spanish toast dessert. Both pretty much cleared their plates and loved dessert!
We ordered (far too much!) a bit of everything (Tofu was my favourite) and didn't dislike anything (although mushroom tacos weren't favourites for us). Our food was all served lovely and hot a fresh and presentation was lovely. Great portions (we ordered six things between two of us and it was about one dish too manybreally).
The thing to really write home about though is the drinks! Strawberry and Basil lemonade was especially brilliant! I also had a Watermelon cocktail which was frankly the nicest cocktail I have ever had. I might well make the journey to Norwich again just for that (although that smacks of having a problem so I'd best order more Tofu too!)
Great meal enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Pros: Great options, Clean, Friendly
Cons: None!

Lovely Restaurant - Edit
We have been here several times and love it. We hoped to pop in for lunch when they opened post lockdown but they were completely booked so I will book in advance next time. (We usually do but have popped in several times pre-lockdown for an early lunch and been okay for just 2 of us!)

A little Gem - Edit
Following recommendations on this app, my friend and I gave the Tipsey Vegan a go on a recent trip to Norwich.
Read moreFirstly we felt very safe under the Covid restrictions and the measures that were in place. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. They gave us a warm welcome which was nice.
The restaurant has a twenties feel with light jazz playing in the background. Pictures of Al Capone and the US prohibition made our delicious cocktails taste even better!!
The menu was concise but full of adventurous delights. We were not disappointed with our choices.
I can highly recommend the mushroom and chorizo linguini.
We can’t wait for our next trip to Norwich as we will certainly be heading back for another visit.
Pros: Friendly staff, Nice ambient atmosphere, Great choice of tapas and mains
Cons: Only two options for desert

Loved the excellent tapas selection we had at this fabulous, totally vegan restaurant in the heart of Norwich. All the dishes were really tasty and well-presented, the service was excellent & the ambience relaxed & cheerful. We also tried a couple of mocktails & the sweets were divine!

First visit - Edit
We went as a family of four and was impressed with the service and food on offer. As this was on the government eat out to help out scheme it was incredibly good value. I have one child who eats quite a restrictive diet so was anxious. I needn’t have worried. Everyone loved it and would go again.

Good food always - Edit
The tipsy will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s the first restaurant my mum took me to when we first started to visit Norwich 4 years ago. She worked there at the time and previously visited it when it was a market stall (bia’s, I believe it was called). Consequently we never fail to book a visit whenever we are in town and this weekend was no exception. Having been here a few times now, I can say that I have tried all the tapas and I know my favourites and things I wouldn’t chose again. The first time we visited all those years ago we had the Spanish omelette, after it being a while we decided to have it again today unfortunately I was a little disappointed in its size and lack of flavour especially having recently making my own at home. Don’t get me wrong it’s still great food I just feel it’s time to add more items to the menu and “jazz” things up a bit that’s all :). More to this we ate more food and had more alcoholic beverages the day before at another well established vegan restaurant and the bill was the same price. However they always make a great Bloody Mary that isn’t on the menu😄

Favourite restaurant in Norwich - Edit
Love this place and couldn't wait to get back there after lockdown from covid-19. The tapas options are amazing, particularly the coconut tofu which is my favourite. We are also trying to socialise and train our little 5month old puppy, and the staff were so helpful and accomodating.

Fantastic evening - Edit
We visited The Tipsy Vegan last week, for the first time. It was superb from start to finish. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the mocktails were fun, imaginative, and very tasty, and the food was wonderful. I had an almond "ricotta" canneloni, and really couldn't tell the difference between that and a dairy one. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Fab desserts! - Edit
We took my husbands nephew to sample the delights of vegan food at The Tipsy Vegan and I think he was suitably impressed. Both he and my husband had the buttermilk burger which they found very nice indeed. I had three tapas dishes, the Korean bbq bao bun, the Lebanese borek and Papas Rellenas which I found ok but not mind blowing. The guys also ordered desserts which I do have to say were outstanding! A little pricey but worth a visit if you’re in Norwich.

New fave vegan spot - Edit
Oh my goodness, we went for brunch on a Saturday and luckily arrived early as it did get busy and we hadn't booked. We ended up ordering both of the specials. A full cooked breakfast and pancakes. Both were absolutely amazing. We had coffee and juice each. Choice of plant milks which is always a bonus.
Read moreStaff were absolutely lovely too, and service was quick.
Only gripe would be that the pancakes and breakfast came out at the same time, but probably my fault for not requesting a delay.
Will definitely be making a point of going back to Norwich for the dinner menu as that looked fab too.
Pros: Staff were brilliant, Good portion size, Lovely drinks options
Cons: Slightly expensive
