Was really impressed with this place. Great friendly atmosphere and interesting choices on the menu. I had the buttermilk seitan burger which was just delicious. My 9 yr old had the pesto pasta which he has asked to go & have again soon as he enjoyed it so much.

Quirky and delicious - Edit
This restaurant is awesome, especially as I was bringing my omnivore boyfriend who has gone vegan for 30 days (woop!) The staff are super approachable, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere as it is cosy and surrounded by old photos and posters. The drinks menu alone would make me come back, with specials like ‘Christmas in Cuba’ and hot toddy’s on the regular menu, with non alcoholic options available. Then we moved onto the food which was very original. There is a breakfast menu (which we are returning for) and then a mains menu from 3pm. Not only is it reasonably priced, but it aims to give twists to regular restaurant meals - our favourite tapas being the ‘Italian Meatballs’ and my favourite meal the ‘Fish and Chips’. I can see why this restaurant is the top voted in Norwich, would highly recommend to vegans and non vegans alike (especially those that need a little encouragement!)

Good options, but needs work on flavours - Edit
We ordered the full rack of tempeh ribs, jalapeno poppers, arancini and meatballs between two people. It was quite a lot of food for 2 people as although the portions didn't look big they were really filling. It was great to see some different options which aren't available in most places.
Read moreRegarding the food itself, the jalapeno poppers were small bits of jalapeno mixed with tofu and deep fried and tasted more oily than anything else, and the arancini and meatballs both didn't have a particularly strong flavour. If they worked a little bit on the flavour then this place would be amazing.
Pros: Lots of options which are different to most places, Nice setting
Cons: Food was lacking flavour

Top notch for Vegans - Edit
Visited here tonight as in town for business. Had the portobello mushroom burger which was one of the nicest I’ve tasted. Came with a nice portion of chunky herb and Parmesan chips or salad and slaw, I had both as I’m greedy. All that for about £13.

Good food - Edit
The food was tasty but the felt a little stale. Tempeh Ribs was delicious but had a weird smell to it, Seitan Chorizo Croquettes was so tasty that had ordered it twice then again the same weird smell but Hazelnut frappe was extremely good. A good restaurant with decent service and ambience.

Great vegan spot - Edit
We popped in for Friday night dinner - friendly staff and lovely food. The fish and chips were really good as was the coconut Thai dish. The puddings were definitely the best - we went back on Sunday to try the others too - Panna cotta was really good as was the tiramisu- and great to have a selection of gf puddings too.

Friendly staff & fab food - Edit
Completely vegan menu. We had the Banoffee French toast (£8), Falafel burger (£10) with "parmesan" chips and a side of "calamari" - tasted exactly like real calamari! For dessert we had the panna cotta and treacle tart. The whole menu was so varied and I couldn't fault anything we had. Left feeling very full, but it was so worth it! Staff were also super friendly and accomodating. Will definitely go again. Very reasonable prices.

Food - and, of course, drink - to die for. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere (with a fun 1920's American Bootlegger theme!) and good music too. Staff were very very friendly. I highly reccomend their sharing boards and whisky options!
