The Holy Donut

SO. DAMN. GOOD. Their Park St location and Old Port location offer different flavors which is cool and they often switch up a vegan flavor. They always offer cinnamon sugar and berry glaze but the third flavor is anything from chocolate cannoli to mojito.

These donuts show up on any "must do/see/eat" list for Portland, ME and for good reason. These donuts are phenomenal! Many flavors, but they do sell out quick. Get there early! There is another location on Exchange St.

They have really delicious vegan donuts! Their website says to arrive before 12pm for the best selection. When we arrived around 12:30pm or so, they have two kinds of vegan donuts: cinnamon sugar and chai. I’m under the impression that the selection of flavors changes every day, and there may have been a wider selection had we arrived earlier, but either way the majority of the donut flavors aren’t vegan-friendly. I’d come here all the time and try all the vegan flavors if I lived nearby! They also have coffee with soy or coconut milk that you can add yourself from their fridge. There’s some seating, not a tony, but we were able to get a table.

Delicious! They only had two vegan flavors, but that was enough for me. They had a cinnamon and a triple berry.

I absolutely love the donuts here. It's such a rare treat to get vegan sweets. This place does them right. Highly recommended for any vegan with a sweet tooth.
