Tasty - Edit
The drunken noodles were very good. It's owned by the same folks as the Green Elephant with a similar taste profile but many fewer vegan options.

Great curry - Edit
My husband and I got dinner here recently and loved everything we ate! I got the curry, rice ball, and tofu skewers. My favorite was the rice ball, but everything was yummy! They were a bit crowded for dinner on a Saturday night with an hour wait, but we got takeout, which was prepared quite quickly.

Several PHENOMENAL vegan dishes - Edit
This is a gorgeous thai restaurant, but it's unlike any other thai restaurant I've been to - more on the gourmet side with a very cool vibe. I've heard that it's owned by the same people that own Green Elephant, the popular vegan restaurant in Portland and Portsmouth. I've been here twice now and really love it, PERFECT for mixed company (vegans and non-vegans). The two amazing vegan entrees I've had so far are the Green Curry and the Drunken Noodles. Again, this is not a normal, run-of-the-mill thai restaurant (not that there's anything wrong with that!) - this is a cool, upscale restaurant perfect for dates, special evenings, or stopping in later at night for a drink and an app. Amazing drinks. They also have several vegan apps: tofu skewer, portobello skewer, shiitake skewer, and a kind of artsy spiced, toasted peanuts app. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed with the vegan foods that they have on the menu.

Awesome, delicious Thai food - Edit
Review in the time of coronavirus, aka takeout! Online ordering from their website is super easy and you can schedule a pickup time in advance. Call when you get there and they'll bring it right out.
Read moreSampled a variety of the vegan items including house-fried peanuts, skewers (tofu, shiitake, and portobello), and the red curry jay. Enough food for days! The skewers each had a respective tasty sauce and were sooo good. The curry was warming and hearty, stuffed full of vegetables and tofu. Perfect Thai comfort food. Great first experience here, I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
PS They also have amazing cocktails to go! Really brings a takeout order to a whole new level. We tried the Thai Tea Margarita and the Thai Basil Tom Collins and enjoyed both. Excellent!

Go go go! - Edit
Amazing spot - great late night atmosphere, and amazing vegan options. We go every time we're in Portland. The pad kee mo is amazing, and if you ask for extra-spicy they will not let you down

Yummy - Edit
We had passed up eating at Boda because there were only a few vegan choices and "no substitutions", but we were finally just so curious that we gave it a go. It was well worth the meal, despite having only a few choices. The roasted peanut appetizer was *so* tasty, I could eat that every day. The mushroom skewers were excellent as others have said. The only vegan entree was green curry, and since I make that all the time at home I was reluctant to have to order it at a restaurant, but I was not disappointed, it far exceeded anything I could put together on my own. Despite "no substitutions", the server agreed to bring out the chocolate mousse dessert with coconut cream rather than non-vegan whipped cream, and all was perfect.

Delicious! - Edit
The veggie curry is one of the best I’ve had. It rivals the green elephant’s Panang Curry.

Very good - Edit
We absolutely loved the vegan thai curry and the mushroom skewers ! There’s around 4-5 vegan options on the menu and even more choices for vegetarians. It’s worth a visit!

Fresh and delicious - Edit
I came for an early dinner with a couple of friends. I opted for a lighter meal, ordering the mushroom salad and the sticky rice balls. I really enjoyed the mushroom salad - it was fresh and tangy with a healthy dose of lime. The sticky rice balls were good as well, but they were a bit salty and heavy on soy sauce.
Read moreThey have a nice beer selection and some awesome cocktails. I especially enjoyed the Thai Basil Tom Collins, which I got to steal a sip of from my friend.
Overall, a nice dinner.
Pros: Great cocktails, beers, Fresh food

Warm atmosphere and delicious food - Edit
The mushroom skewers are outrageously good, and the waitstaff we've had (I've been twice) have been knowledgeable about vegan options. Excellent cocktails, and the atmosphere somehow pulls off cozy without being too casual.

A few options available - Edit
Tried out Boda the other night. The owner is the same who owns Green Elephant (a vegetarian restaurant). Originally, he didn't want anything vegan/veg on the menu, but customers kept asking so he had to modify. There are a number of things already vegan - they're marked vegetarian, but most are safe - mushroom and tofu skewers were our favorite. You can ask your server to have the kitchen modify other things and they're happy to oblige. Service is fantastic! Drinks were good too :)

Worth going to if you like the Green Elephant - Edit
This place is owned by the guys who own the Green Elephant, and thus it is pretty easy to make *some* of the dishes vegan. Many of the dishes rely n meat, and definitely ask about the sauces since they can do a mushroom-based sauce instead.
