Amazing Weekend Brunch - Edit
We have come for brunch several times since moving to Key West. Our kids love the tofu scramble and the French toast. My husband and I have tried the other vegan options that are on the menu including the specials that they’ve offered! The tofu Benedict is pretty amazing, definitely worth a try!

Key West Gem - Edit
This place was really amazing!!!!! Not all vegan but LOTS of vegan options and many things that can be made vegan if it’s not already. A little something for everyone regardless if you’re junk food vegan or prefer the healthier side like me.
Read moreStaff was also super friendly. I ordered the artichoke sandwich with a small side salad. Super tasty.

Great food, horrible service - Edit
We were very impressed with the exciting vegan options; however, the service was awful especially on the second visit when we attempted to order the Key Lime pie to go. The server (older, heavier set with reddish curly hair) was very rude. So much so that we decided they did not want our money. When establishments carry that type of attitude they are slowly run into the ground as it is about the experience as well.

So Delicious!! - Edit
So many vegans and gluten free options I had a hard time choosing, not something I am used to being a gluten free vegan! The Tofu Huevos Rancheros were full of flavor and one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! As of amazing food isn’t enough, the art work is stunning making it a most inspiring place to dine! Will def be back!!!

Expansive menu, friendly service and tasty food. Loved getting a Key Lime cheesecake too! Only downside was the surcharge for the vegan cheese was a little unexpected.

Delicious food but disappointing service - Edit
Quaint cafe, super fresh food made from scratch, lots of options. Unfortunately our waitress was less than attentive which is why my rating was less. However, other staff seemed attentive to their tables.

Changes here in the kitchen - Edit
The Café used to have a huge variety of Excellent vegan food! We travel here just for their service, food and Rubbed Kale Caesar Salad. This trip was a little disappointing. Commercial croutons, no more vegan parmesean, Caesar was not rubbed and server seemed to not know what was vegan. Ask carefully because items have changed and some ingredients are not vegan.

Mixed review - Edit
The meatball marinara sub was very good. The bbq tofu sandwich had nice flavor but its 1-inch thick sponge of tofu was nasty mouth feel. For heaven's sake freeze, thaw and squeeze out the tofu was some chewiness.

Great staff and an outstanding menu for me (vegan) and my ovo-lacto--pesky-vegetarian wife. We had lunch here every day during our holiday, and once for breakfast, and were never disappointed.

Overpriced ok food - Edit
I really want to like this place but it keeps coming up short. I had the tofu salad and that was great although they are not very generous with the dressing. Had to ask for more. Another time decided to have their “famous veggie” burger and it was truly a disappointment. The patty was nice in size but so bland. Thank God I got take out so I got to come home and put some veganaise and salt on it. It helped a bit. Sugar Apple Organic Cafe has much better staying food!

Potobello rainbow - Edit
Came to Key west for my anniversary. Rode bicycles over here to The Cafe for their portobello salad. Fresh mixed greens with roasted red pepper, sliced almonds, baby spinach, and I added sliced avocado and subbed the cheese for ‘vegan’ mozzarella. Topped with a light balsamic vinaigrette. There are numerous menu items available in gluten free or vegan. This place is delightfully decorated in local artwork and all the staff are friendly accommodating and menu knowledgable.

Very good and creative food - Edit
I suggest you eat here at least once while in Key West. Fun atmosphere and very good food with many options. I had the small plate of Brussels sports and portobello “bacon” along with truffle fries with a sub in of vegan mozzarella for the Parmesan on each. I am over 6 feet tall and that was plenty of food for me.

Not as good as reviews seem to be - Edit
Very cute and cozy. Had the truffle fries, tasted like cheap plain fries- no flavour. Also the un wing dings which were actually good but not for 8 dollars but hey it is key west. The service wasn't terrible but wasn't fantastic either. Would not go here again but definitely nice little place to try if you are vegan or veggie! Would like better if more gf options!

This place was an important part of my life in Key West... First ate there in 2007 and countless times after... Really cool to see it evolve over time... Everything (vegan) on the menu is terrific; regular meals, specials, desserts, drinks... There's too many meals that are almost and/or could be vegan, but at least some can be made that way if requested
