O-K Kimbap - Edit
FM had the Kimbap which was filling and cheap but perhaps a little bland. The fish cake was just ok also a little plain.

Hidden gem - Edit
A vegan snack bar that is somewhat hidden near the Insadong. The dishes are all vegan and very tasty, sometimes very spicy.
Read moreThe food is also fresh and quickly prepared. However, there are only a few seats, so you sometimes have to wait a bit.

Great value vegan Korean food - Edit
It's just a small outlet with some tables and chairs dotted around outside, but we were impressed by the quality of the food and had a really good time here.
Read moreWe ordered gimbap, ramen, dumplings and perilla seed soup, and everything was great! These might be my favourite dumplings in Korea so far, and the gimbap was nice too.
Simple food, and quick service. Just what we needed!
Pros: Great dumplings, Quick service

Just nice for a quick meal - Edit
I like the way this street food stand is presented. However I am a bit disappointed about 2 things (the reasons why I removed 2 stars). First of all when I wanted to order (주문할게요) the lady was still on her phone texting responding that I needed to wait. I don't like to be ignored, I am the customer. Secondly, I liked the Oden but the Tteokbokki were not great ! Not tasty. If you want tasty Tteokbokki, go rather to Osegyehan.

Juiciest kimbob everrrrr - Edit
Kimbob is so juicy! I thought kimbobs are all just just kimbobs but Maru’s isn’t! 💚 ingredients seem fresh.

What a gem! - Edit
The two ladies behind the counter are simply delightful! The food is great and a great value for the price. I had lunch twice and both times, I absolutely loved it. I believe that I had the best vegan California roll ever.

Brilliant and affordable authentic Korean cuisine - Edit
This little food stall is a delight. For around £5 you can get a hearty dumpling broth and some other hugely tasty dishes. With about ten dishes on the menu, It's great to see an authentic vegan take on Korean cuisine.

Must try ♥️ - Edit
We did the same as others and didn’t realise it’s closed 3-5 but it’s an easy area to get a traditional tea and it’s worth the wait! We can 5:15 and it was already starting to get busy, there was 3 people in the kitchen and we didn’t see anyone get turned away.
Read moreThe whole menu looks great we had both flavour bimbaps, ramen, dumplings and tteok boki between two of us - we finished it all and were full by the end!
Must try when in Seoul!!
Pros: All vegan , Cheap
Cons: Outside seating only

Small stall, all vegan. Went there for Kimbap, wasn't disappointed. Ramyun good, but standard ofc. Nice, non-commercial vibe.

Decent food but very very slow - Edit
Waited over 45 mins for gimbap, tteok-bokki and dumplings. The food was nice but not outstanding and if I knew how long I was going to wait then I definitely wouldn’t have bothered (it’s pretty cold just now).
Read moreThe staff seemed overwhelmed with 4 tickets and frustratingly never put multiple orders of the same dish on at once. I watched them fry dumplings for three orders before mine and each time they washed the pan before starting the next order of the same dish.

Turned away - Edit
We were excited to try this place and travelled here specifically for lunch. Unfortunately after waiting for 15 minutes, we were turned away because apparently there were too many people waiting. The woman behind the counter was very curt. Definitely needs better management.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Great selection of dishes, each as delicious as the last. It was closed between 3pm-5pm when we were there so we came back in the evening (closes again around 7-8). Definitely worth a trip over though as the food is amazingly tasty and well priced. Seating is mostly outdoors and the kind lady put heaters on for us when it got chillier later on.

Delicious street food! - Edit
Maru kimpab has the best korean street food in Seoul! I always went there with my family when they visited me and they are not vegans, but they thought it was so delicious!👍 The price is cheap even though it's located in a tourist area. It can be very cold in the winter since you sit outside, but they have blankets and heaters. 100% recommend this place😊
