Tasty Korean Vegan Lunch - Edit
This is a small place with about a dozen items on the menu. A regular customer helped me choose the tofu roll and the udong, a noodle soup. Both were tasty and fresh

Great food, gruff service - Edit
I came here a couple times during my week-ish stay in Seoul, and the location is great in the middle of Insadong near Gyeongbokgung Palace and, maybe more importantly, right next to the Museum Kimchichan. So grateful to have vegan options so close! The dumplings are amazing, kimbap also really good, rice cake soup super nourishing, kimchi delicious, and tteokbokki very yummy. The only negative is that the owner is pretty gruff and apparently overworked, so she can be short and rushed with you (she was even kind of mean to one customer who was being confusing about what they wanted). Maybe more so with foreigners. The owner and cook (I think her daughter?) were audibly huffing a lot on Sunday when I came by (the day before their day off on Mondays, so they were probably extra tired), which created an atmosphere of anxiety. But the owner can also be super nice and helpful! A bit all over the place when it comes to customer service, but as long as you have thick skin you’ll be alright. And be complimentary! It helps.

I loved being able to try Korean dishes here, all the food was very good, not too spicy. And the workers were sweet.

The food was good but not a lot of sitting space. I had to sit in the sun. Also very minimal service but it was cheap.

Delicious food! - Edit
It's difficult to find vegan Korean food, but this place has so many options for vegan Korean food! It's amazing!! Everything is delicious. The customer service aspect could be improved, but they speak English, which is helpful for foreigners. There is also very limited seating, so you might have to share a table with a friendly stranger or wait for a party to leave to sit down. Definitely order before getting a seat. Also be mindful of the times before going! I went here frequently and often saw people upset when they got there right after the lunch break started and were unable to order. So definitely check the times!

Super tasty in nice area - Edit
Nice place to stop on your way to the Gyeongbokgung Palace as it is just one Metro stop away. There is a nicely pedestrianised area around this restaurant with art galleries and modern clothing and art shops. I wandered around while the food was being prepared.
Read moreI had the Udon noodle soup which was a bit bland, but I asked for it spicy and they obliged with some chilli powder. Probably going off menu a bit, but tasty outcome! Fried dumplings were excellent - really nice stuffing. Freshly squeezed lemon juice was perfect for a hot summer day, and a better option than canned soda.
Pros: Value for money

Good food - Edit
The dishes we ordered were nice, though my sibling didn't really like the California roll because of the pickled vegetables. I thought it was nice, but there was quite a lot of sauce. The tteokbokki and dumplings were both very good! We did have to sit in a hallway which was a bit unfortunate.

Very good and cheap - Edit
I had the fried tofu kimbap for 6000₩ and it was very yummy! There were some indoor and outdoor tables but no AC. The two ladies running the stand were very kind and attentive. Must visit for vegans!

In the heart of Insadong - Edit
This is a non-descript place in the heart of Insadong. Can be a bit hard to find, look for Maru art gallery. Basic place, limited menu, but awesome food. The gimbap is awesome. Would have liked it they had fried rice and bibimbap. But they specialise in noodles and soup.

So far the best food I’ve had in Korea - Edit
I’ve went here two times already and loved everything I’ve tried so so much. I’ve had their Tteokbokki, the Bibimmemilguksu, Ricecake-Mandu Soup and Kimbap so far. It’s quite affordable and everyone working there is very friendly. I wish I could take the whole store home with me when I’ll leave Korea 😅

Lovely range of dishes in nice area - Edit
My friend took me here and I was blown away by how many dishes there were! It’s easy to place an order using the tablets on each table, and both our dishes were good. I had a bulgogi and my friend had a noodle dish. The sides are also delicious and you get free top ups for those. Highly recommend when you’re in Insadong after having bought some souvenirs.

Great food, ok service. - Edit
Excellent food, but the service was a bit off, long waiting time to order and then longer to get your food. Ive been two times and both times the food has been excellent but I cannot get over how impolite the service feels.

It's just a small outlet with some tables and chairs dotted around outside, but we were impressed by the quality of the food and had a really good time here.
