Terrible service - Edit
We ordered sushi and one of the curries. The sushi was great, but the curry was awful. Rice wasn’t cooked properly and the flavours weren’t anything special (had to add soy sauce).
Read moreThe reason it gets 2 stars from me is because of how terrible the service was. They took so long to serve us our second dish (which btw was the curry) and we had to get up and find a waiter to get the bill. They weren’t very attentive, and forgot to bring us water when we asked. Not a great experience.
On top of that it’s very overpriced for very plain food. Not worth it.
Pros: The sushi
Cons: Everything else

Nice food but overpriced - Edit
Had been wanting to try here for a while and are I was limited with time I ordered some dishes that would be fast to eat. The poppers and bao were nice, so was the wine but very expensive for what you, not to mention tip is automatically added to the bill. Would have liked to try sushi. I don't think I would go out of my way to go back but may return if with a group.

Very nice sushi - Edit
Cosy, well-located restaurant in the city centre.
Read moreWe order the "Bottomless Sushi" and didn't have to wait very long for it. The food tasted very good and was varied. The service was very friendly.
Unfortunately, the prices are quite high.
The all you can eat variant definitely makes sense when you are hungry, because, for example, the Grand Sushi Set, has almost the same price, but is not as diverse.

Tasty food but not stand out - Edit
123V is located in the basement of the Fenwick department store, although it also has an outdoor seating area by the front entrance. The restaurant has an elegant decor and an upmarket feel (in keeping with the department store itself). I went with my wife and a group of the HappyCow team and ambassadors. As a table we shared the Chickpea Fries, Spicy Edamame and V–Prawn Tempura, and my wife and I also shared the Happy Pig Bao and Dragon Roll sushi set. The Chickpea Fries were well cooked with a lovely crispy coating and soft centre. They were tasty and I enjoyed them but I felt like they could have packed more of a flavour punch. The V–Prawn Tempura was really tasty with lovely fresh vegetables and great flavours. I didn't try the edamame as I don't like spice but my wife loved them.
Read moreThe Happy Pig Bao were tasty and the buns had a lovely texture but again I felt they could've packed more flavour (I did however ask to swap the spicy mayo for regular mayo so this may have been a factor). The Dragon Roll sushi was tasty and had a good flavour.
Overall I enjoyed the food and I thought it was pretty good but I wasn't blown away. It was also pricey – we paid £37 for 2 Bao buns, 8 pieces of sushi and a Diet Coke!
Pros: Interesting menu options, Tasty food
Cons: Expensive, Some food could be more flavorful

i have mixed feelings - Edit
the sushi: great!
Read morewe were 4 people and had the all you can eat.
my favourites were:
- salmon nigiri
- inari
- dragon roll
none of us liked the sushi pizza. we couldn’t finish it.
what was a let down: while it (still) states on the website that maximum seating time for the all you can eat is 2 hours, we were told after 1.5 hours that we can’t order anymore. if told before we would have ordered differently. also, sometimes it took rather long.
the service altogether sadly wasn’t what i’d expect.
will i come back? i’m not sure.

Tasty Vegan Lunch - Edit
A nice variety of food to choose from. I asked the waiter for his favorite and he suggested the new tempura dish. It was lightly fried and really delicious with an excellent sauce on the side.

Simply unbelievable - Edit
My husband and I had all-you-can-eat sushi here. Insanely delicious and indeed I wondered a couple of times if indeed we were in a fully vegan restaurant (yey, we were!). The deal was insanely good value as well, the only thing I felt bad about was that in order to try everything (lol, my bad probably) when we got to the “sushi pizza” (which was delicious by the way) we were so stuffed that we couldn’t finish it. I hate wasting food so that didn’t sit well with me. Next time I would definitely know my favourites and would know exactly how much to order. Anyway, not the restaurant’s fault - would recommend a million times over! Service was also good. Ambience was nice inside the Fenwick department store. I’d love to try the rest of the menu (as in, the non-sushi dishes). We shall be back for sure!

Loved it - Edit
Went here for my bday and had the best time - sushi pizza was my fave but the sushi is also class. There was a delay with the food so they gave each of us a free dessert of our choice! And wiped the service charge. They really went the extra mile and we felt really appreciated as guests.

Great meals, I will come back - Edit
The menu has some innovative dishes (sushi pizza, quesadillas) and some familiar ones (bowls, burgers). The dishes we ordered were good. It was a shame that this restaurant is located in the basement of a department store. We also were rushed to finish our meals. But the quality of what we ate was very high and I will come back again, and check out a few more dishes.

Some of the best vegan sushi ever - Edit
We had the bottomless sushi and it was so good we had to come back a second time. We had one of each, the favourite was probably the crispy rice green dynamite or the dragon roll, the least favourite was the either sushi pizza, where the toppings didn’t really work for me, but maybe we were just too full from everything else.

maybe my expectations were too high but the sushi was really, really bad… it tasted like it had been made early in the day (i went for dinner), was small, and was super expensive for what you get.

Dragon roll was the highlight, KFC burger a close second. - Edit
We split the two dishes above and the quesadilla and struggled to eat everything. The chickpea fries were a let down, lacking flavour.
Read moreSome reviewers have commented on the music, it is very poppy but we had fun with it, I think it's pretty in keeping with the vibe of the place and we didn't find it encroaching on our conversation or enjoyment. We'll be returning.
Pros: 100% vegan menu, Good portion sizes, Attentive staff
Cons: On the pricey side, but it's central London, Location within Fenwick seems a bit random

Excellent quesadilla - Edit
I was in the area and noticed it was open for a late lunch. It’s either on the lg floor inside Fenwicks or outside at ground level. I’m not a huge fan of sushi so I opted for the quesadilla. It was served with chickpea fries, salad or potato. I really wanted to try the chickpea fries so I had the quesadilla with those. They were really good and came with two sauces. I really enjoyed the flavour of the quesadilla and the vegetables in it. It was a good sized serve too. Staff were absolutely lovely.
Read moreThe music though, is it loud for the staff? It was awful although I admit I’m judgy about music.

Bottomless Vegan Sushi - wish I could have eaten more - Edit
Great vegan sushi. We went on a day where the sushi pizza was unavailable so it was super disappointing😒To be honest, think I might have needed it to add to the variety of flavours available.
Read moreBut the tempura was nice and so was the crispy green dynamite roll and the Inari. Those were my favourites.
It might have been me, but I also ordered a salad. The soleil riviera to be precise. We prefer all five items at once and after all that sushi, didn’t want anymore and my body started craving greens. We didn’t order any extra after that but they let us take the leftovers home.
Pros: Great customer service, Great value bottomless sushi
Cons: Sushi pizza wasn’t available , Possibly needs more variety

I’m a fan - Edit
Eaten here twice, both great. The sushi is awesome, although a couple of the rolls look better than they taste. The Hawaiian sushi pizza sounds great but is so rich that it’s almost sickly. BUT the bao buns are delicious (especially the chicken) and with so many more options to try I’ll definitely aim to go back soon. Slightly sterile atmosphere downstairs in Fenwicks makes this a strange dining experience (at lunch anyway) and it is quite pricey, but given the sushi and a few other great dishes, I’d recommend this place!

Great sushi, weird ambiance - Edit
I had high hopes for this place, the array of options for the bottomless sushi was incredible. It’s so refreshing to have such high quality and flavoursome choice.
Read moreSushi came quickly so wasn’t made to order, and the second batch of tempura was burnt and had no “prawns” in it. But everything else was very impressive and beautifully presented
Service was weird, the team were very attentive to start then they kind of forgot about us. The energy of the place is a little strange too, cosy surroundings but with really up beat music. So you don’t really relax into your meal.
Pros: Lots of options
Cons: Expensive

Vegan place in London - Edit
Food was ok, not the best I’ve tried, but still a good option if you’re in London and you’re a vegan. It was one of the places that wasn’t full and we could come without a reservation.
