Expensive but so delicious! - Edit
Went on a Sunday for my birthday. We could not book the unlimited sushi (not available on Sunday, and very few Friday/Saturday slots left) but what we ordered left us full. Our favourite was the Crispy Rice Green Dynamite. Divine. Slightly disappointed by the chickpea fries which were quite bland. Everything else was absolutely delicious, including my raspberry kombucha. It is more expensive than average though.
Read moreWorth noting that the restaurant is underground, so no natural light. There were a couple of groups there taking part in a sushi workshop, but they were pretty quiet!
As for service, it took a bit longer than what we are used to in London... and although we mentioned that it was my birthday when booking, none of the staff mentioned it, and we did not get anything for it - we decided to go get dessert elsewhere.
Overall, a must try for foodies. We will be back soon to try other items on the menu.
Pros: Fully vegan, Tasty and fresh
Cons: Expensive, Service could be more personalised, No windows (basement of shopping centre)

Fabulous sushi - Edit
Amazing sushi menu. Fabulous flavours and textures, a feast for the eyes. Also recommend the sushi making masterclass. We made California rolls and nigiri sushi. Fun, well explained and we got to take what we made home. Two hour class is followed by a 3 course lunch with wine.

Best vegan restaurant i've ever been to - Edit
We went here for the sushi and we were not disappointed. Never had such delicious vegan sushi before! The "shrimps" were the best for us. Would definitely visit again, even though it was quite expensive. The only downside is the location, since they are located at the basement of a mall.

Great choices - Edit
Loved the variety of choice from salads and burgers to sushi and quesadillas. Tried the jerk pops - tasty and very spicy. Particularly loved the scorched sushi. Desserts were great too, particularly the tres leches cake and tiramisu

Delicious vegan sushi. Good service and wide range.
Read moreNote: when I went it was outside just down the road from Fenwick.
It’s just super expensive. I paid £46 for 500cals worth of sushi plus a decaf oat latte.

Good food and friendly service - Edit
I had a late lunch here, outside on the terrace. I had the Granoduro bowl, which was fine. The high point was the 'Love Simon' cake which I really liked. The service was friendly and prompt.

Early al fresco dining attached to store - Edit
The description for this location states its in the basement, but we dined on the outdoor patio and the name of the restaurant appears to have been shortened to just 123V.
Read moreWe ordered the jerk pops which were delicious. We tried to order the crispy rice green dynamite, but they were already out, so they suggested the crispy & spicy v-tuna roll, which ended up being neither crispy nor spicy. I ordered the Pink Palissade bowl which pretty good. Portion sizes were decent, but it was a little disappointing that they were basically rushing us out. I can understand since they close at 8p and they were quite apologetic about it.
I would go back if I were in the area, but probably for lunch so as not to feel so rushed.
Pros: All vegan menu!
Cons: Closes early if dining for dinner

Best sushi I’ve eaten in a while - Edit
It had a great variety of food so we were able to mix and match. We got the grand sushi set and all pieces of sushi were really tasty and we were really impressed by the v-tuna and v-salmon. The prawn tempura is also worth mentioning, my husband thought it was very realistic. The other dish ordered was the KFC burger and although it was saucy the burger stayed together and the flavours were amazing. The chips were also good.
Read moreWe did not realise that 123vegan is more of an up-market place and the service matches this, personally I’m not keen on this style but this is definitely a personal preference and does not reflect the staff as they provided a good service.

Good sushi - Edit
The food was really good, they have "tuna fish" and "salmon" and its very tasty. The downside (and this is almost everywhere in london) is how expensive everything is.

Finally some real vegan sushi - Edit
Many times when you ask for veganized sushis, you usually get carrot, avocat, cucumber, which is also delicious, but here you have some real looking good salmon or tuna sushi. The looks are impressive, the taste is good, but still a bit far from real. But the overall experience was amazing.

Sushi was amazing. Shame about the service - Edit
Check opening times before you go. On here it states it closes at 8. I arrived at about quarter past 6 and was told the kitchen was about to close. They said if I order right away I could eat. It was just a table for one.
Read moreI ordered some sushi. Food was really good but let down by the service. No one really spoke to me from when I ordered. No one came to check if my food was ok. Nor asked if I wanted anything else. In the end just tried to grab someone’s attention to get the bill.

Cons: Bad service

Happy quiet little lunch! - Edit
This is the first place I ever dined alone at, for a spot of lunch during a quiet spell. Normally I'm too nervous and self-conscious to do that and will only eat out rather than on-the-go if I'm with other people, but after shopping I was knackered and I've always loved Fenwicks so I thought I'd give this a go. Maybe a bit overpriced for the portion but I'm someone who eats big meals less often and I'm not used to London prices. I was lost for choice, as vegan sushi is my favourite food but I finally went with the Pink Palissade bowl with short-grain brown rice, smoky tofu, salty nori, pineapple, sweetcorn, kimchi, good quality avocado and a flavorful sauce to pour over it. It was very sweet and umami, the tastes all balanced each other out and was perfect for my palate, as I love contrasts between fresh and cooked food. I had no signal or wifi downstairs for some reason, which I actually liked because I was able to sit and read my book, make my afternoon plans and rest for a bit and I now love dining out by myself thanks to that experience at 123Vegan. I didn't feel self conscious at all, the food was good, it was peaceful, I had a good amount of personal space, the staff were polite and smiley and it picked up my energy for the rest of the day, as the food wasn't heavy and unhealthy. I'd have liked to have tried all of the vegan and gluten free options but I didn't have enough time in London to go back. Highly recommended.

Very tasty vegan place, creative kitchen, more than just the usual beyond meat burger. Downstairs restaurant however is freezing and drafty - it’s the reason I rarely go there anymore. I’m already freezing in the office, why put up with the same discomfort over lunch/dinner?

Average…. - Edit
Went here with high hopes but feel 4 stars is a bit generous. We got several of the dishes and nobody was blown away. It was also a bit pricey for the items we got. The vegan burger was okay, the bowls were not very filling, the sushi was decent. The macaroons were pretty good. All vegan- which is a huge bonus.

too expensive for what it is - Edit
The food would have been ok - not great, but ok - if we had been in a pub or similar. For the price it wasn't good enough. Violife cheese in the quesadillas ....(cheap, basic commercial brand) - I'd expected something better from a Gauthier restaurant. Place has no atmosphere, in the depths of a department store - maybe better at lunch but by the time we went at 6 it was practically empty and the staff clearly wanted to leave. Not a great advert for vegan food, which is a pity

Very nice meal - Edit

10/10 sushi - Edit
The sushi was crazily good and I still don’t understand that it contained no fish! Wowza. It’s a bit complicated to get there since you have to pass through a shop (unless you want to sit outside) but the interior is lovely and comfortable, I recommend dining inside!

Delicious food, a little bare after lunch - Edit
We arrived after lunch (around 3pm) and it was deserted with no one around, so we assumed it was closed. One of the waiting staff eventually poked his head out and we asked if they were open, and found out it was. After that it was all pretty great!

Must try in central London … - Edit
This is an absolute gem in central London. Very extensive vegan menu that ranges from sushi to burgers and various fusion dishes. There is easily a dish for most people. They are based in the posh shopping mall, which can be a slight downside as their opening hours depend on it as a result…. Evening meals aren’t always an option.
