Overwhelming number of choices, great mock meats
Great place for vegan dim sum. The menu contains far more choices on the menu than the nearby and apparently more popular "Vegetarian Dim Sum House". Tasty mock meat versions of an incredible number of dishes, including shark fin soup and jellyfish, as well as classics like duck and shrimp. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Nice ambience, tasty food
This restaurant has a nice vibe to it. Chic design while still casual, good service, the kind of place to go on a second date. The food was very good, particularly the desserts.

Good food, simple and casual ambience
Cafe Veg is the somewhat upscale version of the "Uptown Juice Bar" with which it is affiliated. Decent place to sit down an enjoy a meal. The menu is not quite as extensive as the Juice Bar, but the food is just as good. Great place to get fresh squeezed juice.

My favourite vegan restaurant in New York. The menu has a range of mock meat dishes, as well as regular veg options such as tofu. The food was excellent, service was good, also serves some interesting and original cocktails. The meal arrived very quickly, which is great if you're hungry but perhaps not the best when you want to take your time with a meal. Chic decor and great location in the East Village. Highly recommended.

Tasty food, otherwise mediocre
Strictly Roots sells excellent and mostly vegan (honey in some desserts and drinks) food. I was quite impressed by at how tasty it was. On the other hand, the service was just ok. This is a place where locals eat; I'm not going to lie, I felt a little bit unwelcome from the time I walked in the door. Prices are cheap but portions are fairly small. All in all, it's still worth a visit.

The place for fresh juice in Harlem
The menu features dozens and dozens of choices of smoothies and fresh squeezed juices. There is also counter service of hot and cold vegan dishes, which are quite good although portions were a bit small. Service is reasonably fast and friendly. Great prices, highly recommended.

Pizza is amazing. Creative toppings, huge portions, goods prices, funky atmosphere. I love this place.

I love Veg Out. The "fish" and chips is pretty terrific. Don't bother with the avocado toast, though, it's nothing special.

Best restaurant in Ottawa, best vegan food in the province. High class food but nice and relaxed atmosphere. Pricey but worth it.

tasty, simple, cool
Minimalist decor and service does not detract from the positive experience of eating at clover. The service is quick, the food tasty and cheap. Portion sizes are nothing to write home about, but you get a decent meal.

Huge portions, but you get what you pay for
I was a bit underwhelmed by this place. Staff were friendly and the service was lightening fast. But in my opinion the portions sizes and ridiculously cheap prices don't make up for the mediocre quality of the food. I ordered one of the "house specials", and was disappointed.

nice atmosphere, food ok
Life Alive is a pretty good place for a healthy and hearty meal. The smoothies are excellent. The food, in the other hand, was just ok. Fresh and colourful, but somewhat bland just the same. maybe they need to use a few more spices, our perhaps I just wasn't in the mood for that kind of meal. Regardless, prices and portions are fine, and the atmosphere is funky and energetic.

Some of the best vegan food in NYC
Order the dumplings! They are just amazing.
Great food and service, fairly good portions and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? The desserts were another highlight. Terrific restaurant.

Good Value, Good Food, Small Space
First off, great value here. The food was tasty but not overly spiced like done vegetarian restaurant food trends to be. There are only six or seven stools for eating in, so plan to take your food out unless you want to be squished or hurried. Overall, definitely a place I would eat again.

Great place for vegetarian comfort food
I love this restaurant! It's worth coming in the morning for the scrambled tofu, but don't miss the tasty lunch and dinner menu. The decor is funky without trying too hard, and the staff are lovely.
