Wonderful juice

Have been here many times and also buy their juice outside of the area including in Asheville, NC. They have a great selection of juices and combination of juices including wheat grass products.

Interesting place

They have got a lot of stuff packed into this little store. I enjoyed looking around in here and the check out was quick enough. Beware though this is not a discount store - be well-off in the wallet department to shop here regularly.

Neat place

I have stopped by here a few times and really liked the chili as well as the baked items. I was impressed with the place. It has a sort of warehouse feel to it compared to the tiny shops in NY - large open space with tables, couches, bar stools, large windows, etc. The cupcakes are large size and seem like a fair value. The staff are friendly. I went once for the Sunday brunch, the food was very good but note several ill-behaved children in the place then. Later evening sometimes have entertainment via donation at the door.

I like this place

Excellent place. This store is right in the city and gets a lot of business with seating both inside and outside. The hot bar has good veg food, and there are many other options within the store. Can't wait to go back...

Not vegetarian place

Insulting selection of vegetarian - most salads contained meat. Staff not interested in accommodating customer needs. Best thing is the place is right along the main street and menu is easy to read on wall so you can quickly see it and leave.

Could not be served

Upon entering was told that it is no longer a vegan establishment and only open for 'private party' that night. I have come here in the past when it was open to the public and had a mediocre experience then. Would give it 1 cow it I could.

Not bad

Set up like a cafeteria where you go around and get how much of whatever you want and then pay by weight. Disappointed there are a few non-veg items - I thought it was all veg at first. Some items looked like they been there awhile.

Lunch buffet

Buffets are few and far between so it was nice to stop in here a couple of times. Clean, bright dining room with plenty of elbow room, slow and relaxed setting. The buffet is not huge and is mostly cold salad items. Note the interesting reading material available if you get bored.

Not worth it

This is the kind of place you visit once to see it and never return again. The cupcakes are small as the ones you could bake at home in a toaster oven (which I do). Yes, some varieties contain "expensive" ingredients like agave nectar for sweetener (which they charge even more for). But that does not justify the insane prices for what you get. If you are on a budget, I recommend you come in right after a large meal and buy the bite-size brownie mini-cupcake (micro cupcake more like it) for about a buck!

Great co-op

One of the better co-op's that I have been to. I went before they expanded then again after re-opening. There is a lot here and is a nice place!

Neat place

We were looking for a quick place to get a late lunch. The one vegetarian restaurant "palace of dosas" was closed for some hours during the day, so we chose "Pizza Plant" instead. We were promptly seated, ordered and received their 'pizza pods' with good service. The food was hot and tasty - the 'great sauce' on the side was a plus as well.

I had read about this place and went out of my way to check it out - it was well worth the trip. I got the three-falafel platter and enjoyed everything on it. It came with a separate dish of several different sauces (separated) that you can use to add how much of which ones you like. One of them had a flavor I had not experienced before - it was slightly earthly and tangy. I also tried the tea and a sweet item to take out which were also good. They have several types of attractive salads as well (I did not get to try those however). If it was not so far away I would go here on a regular basis.

Decent place

Enjoyed lunch here. Not inexpensive, but is clean and food arrived quickly. Also has a nice separate dining area. I bought a couple of their VT-made packaged cookies while there (too sweet). Menu selection somewhat limiting and staff could be a bit more interested. I'd like to come again and try some other items.
