Worth a visit to try Austrian dishes - Edit
Second time there after a few years and forgot how huge the portions are so bring an appetite. Just a reminder that potatoes are normal in salad so even that is quite filling. Make a reservation to ensure seating. The dishes are flavorful and it’s fun to get to try vegan versions of popular Austrian dishes and the people who work there are very nice.

You can taste here austrian dishes - all is vegan. We have tried Wiener Schnitzeland and Grammelknödel Mit Sauerkraut. Portions are enormous and the waiters are very kind. Although I would add som3 salad to dishes:) I recommend ordering a salat:) definitely worth visiting when you are i Wienna

We showed up with 5 of us and luckily they were able to accommodate. I would recommend a reservation for a larger group. They are quite busy, which is awesome. We all really enjoyed our meals. Everything was very flavorful.

Wir hatten den Kümmelbraten und Zwiebelrostbraten bestellt. Leider haben uns beide Speisen gar nicht geschmeckt. Die Konsistenz von einem Braten war wie ein Stück geschmackloser Kaugummi und der andere viel zu stark gesalzen. Wir waren enttäuscht und ich konnte meinen Omni Freund nicht überzeugen. Der Gruß von der Küche war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns geschmeckt. Die Bruschetta als Vorspeise war auch lecker.

We had a fantastic meal here. The staff were lovely, the service perfect and the food was amazing. We had the schnitzel, goulash, a side of roast potatoes (not needed but the best I’ve ever had!) plus tiramisu and Sacher torte desserts. Plus couple of beers as we’re on holiday.

We were specifically looking for a place where we could eat authentic, local food in a vegan way and this place was perfect for that. The selection is wide, we would have loved to try everything. The food is delicious, the staff is nice, the place is simple and pleasant. I can only recommend it to everyone visiting Vienna.

lovely staff and the wiener schnitzel is exactly what i was looking for in Vienna. we split it between two people as it was quite large and the staff were accommodating and brought an extra plate😄also the cake was so good and fresh even just before doors closed. please try leave room for it. will come back next time I’m in Vienna

Mein Freund ist nicht vegan und hatte das Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat und war sehr begeistert!
Mein Zwiebelrostbraten mit Kartoffeln und einer so leckeren Soße, war ein Traum! Sehr empfehlenswert.
Die Speisekarte machte die Auswahl allerdings schwer, da sich so viele Gerichte richtig toll angehört haben. Auch die aktuelle Kürbiskarte klang sehr verlockend.
Zum Nachtisch waren wir eigentlich bereits satt aber wollten natürlich noch etwas probieren.
Die Sachertorte mit Schlag war lecker.
Etwas enttäuschend fanden wir den Kaiserschmarrn, er war mir allgemein zu fest und etwas angebrannt unten, was man leider schmeckte.
Pros: Leckeres, deftiges Essen, Leckere Limonaden, Sehr nettes Personal!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Nachmittag im Velani. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war durchweg großartig! Man schmeckt, dass alles selbst gemacht ist und dass hier keine Fertigware oder Tiefkühltruhe auf den Tisch kommt. Dabei kommt die Konsistenz des veganen Fleisches und der Geschmack der Saucen super nah an das Original ran. Und die Auswahl an Nachtischen ist auch ein Traum! Wir waren einfach nur begeistert! Und unser Hund durfte auch mit rein. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Just two stations away from Schloss Schönbrunn, this was the perfect dinner place after a long day at the castle! It was a great experience, a restaurant like this that offers typical viennese cuisine all vegan was exactly what I wished for. They have so many amazing options and it was super difficult to choose, in the future I'd definitely love to return and try out more food. We had the Kapressknödelsuppe (the cheese dumpling was SO GOOD, very big soup), Wiener Schnitzel and goulash with spätzle, as well as Palatschinken with nougat. Everything was so good. I'm not a big fan of potato salad but it was really well done, the Schnitzel was good and ginormous (we had to take half of it home) and I really liked the goulash too, especially the spätzle were really delicious. Loved the palatschinken of course. It's good to share because all their dishes are really big. The interior isn't particularly cozy or anything but the food speaks for itself, would say this is a must try for vegans in vienna.
