Vegan restaurant opened 2016 by the owners of Taste From Heaven. Serves a large selection of Thai and Western dishes. Example of choices include thai noodles, pineapple fried rice, gyoza, burger and fries, English breakfast, tofu scramble baguette sandwich, brownies, porridge, pesto pasta, waffles and ice cream. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-10:00pm.

Ok this review is super long overdue, but I need to write it so that I remember to stop here whenever I return. This was a long walk from where we were staying, but the reviews compelled us, so we trekked over for dinner. The food here was SO good that we actually hiked all the way back here the following morning for breakfast too! It’s not some place with refined dishes, but it’s very good and they have a large variety. And if you don’t order enough food then I guess you’ll just have to order dessert then, won’t you? Do it

Truly is Vegan Heaven! Lovely little restaurant and setting serving all day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Have tried at least 10 different menu items and everything is so delicious. Beautifully prepared and presented. Will be back again...and again...until try everything. Then start all over again!

Vegan heaven was one of the stops on a Khao Soi Crawl I recently hosted. 20-25 of us gathered at the restaurant to taste-test a small portion of Vegan Heaven's Khao Soi and rate it based on a variety of categories.

There was a bit of disagreement here–some thought it was too spicy/spicy enough while others thought it was still too mild. Several thought the broth was too light/thin/not creamy enough. People liked the large amount and variety of veggie fillings, but did not like the tofu. There were notes that it was too dry, bland, or oily. People were happy to have crispy noodles on top, though many thought they were too thin/not crispy enough. To sum up everyone’s thoughts: it was tasty, but it wasn’t Khao Soi.

We went there for dinner and breakfast. There is SO MUCH CHOICE between Asian and Western dishes. We had curries and they were delicious. The brownie was good too. Lots of options for breakfast. Very friendly service and a lovely spot altogether.

Read moreThis time I had Bangers & mash with onions, mushroom gravy and fresh blanched cauliflower, broccoli and carrots. A large serving, couldn’t finish it even with help from my partner.
She had a falafel wrap which is one of her favorites and it was tasty. I had a taste, the wrap was tender and the chick peas very tasty indeed.
Pros: Huge vegan menu with a large breakfast selection., Attentive and prompt service , Fantastic prices and value. Alcohol in season.
Cons: Upstairs toilet, not for old knees!, Some for sale products were dusty!, Busy Soi for car parking

Delicious, professional & clean restaurant. I ate the fruit salad with museli & coconut milk & a lemon smoothie. 99/10. The fresh teas are out of this world, the mint & butterfly pea are amazing. The samosas, spicy cauliflower & all curries & soups are sooooo good.

We was here not only for food, but and for cooking class. It was amazing experience, so happy that i made it. The owner so sweet person, also as their chef. Food was amazing, we tried: vegan khao soi, mushroom laarb, green curry fride rice, panang curry and ets. All was delicious! Love this place.

My Favourite Place - Edit
Been to Chiang Mai in 2017 and in 2020 and this is always my favourite place to eat and get foods from. In 2020 with the pandemic they made it easy to still get food from them with takeaway. They even let me use my own containers instead of disposable ones! I miss this place and will be straight back next time I come to Thailand. Especially love their Pad Thai, pumpkin soup, sushi and thick smoothies.

There’s plenty of dishes to choose from at Vegan Heaven plus an excellent range of beverages from smoothies to cocktails.
Read moreThe Thai dishes are really tasty and colourful however the other dishes we tried were unremarkable. Gyoza were disappointing, perhaps the menu size is too ambitious.
The service is friendly and fairly efficient.
Recommended for a budget meal out to suit Thai and Western tastes. If you want a good range of beverages, this may be the best option.
