Good veg food - Edit
Can't go wrong at a veg restaurant. I had hush puppies and veggie loaf, both were good. Veggie loaf is kinda unique. They also have cocktails which I unfortunately didn't get to try this time.

More Like a Tree Home - Edit
I have frequented Tree House many times for brunch, lunch, dinner, and made reservations for their special events including Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve. Their normal menu and special dishes are usually excellent. Their tofu eggs, potatoes, and brussel sprouts are some of my favorites.

Please add a location in NOLA - Edit
This is hands down the best brunch I have had in a long while. The cornbread adds a sweetness to balance the savory smoked “sausage” and the sauce. I want a bottle of this. I almost asked for no potatoes but glad I didn’t because they are actually crispy and seasoned to perfection.

Let’s Get Crabby With It! - Edit
Pre veganism I worked at a restaurant that had a mind blowing crab cake. Crab Cheese Rangoon was also a go to app at my local Chinese Food place.
Read moreThis was my first visit to Tree House and when I saw they had both of these dishes I had to get crabby with it. How often do you see vegan crab? Not often!
The rangoons were creamy and the cakes savory! To top it off I had a magnificent Caramel Apple Cheesecake that was to die for!
I will be back the next time I’m in town!

Agree with "mid" - Edit
Out of the two times I came here, one item out of everything we order is good, while the rest are just okay. The textures and flavors do not pop. Some things taste very bland such as the jack fruit topped sopes and the katsu chikn sandwich was not good either.

Overall I thought this spot was very mid. The potatoes were under seasoned and the fried chicken sandwich just ok.

Creative Options and Welcoming Staff - Edit
The staff treated me like they were my besties from the moment I walked in. They have so many options. I tried the queso fundido, pasta florentine, and the On Holiday (a mocktail). Everything was delicious and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better.

Vegan option is default - Edit
The tree house big breakfast is a really good sampler of what they have to offer. They really nailed every piece of it. The pancake, with powdered sugar and actual maple syrup, is really a dessert.😄

So many choices, all vegan. Spicy fried beets, wild mushroom ravioli with brussel sprouts were both winners.

Awesome restaurant. - Edit
Everything is vegan by default. They offer some dairy cheeses as options. Small, about 30 seats. Creative cocktail menu. All dishes are vegan, most are creative with the obligatory beyond burger. One of our better meals the past year.

We came with a big group for weekend brunch. Some people got savory dishes and several got the French toast (current special). The servings looked kind of small but ended up being just the right size. It was all delicious!
