some good food items, but greasy atmosphere - Edit
The Pesto Bruschetta was delicious. Great tasting bread and toppings.
Read moreThe Pecan Dusted Seitan served over mashed potatoes with gray was unique and delicious. However, the other sides with it were lackluster. The cornbread was dry and flavorless (inedible). The greens were bitter and acidic. I wish I could have gotten just the seitan and potatoes and gravy.
The Soy Taco plate was... not very taco-y. I've had TVP tacos that remind me of tacos, but this reminded me more of a salad. It was very pretty. But the taste just wasn't there. (should have tried a sandwich instead, as those have some good reviews)
The service/atmosphere was... not the best. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. You pour your own drinks, but the pitcher of iced tea was empty after 1 glass, so we weren't able to get any refills. The ventilation in there was really bad too. We smelled of smoke and grease after leaving -- kinda gross!
In the end, I'm glad we stopped there while traveling through, as the bruschetta and seitan were worth it. If I lived in the area, though, this wouldn't be a place I'd frequent.
Cons: greasy atmosphere, drink station not kept up

More than “bar food” - excellent, healthy, satisfying and delicious - Edit
This was our first time at this amazing fully vegan spot on our way from IL to FL. While we have enjoyed other vegan restaurants in the area in the past, this is by far our favorite. We enjoyed the Thai Chili Bowl and the Reuben (aka Little Steppenwolf) along with a dumpling appetizer that was on special. Everything tasted so delicious and the owners were friendly and very customer service forward, accommodating my request for very low oil. We were so happy to find this spot and will be visiting again next time we are in Chattanooga.

Solid Vegan Bar Food! - Edit
First time visit. I had the burrito (with optional added seitan). Wife had the “Diamonds & Rust.” Everything was great. We ate upstairs on the patio.

My go to in Chattanooga! - Edit
This is my 4th visit & I have been wowed every time! I cannot pick just one favorite - the “wings” are spicy but not overly. The Reuben (Steppenwolf) is perfectly grilled & the patty melt (Patty Hearst) is amazing! Always great service & reasonably priced in my opinion. Don’t miss this place!

great home-style vegan joint - Edit
Ashley - I hope that's spelled right - will take good care of you if you're in the mood for some Southern style, home cooked vegan food. He's about as Tennessee friendly as you're going to find and knows his menu really well.
Read moreWe were greeted as we walked into this comfortable, casual restaurant not really knowing what to expect. In fact, I had forgotten that it was all vegan but he reminded us just to be sure we would be happy with our choice.
He gave us the list of specials along with some recommendations after we asked. I had the Reuben and the wife and I split two appetizers dash the dumplings and the wings. The sauce on the wings was delightful and the dumplings - a special - were spot on. The dumplings were served with what we believe was a spicy vegan mayo and some sort of sweet chili sauce. They were also terrific.
Unfortunately, especially in vegan restaurants, Reubens are usually filled with sauerkraut to drown out all flavors and to fill you up. All he had a really good amount that added enough flavor and crunch without trying out the other flavors.
We were also informed that they make their own seitan and it's available as a package to go if you give them some notice.
The prices were quite Fair and the food was served hot and quickly. We got a little bit of history when things slowed down from this super friendly restaurant owner.
We're thinking about relocating to this area and this was a really nice last stop on our trip - we for sure will be back.
Pros: great friendly service, cozy environment, good home-style country vegan food
Cons: maybe the menu was a little limited

Wonderful Find! - Edit
We were so happy to find a late night place near where we were staying on our first visit to Chattanooga! Welcoming host, delicious and satisfying food, and large portions. We had a burrito and the seitan meatloaf: well- seasoned with a nice gravy and mashed potatoes. The spring rolls were a special treat!

Good vegan food from this small spot - Edit
First time at this location. I double parked outside and ran inside to pick up my order which I had called ahead for. It was a Sunday and I learned that they have a Sunday brunch menu and they do not offer anything off of their regular menu during that time. Ordered the Southern style grits with grilled veggies as a side. Enjoyable. Ordered the breakfast burrito and the summer squash omelette. Very much enjoyed the summer squash omelette more than the breakfast burrito. My wife agrees that is one to repeat. Friendly service. Food was ready. Would very much enjoy coming back to this location

Back again. This time I had their spicy cheeky wings. Tasty. Good portion size. If I could change one thing it would be to have them into smaller bite size portions - but I did enjoy. Severs with a couple slices of carrot and celery. Also had their culture club deluxe. This was HUGE. It was also very good. I choose to have the side of garlic mashed potatoes rather than the chips and I was not disappointed at all.

Hit or Miss - Edit
First time we got to try the brunch menu. I enjoyed my Vegan BLT, but unfortunately the grits were just inedible. The Migas was pretty good, but difficult to eat, and we probably won't get it again. It was nice to have some pancakes, and the fruit was delicious. The seating is very limited inside, and we ended up having to sit outside in some chilly weather (might I suggest a heater?), but service was decent. We've been here a few times in our travels to Chattanooga, and we always find something we like, but it can be hit or miss.

Fun - Edit
I stopped on a long road trip and got something for lunch and dinner. I liked the sandwich but couldn’t get past one bite of the sweet potato tacos. I had assumed it would be chunks of roasted sweet potatoes but no, it was just mashed sweet potatoes inside of a corn tortilla. That went in the trash.

Yummy and accessible - Edit
It was easy to find this restaurant, and the server was very helpful. We came here specifically because we were told that the collards were amazing, and they were delicious. We got a Reuben and a mushroom walnut burger. Both were great. The mashed potatoes with gravy was the showstopper. It was a great meal.

So many options, great service - Edit
I was passing through Chattanooga and stopped for lunch. The entire menu is vegan. I had the bbq sandwich- I went with the tofu option vs the seitan. Sandwich was great, but what really blew my mind was the side of garlic mashed potatoes. The service was great. I could tell the server was really busy, but they did a great job of taking care of everyone and seemed very knowledgeable about menu items.

Felt bad for our Omni guests - Edit
Looks like we are in the minority here but we didn’t love the food. We came here with Omni friends because they were told they’d love it and wouldn’t know it was vegan. Sadly, they did not like the burrito they tried at all - no one even finished it. We had the nachos, which were okay, and the wings had a good taste but were very spongy. We were only in town for a week but didn’t want to go back and definitely wouldn’t want to bring anymore non-vegan friends here

Fabulous! - Edit
An absolute oasis in meaty Chattanooga where elsewhere even the burger buns contain milk… This is a wonderful place playing chilled reggae beats and only serving up delicious homemade vegan food. I opted for the Reuben which was really fantastic. My cousin had red pepper and hummus wrap which was huge and juicy. I’d love to go back and try everything! They also have a great range of non alcoholic beers and I tried a new lemon one which was delicious. The waitress was really lovely.
