Wish Sluggo’s was available in our town! - Edit
What a wonderful surprise. It is very difficult to find an all vegan restaurant that focuses on fresh and Whole Foods. Their menu has so many options and variety it is difficult to decide. This is a restaurant that non-vegans would enjoy as well. Excellent fresh fast clean whole food. Their use of seasonings and sauces make each dish unique and delicious!

So worth it - Edit
We stopped by on our way through Chattanooga. I ordered the patty melt on sourdough with mashed sweet potatoes and collard greens. The sandwich was outstanding, and I could eat the collard greens with every meal. The sweet potatoes were also yummy. Highly recommend!

Sluggos second location delivers. - Edit
First time at Chattanooga location, and it did not disappoint. In the time of COVID, they only have curbside pickup and delivery. I got the Phillip cheesesteak and although the bread was a bit soggy before I got to eat it, it was delicious. The cheese sauce was good and complemented the seitan and onions. The bread that was not soggy was tasty. Omni wife was not as impressed with the Caesar salad, but I thought it was ok.

All vegan - Edit
Pensacola Florida location is better, I have been going there for years. Stopped here on a road trip and many of the menu items are not available. Maybe a Rona issue. Wasn't as impressed with the food enough to ever go to this location again vs trying a new spot. The Pensacola location has more daily baked goods as well, this location lacked there too.

Not great. Just fine. - Edit
We ordered the BBQ sandwich, mashed potatoes, sweet potato mash and the pesto mushroom quesadilla while on a road trip . We’re really excited about this place and our meal but it was a little lackluster. I had the vegan Taco Bell menu the night before and honestly liked that more.

Good food! Wings appetizer was great, club sandwich top notch. The Popeye bowl was okay, wish it was more flavorful. I always appreciate a fully vegan restaurant! Try them!

Good food, not a huge variety - Edit
Good vegan options, not a huge menu offering. Definitely not celiac friendly but probably fine for someone who chooses to omit gluten. Overall, good, easy, quick meals. Friendly staff

Eh.... - Edit
I feel like this is what meat eaters think all vegan food tastes like. Everything was very vinegar-y and definitely looked unappealing. Our whole family went and there wasn't anything that was really kid friendly. I was not impressed at all. Good try, but they missed the mark.

Wholesome food - Edit
My husband and i both ordered different bowls. They were both delicious and very fresh tasting. The tofu was cooked perfectly and nice and crispy. Both sauces (Peanut and ginger curry) were delicious and not overpowering. They put just the right amount.

Drove 2 hrs from out of town to eat dinner here. Worth it. Very humble looking premises, but the food is bomb. The lentil patty melt is incredible. Also tried the 3 bean chili that was also amazing. Eat here! You will be glad you did! Wish I could find the time to drive down more often!

Pros: Outstanding food, Affordable prices, Good service

Everything here is 100% vegan, so come eat and drink whatever without worrying about ingredients. We were in vacation in Chattanooga for a week, and stopped in here twice. We met the owner the first time, and he was a nice guy who chatted about the area and gave us recommendations for other veg places around where we were staying. Being from up North, it was fantastic having vegan soul food (we don't have that option up here!), and there's a special dish every day, so the options are plentiful. Vegan or not, you've got to eat here.

Everything is delicious - Edit
We went to Sluggos twice while we were in town. The first time I ordered the cheeky wing wrap which was spicy and delicious. For my side I got mashed potatoes and gravy which was really good. My husband ordered the bbq sandwich which was great and the collards which he loved. Our toddler got the kids quesadilla which he really liked. The second time we visited I got the quesadilla plate with side salad and soup of the day which was a black bean soup. It was all delicious. The creamy dill dressing for the salad is good too. My husband ordered the Berliner which was basically a seitan Reuben with sweet potato mash. The Reuben was good but I’ve had better vegan reubens honestly. I wasn’t a fan of the large seitan chunks in the sandwich, would have preferred it be thin slices like a real Reuben. Our toddler got the tofu bowl which was basically tofu with brown rice, spinach and their vegan cheese. I actually thought it was really good but he didn’t like it. Maybe it’s just him being weird though. My only real complaints are that they don’t have much in the way of dessert options and the seating area is very small. But overall we really liked it and will come back again.

Sluggos was the first vegan restaurant I visited in Chattanooga, and it made me fall in love with the city even more. Whenever I’m back in town, Sluggos is a stop I always make. I love their buffalo wrap, pecan dusted seitan, and nachos. Yum!

The food was ok, the tofu scramble was very heavy on the tumeric which I am not a fan of. The place was small and freezing. I had to leave my coat on to eat. Would probably not go back

Great Vegan Food - Edit
Sluggo's was awesome! It's full of kitschy decor, friendly people, and delicious food. We went there twice, once ordering off the (all-vegan!) regular menu, and the second time for an (all-vegan!) brunch, both of which were delicious. They gave us SO much food, and it was all amazing! I especially recommend the brunch, because I'm a sucker for vegan pancakes, and these were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

It’s ok - Edit
The food wasn’t amazing but good. I’m not sure they use any salt on any products? Might be a good thing for someone who doesn’t want any but the grits and potatoes had zero flavor. A quick fix tho with nearby table salt. The cafe itself just lacked pizazz... could use a little care ... the menu has a ton of typos, the drink area looked like the bar would snap at any moment.

We went for brunch this morning. I got the tacos with potatoes and salad. I was very full. It’s great having a full menu to choose from. They also do a mimosa with hard cider and kombucha which is tasty and creative.

A little bland.. - Edit
Staff was friendly and the restaurant itself has a really nice vibe and great art displayed throughout. But there is room for improvement with the dishes. I tried the spicy seitan wings and the panhandle tofu plate. Everything was a bit bland and the sauces used were watered down too much. I love that they are making an effort and are completely vegan but I hope they can spice up their dishes more and make some improvements with their flavors.
