Fabulous! - Edit
An absolute oasis in meaty Chattanooga where elsewhere even the burger buns contain milk… This is a wonderful place playing chilled reggae beats and only serving up delicious homemade vegan food. I opted for the Reuben which was really fantastic. My cousin had red pepper and hummus wrap which was huge and juicy. I’d love to go back and try everything! They also have a great range of non alcoholic beers and I tried a new lemon one which was delicious. The waitress was really lovely.

Great, eclectic food spot - Edit
In town for a few days from Atlanta and stopped by here for lunch. My husband and I split the spicy seitan wings to start, then split the club and each got a side (Caesar and sweet spuds). We were happy with all of it! Would love to come back and try out other things on their menu.

Get the dusted seitan - Edit
I hurt myself with seitan (and tofu) and I will be back to do it again soon. Delicious, and a rather large menu with all kinds of goodies, from greasy diner food to quality salads to excellent rice bowls (try the Popeye).

I had the Mushroom Walnut burger with the tofu bacon cheeseburger upcharge. Hubby had the hummus wrap. Both were delicious and filling. The place was cute and kitchy and I loved it.

Service was great, the space is cute and clean. But the food was not flavourful or special, especially for the price. I would not come here again unless they change the menu.

It was alright - Edit
Food was good; nothing to come back for though. We had an appetizer, two meals there and a meal to-go for $40. Asked for no onion, but my meal was loaded with it anyways. Burger with added “bacon and cheese”: warning, don’t expect a slice of cheese, but a blob of liquid. Making it impossible eating by hand. It was a mess!

All-naturale - Edit
Cute. Food is very healthy, whole, and simple (in a good way). Minimal spice and salt, it seemed - very all-naturale. Lovely variety and options! Was especially thrilled to see all the NA beer options. Just wished they offered more sugar-free tea or bubbly options. Worth a visit for sure.

Best Vegan Restaurant - Edit
This was the best food my husband and I ever had!! I can’t recommend this place enough. We were traveling from Michigan to Florida and stopped in the great city and found this gem. It’s so hard to find vegan food period, much less fabulous food. This place is it. Thank you for a great experience!! Love you guys!!

worth the drive - Edit
Delicious vegan southern comfort food. The dusted seitan and panhandle tofu were delicious. I highly recommend the savory collard greens and cream dill dressing. Loved all the different protein choices and healthy options. Chattanooga is such a great city for vegan options, and Sluggos is at the top.

Vegan restaurant - Edit
So, we were a bit thrown at first because the sign said vegetarian- but it is indeed vegan.
Read moreI got a tofu Cesar salad, my husband got the Philly cheese steak, our son had the scrambled tofu and we ordered zucchini pancakes to go home.
Everything was great!! I loved my salad so much- the dressings were all just so good. There is a dill ranch dressing we just couldn’t get enough of. There was also a tahini goddess dressing we loved. Our son devoured the mashed potatoes- which were delicious!
The atmosphere is also really nice. Outside seating options, very artsy feel. We loved it!
Pros: Unique dressings , Delicious items, Atmosphere
Cons: None!

Awesome vegan oasis in Chattanooga. Has the pecan dusted seitan and partner got the bbq sandwich. Both were awesome. Only complaint is that everything (but especially the sides and cornbread) needed more salt, in my opinion.

Awesome! - Edit
We were only in Chattanooga for a weekend so it was tough to choose where to eat since there’s a lot of vegan places. But we made the right move going to Sluggo’s. We started our meal with an order of Zucchini Griddle Cakes, which were really tasty. I had the Ginger Peanut Kale bowl with tofu & my husband ordered the Pecan Dusted Seitan plate. We both loved our food and left feeling satisfied. The service was fast & friendly. I wish we could’ve eaten more but we weren’t super hungry. I’d definitely return.

Great eats - Edit
We were so happy to get an opportunity to eat some vegan food while on the road. The patio was comfortable and cute. Service was great. The wings were delicious! Loves the sauce. This is just a personal preference, but we felt some of the main dishes needed a pinch more salt to bring out all the delicious flavors. Some of our food was pretty sloppy and fell apart, but we still MAXED it.
Read moreThey have a great menu with lots of options. Their local beer is delicious and I recommend trying it. They have a kids menu as well. We tried 2 apps and 4 main dishes. Everyone said wings were best, the zucchini fritters also good. Everyone ate the burrito together and thought it was tasty with the added avocado. My 5 son recommends eating it with the sriracha Mayo. My husband had the philly I believe and said it was good but also just ok. There were other things he liked better. My quesadilla was very tasty but runny. Lots of juices spilling out so I just folded it like a slice of pizza and went to town.
Pros: Good diversity in the menu, Food arrived quickly , Very kind service
Cons: Some of the food we order kind of just fell apart, Needed a pinch more salt on some dishes

Sunday brunch wasn't very tasty - Edit
We heard great things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. The food was average. We could only order from the Sunday brunch menu which was limited. The food was healthy but not very flavorful. We ordered the cast iron blackened tofu, which was served over grits and migas - a baked tofu scramble topped with vegan queso and salsa, served with corn tortillas. The service was good.

I had the hummus wrap plate which came with a salad and a side dish (I chose the collards), all for $9.25
Read moreThe portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were great. I will definitely go here when I return to Chattanooga. Warmly recommended.
Update October 2021: returned here several years later and this time I got the Popeye bowl. Almost enough for two people and the flavor was good. Staff very friendly. Still recommended!
