Open Wed-Thu 12:00pm-12:00am, Fri 12:00pm-8:00pm, Sat 1:00pm-8:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Staff was friendly and the restaurant itself has a really nice vibe and great art displayed throughout. But there is room for improvement with the dishes. I tried the spicy seitan wings and the panhandle tofu plate. Everything was a bit bland and the sauces used were watered down too much. I love that they are making an effort and are completely vegan but I hope they can spice up their dishes more and make some improvements with their flavors.

Surprised at all of the positive feedback. My husband and I really wanted to like Sluggos since a friend had suggested us to it. Place seemed dirty, found hairs in my food and then the food was mediocre at best. Very disappointed, this place has a lot of potential. I would just head over to Cashew.

I’m confused by all the stellar reviews here. This food was sub par. My husband and I walked 2.5 miles for it and I was so excited to eat here, but it was bland and kind of gross. The cheese sauce was green. They didn’t have any jalapeños for the nachos. The philly was tasteless, and the wings were just blobs of seitan in hot sauce. The only thing that was half way decent was the chili. Obviously I appreciate what they are doing but I wouldn’t eat there again.

A vegan gem in Chattanooga - Edit
This is a delightful place in a city I didn’t think I’d find such a good vegan restaurant. I had the lentil burger and the zucchini patties. I tasted the melt sandwich and had the blueberry cobbler all were very good. One of the best things about their food was the sauces really impressive. I highly recommend this spot.

It reminds me a little bit of a typical alternative restaurant in Berlin. Very individual and minimalistic. The food is average. I like the options but the food is kind of underwhelming. I really liked that one dressing I had, but the rest was just okay.

Sluggo's is my favorite place in the world to eat. It's a simple place run by cool people that are super relaxed and don't take themselves too seriously. Crazy music always playing, but never so loud you can't enjoy yourself. Cool graffiti outside and quirky art inside. Portions of food are so huge, you're going to be so full when you leave. Pretty rad that you can sit and eat on the deck when it's nice outside.

My husband and I visited Sluggo's recently and were very pleased. My husband got the pecan crusted seitan, I had the Berliner (reuben) and we shared some hot wings (seitan). All our food was excellent, generous portions, and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is small and very "mom and pop" business. It's not shiny or modern or fancy, but it has good food at a good price. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in Chattanooga!

My husband and I were travel home to Atlanta from Nashville we had our dog with us and Sluggos was the perfect spot to stop. We were able to sit outside with the dog and feast on some awesome vegan food!

We visited Sluggo's North in July and ordered the wings, nachos, and pecan dusted seitan. Everything we tried was great, but I especially loved the nachos. Whenever I see vegan queso on a menu I order it, and Sluggo's did not disappoint. We will definitely visit again on future trips to Chattanooga.

This place has great food! I was visiting this area and heard it is good, they did not disappoint! I went two days in a row, tried the Pecan Dusted Seitan, it was very good. Had the Sluggo's burrito the second day, also very good. Portion sizes are great and prices are definitely fair!

Every dish we've tried so has been superb. Favorite being pecan crusted seitan and the golden bowl. You get plenty for what you pay for. Only set back is cleanliness of the place. I'm not talking about decor, seating etc. Bathrooms filthy as well as outside seating and indoor dining area. It leaves one wondering if the kitchen is clean.

This place is 100% vegan. Everything on the menu. The staff are very nice and the atmosphere is super chill. What a find in Chattanooga. I'm going back tomorrow for lunch. Today I had the seitan philly, salad with dill dressing and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. It was really good!!!
