Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant offering a separate vegan menu with breakfast items, sandwiches, bowls and salads. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-6:00pm.
Multiple vegan options. The vegan big kid breakfast is great, they match everything on the non vegan version with true alternatives nothing less or lacking. Yummy and clearly labeled what’s vegan or can be made vegan.
Very happy with the recommendations for this cute, popular place just over the bridge on the north side. The menu has several vegan options. We had the vegan protein power bowl and split a vegan matcha scone. Very nice for a Sunday brunch.
Despite the name, this restaurant is vegan friendly! My husband and I took our two toddlers for breakfast and we were all very pleased with our choices!
There wasn’t a vegan menu, but the items that were vegan were labeled. And the server was knowledgeable about the vegan options too ( like when I asked what the ‘scramble egg substitute was- most servers say “Let me ask the chef” but this time our server knew it was seasoned tofu and could list the spices! )
Also- fresh squeezed juice!! And milk alternatives for lattes, I had an almond milk latte that was delicious.
Last, a small point, my breakfast was served with a fruit cup- the fresh fruit was blueberries and strawberries- my kids love fresh berries! So often our fruit cups are unripe honeydew melon 😂. So this was a very pleasant surprise! Definitely recommend:)
The good: they have items labeled as “vegan option available.” The bad: After having our table given away mistakenly to someone who just walked in without waiting, we endured a pretty chaotic dining experience. While vegan options are marked, there is no actual description of what this option entails, and don’t count on the wait staff to know. Also, I ordered the protein breakfast bowl vegan option, which replaced the eggs with tofu scramble, but someone still threw feta all over it. I had to wait for mine to be fixed while my husband ate his breakfast, and when it arrived, it was still an odd bowl of too much raw kale, tofu, avocado, and a scant offering of grains. It wasn’t exactly the hearty breakfast for which I had hoped after waiting over an hour to eat. When I tried to flag someone down for sourdough bread on the side (to fill me up), I just couldn’t get anyone to come over. It turned out to be a pretty stressful experience and not the enjoyable brunch for which I had hoped. I will say that they have plenty of plant milk options available, and the oat milk latte was good. I’d recommend going when things are less hectic so maybe the service would be better. The manager (without me asking!) did give me the dish for free, which was super cool, but I wouldn’t order this again. I got a coffee to go, and they gave me a cup without a fitted lid so I spilled coffee all over me before my four-hour ride back home. Lovely. It was kind of a comically bad experience all the way around, but I’m giving three stars instead of two because the manager was just so nice. I hope they work out the quirks because the restaurant environment is lovely.
Vegan options, but they don’t use different scoops. The service was not very good. We asked several times about using different scoops and the girl implied that wasn’t possible. My daughter got a vegan sorbet and enjoyed it. We
were very disappointed that an easy request wouldn’t be accommodated. Our daughter is a vegetarian with a milk allergy and we even explained this.
I was happy to come across this restaurant when I was visiting the area. With a name like Milk & Honey, you wouldn’t expect to find vegan food. But I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered they had a whole vegan menu. I ordered the roasted almond butter and seasonal preserves sandwich. It was delicious. They get bread from a local bakery and it was honestly some of the best bread I’ve ever had.
